Upchuck

Upchuck

28 Jun 2026 - 30 Jun 2026

Domino is thrilled to announce its newest signing Upchuck, the incendiary Atlanta punk band of KT (vocals), Mikey Durham (guitar), Hoff (guitar), Ausar Ward (bass), and Chris Salado (vocals, drums). Today the band shares its scorching new single “Plastic,” produced and mixed by Ty Segall and mastered by Heba Kadry, and with a video directed by Ian Cone. In a two-minute blitz of scuzzy guitars and spitting vocals, “Plastic” contains the key to Upchuck’s ethos of authenticity: in a PVC world of hollowness and artificiality, you have to fight to find what’s real. “Algo me hace falta (‘something is missing’),” Chris howls on the Spanish-language bridge. The answer, exhorts KT, is to “know classics - know truths - know reason - know you. ”Upchuck burst into being in 2018 as a band of Atlanta skaters in their early 20s, fronted by the magnetic performer KT, and quickly became hometown heroes thanks to their uproarious live shows. 2022 saw the release of their debut full-length Sense Yourself on Brooklyn’s Famous Class Records and was followed soon after by 2023’s Bite The Hand That Feeds, produced by Ty Segall. Early singles like “Freaky” and “Facecard” won support from the likes of Iggy Pop and Henry Rollins, who both played tracks on their radio shows, as well as press attention for their “die-hard attitude” (Vogue) and “lightning-hot bursts of energy” (The Fader). The burgeoning legend of Upchuck’s live show continued to spread internationally, with support tours with fellow Atlantan Faye Webster – who calls Upchuck her favorite band – Amyl & The Sniffers, Soul Glo, OSEES, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, and an attention-grabbing slot at Coachella 2024. “Everything explodes,” wrote Rolling Stone after catching them at SXSW. “The club becomes a sonic cannon, set to maximum destruction. Every song hits this hard.”

Portals X Yndi Halda: Celebration Of Under Summer
Portals have teamed up with legendary British alternative / post-rock band yndi halda to co-curate a micro-festival in celebration of the 10 year anniversary of their second album Under Summer. The evening will culminate with a headline set from yndi halda. The legendary band will be performing their first UK gig for nearly 8 years. While yndi halda have previously worn the mantles of “instrumental” and “post-rock” music - especially with their 2006 debut Enjoy Eternal Bliss - more recent releases have occupied considerably broader territories. The closely-crafted vocal harmonies and new musicalities of their last album Under Summer were continued in follow-up EP A Sun-Coloured Shaker, where their forms are embedded into a symbiotic world in which a love of true songwriting, meticulous post-classical arrangement, contemporary indie, choral music, and transcendent longform structure coexist. There will also be a medley of various solo projects from members of the band with each project performing a short set, including: A Lily, Kibbo Kift, Dau, SA Hampshire, Incorruptible Bodies & Jack Lambert. Also performing are instrumental rock quartet Codices, shape-shifting alt-rock outfit Ceann Capaill, alternative rock local heroes Mount Forel, blackgaze rising stars World Coda and experimental artist BAG. Test Dept

Test Dept

8 Oct 2026 - 8 Oct 2026

Baba Yaga's Hut present: Test Dept at Oslo, October 8th From the outset, Test Dept were lauded for their innovative use of found objects, scrap metal and industrial detritus as instruments. The group's unique blend of aggressive percussion, noise, distorted samples and experimental soundscapes also reflected their commitment to challenging the status quo, most famously in 1984 when they ventured into the industrial communities of Britain to perform live with the South Wales Striking Miner’s Choir, raising money and awareness for that cause. Envisioning themselves as part of a broader cultural movement exploring the intersection of art and social change, their collaborative instinct led to the formation of The Ministry of Power, an umbrella organisation for working collectively on multidisciplinary projects that integrated music, movement, theatre, film and political activism. This led to large scale multi-media productions in disused industrial spaces and unusual environments. 2015 saw the publication of an extensive book entitled ‘Total State Machine’ that chronicled Test Dept's history, philosophy and work, while the ‘Disturbance’ album issued in 2019 incorporated expansive electronic production and was promoted with a tour. In 2023 the group was commissioned by the arts organisation A/POLITICAL to create the new large-scale work ‘Furnace' in an old iron foundry in southern France. This is an ongoing relationship that has further works in the pipeline. 2025 was a pivotal year as they linked-up with Canadian label Artoffact Records to commence an extensive back catalogue reissue campaign, the first fruits of which was the 4CD set “Industrial Overture” covering their earliest material and included rare and unreleased recordings including 2 John Peel sessions. They also re-emerged with a new approach to live performances: an electronically-focussed set which, with its incorporation of film and acoustic and percussive instrumentation, loses none of the power and impact that is synonymous with Test Dept. A new album is currently being worked during 2026 with further reissues and live appearances planned. Presented by Baba Yaga's Hut. This is a 16+ event (under 18’s accompanied).

