Wayward Jane's music is a modern interpretation of American folk and Old Time traditions, blending roots music with fresh arrangements and original songs. Their rich sound features fiddle, clawhammer banjo, double bass, guitar, wooden flute and close vocal harmonies. Wayward's live shows have a joyful energy, expressing the fine musicianship and playful chemistry of the four musicians and friends. Ranging in mood from bouncing, energetic tunes to tender and soulful songs, Wayward Jane tend to leave audiences with a glow in their hearts. Wayward Jane have appeared together at folk clubs and festivals across the land, touring extensively in the UK and Ireland. They were recently featured live in session on BBC Radio Scotland's Travelling Folk where Bruce MacGregor remarked theyre just that bit different from anything else happening in Scotland! The band are busy members of the Edinburgh traditional music scene, playing in bands such as Brothers Gillespie, Dowally and Michael Starkey & Hannah Read, as well as collaborating with artists such as Rachel Baiman, Phil Alexander (Moishe's Bagel) and Hog-Eyed Man. They have released three albums - Wayward Jane, Old Train, and The Flood. The latter led to rave reviews, plays in Radio 6Music and a live performance on BBC Radio 4's Loose Ends.

Recently seen supporting Eddi Reader on her UK & Irish tours, Eilidh is a refreshingly honest and engaging performer. Eilidh (pronounced EYElee) is a warm, passionate singer songwriter of startling clarity. With songs that cut straight to the heart, delightfully accurate guitar playing, and crystal clear vocals, Eilidh immediately connects with audiences everywhere. Having released 5 studio albums and an EP to date, Eilidh (from Derry, N. Ireland) is a hard-working independent artist who is driven by her desire to connect with people. This desire has seen her perform regularly across Northern Ireland and at festivals such as SxSW in Austin TX (3 times), Folk Alliance in Memphis TN, and Celtic Connections in Glasgow, Scotland. Over the years she has worked with established artists in the folk scene both in the studio and on stage, most notably with Beth Nielsen Chapman. Regularly appearing on TV and radio, Eilidh has taken part in many live broadcasts and programmes for BBC NI and her music is played on radio stations across the UK and Ireland.

A Different Thread are back with their new album 'Call of the Road'. Eleven new songs about love, longing, and wanderlust. A Different Thread's is fronted by the duo Alicia Best from North Carolina and Robert Jackson from the Midlands of England. They originally met busking in Ireland and have been on the road ever since, recording, and touring internationally. They have supported the likes of Jody Stevens (Big Star) and Native Harrow, as well as garnering the attention of the BBC and NPR radio. 'Call of the Road' pulls from the band's respective roots, weaving together elements of British and Appalachian folk into a timeless, minimalist sound.

Aftermath at The Old Parcels Office is a diverse exhibition of work from artists across the north of England and is about the people and places affected by a post industrial environment in the UK with forays into overseas areas altered by conflict. Decline is evident in much of the artwork with odd glimpses of rebirth and the remains of a shipbuilding tradition.

Lauren Housley is a singer and songwriter hailing from Yorkshire; a young woman with a deep connection to great songs, the craft of storytelling and an emotive vocal performance. Lauren independently released her first two albums, Sweet Surrender in 2015 and The Beauty of This Life in 2017, quickly garnering acclaim from fans, critics and fellow musicians. Her single Ghost Town Blues was playlisted by BBC Radio 2, where fans include Bob Harris OBE, whilst The Waiting Game became Robert Elms favourite track of the year on his BBC Radio London Show (Absolutely monumental).

They weave together bluegrass instrumentation with award winning songwriting inspired by pop, country, classic rock and old time. Three part harmony and sing-along choruses support image-rich lyricism and thunderous banjo / fiddle drive.