Jamie McIntyre

Jamie McIntyre

11 Oct 2026 - 18 Oct 2026

Jamie McIntyres rise from busking on the streets of Galway city to stages across Ireland and the UK is one of Irelands latest growing success stories. Writing since the young age of 15, McIntyres musical journey began on Shop Street, busking during his college years. His early traction on social media helped to build a loyal following where he caught the eye of Gavin James who selected McIntyre to join him as support in Paris on his European tour as part of Threes City Stages initiative to find up and coming grassroots musicians and champion them. That groundwork paid off in the summer of 2024 when McIntyre released Over Galway Town, a viral hit garnering over 50 million views on TikTok and has since amassed over 7.5 million streams on Spotify, and sitting alongside some of the worlds biggest artists in the viral charts, reaching listeners from across the globe. That summer, McIntyre had the opportunity to work with Imelda May and performed at Electric Picnic as an add on to his Three City Stages experience, having impressed on his initial appearances with Gavin James. Sell-out support shows followed with Liverpool songwriter Jamie Webster at 3Olympia in Dublin and The Telegraph Building in Belfast, showcasing he was more than capable of holding his own on bigger stages. Last year saw McIntyre take his first steps as a headline artist, selling out shows in Dublin, Limerick and his hometown of Galway on his debut Irish tour. His EP Chapter 23 continued to grow his fanbase, with tracks West is Home and Grá quickly becoming live favourites and amassing over 250,000 streams in their first week alone (now sitting at over 2.3 million streams each). The For Folks Sake EP followed in October, accompanied by a sold-out Irish and UK tour that underlined just how quickly his audience has grown and introduced the world to arguably his most popular song to date, Melbourne a tried and tested story about love lost to the far side of the world. 2026 has continued that trajectory honing his live show across a sold out ten-date regional Irish tour and growing that UK presence with headline shows at The Camden in London and King Tuts in Glasgow while joining Florida beach-folk act The 502s across an eight-date UK and Ireland tour, including shows at Vicar Street in Dublin and The Limelight in Belfast, all sandwiched between new songs 17 Again and Off to America. McIntyre is one of the most exciting independent voices to emerge from Ireland in years. His songs are relatable and driven through lived experience and a Grá for home, familiar to those having had to watch as their loved ones leave for a new experience across the world and a comfort for those who are living it. If this is a breakthrough year for the Galway songwriter, by any measure, 2026 could be the year it becomes something more than a breakthrough. An artist built on authenticity, community and the kind of songwriting that turns strangers into sing-along crowds and songs into anthems for a new generation.

Lowertown

Lowertown

3 Sept 2026 - 7 Sept 2026

The songwriting partnership of Olivia Osby and Avsha Weinberg has faced serious challenges in recent years. Constant touring, a label split, creative frustrations, and an unhealthy attachment strained both their collaboration and their friendship-intensified by the turbulence of their late teens and early twenties. Eventually, they realized they needed to reconnect with their roots. Those roots lie in Atlanta, Georgia-among forests, DIY venues, punk communities, and Weinberg’s family basement-but also on the early internet. The band grew up on Tumblr and Reddit, in digital spaces that fostered real-world connections through concerts and shared passions. During the pandemic, they saw these spaces become commodified or disappear, leaving a void for genuine community. From that void, the Ugly Duckling Union was born. Presented by PCL Presents. Sbp4 (samoe Bolshoe Prostoe Chislo)

22 Nov 2026 - 22 Nov 2026

SBP4 (“Samoe Bolshoe Prostoe Chislo”) play their first-ever London headline show on 22 November at OSLO, Hackney, bringing the brand-new album that might just be the most danceable record in the band’s history. Their concerts feel equally like a rave, a group therapy session, and a night out with old friends - the kind where you suddenly remember what it means to feel alive. One of the most beloved and distinctive bands to emerge from the post-Soviet indie scene, SBP4 celebrated 20 years with a new live show built around emotional honesty, sharp irony, electronic grooves, and glorious on-stage chaos. Over nearly two decades, they have released 17 albums, performed internationally across Europe and North America, collaborated with Gucci and Google, and built a cult following around songs that somehow make you want to dance and cry at the same time. Expect favourites, new material, jumping-to-the-ceiling moments, emotional whiplash, and ninety minutes of forgetting the outside world exists. Grab your spot and bring your local friends - you don't need to know the lyrics to feel the vibe! Presented by Random Drama. This is a 16+ event (under 18’s accompanied).

The Holloways

The Holloways

30 Oct 2026 - 30 Oct 2026

Formed in 2004 in a pub on the Holloway Road, Alfie, Bryn, Rob and Dave set about creating a rabblerousing, uplifting sound that captured the energy of life in the UK and beyond, thus became The Holloways. Releasing their debut album in 2006 the band, who were fiercely independent, scored a string of hits with Number 1’s on the Independent Release Charts for 4 singles and their debut album, along with a total of 20 weeks spent in the Official UK Charts and countless hours of primetime radio play. Although they suffered some bad times, most notably losing founding member Rob Skipper and a fire in which they lost a lot of equipment, they never let that get in the way of generating the music to make you feel better. You’ll remember them for Generator, but you’ll stick with them for the vibes and the good times. Now, the energy and the bond in the band has seen them reignite passions with an upcoming tour of intimate venues taking the band back to some of the places it all began, for their first live shows back in some years.
Ryan Davis & The Roadhouse Band

Ryan Davis & The Roadhouse Band

10 Sept 2026 - 10 Sept 2026

At the frayed bottom-edge of Indiana just a moderate bike ride north of Louisville, Kentucky multi-instrumentalist, artist and songwriter Ryan Davis Americana-noir soundwaves have been emanating for years in a myriad of forms. As driving force for the lauded State Champion, long-running member of Tropical Trash, administrator of the esoteric and excellent Cropped Out festival, and lone proprietor of the Sophomore Lounge label, Davis lays down his first proper 'solo release with Dancing On The Edge a rich, two-LP tapestry of tunes that absolutely glows over seven expansive cuts. It's a pure collage of modernity and heritage. After a period of introspection spent re-immersing himself in his drawing and painting practice, as well as his newfound delvings into instrumental music, Davis sea change was imminent. I wasnt sure I would ever make another record of 'song songs, he says, but last year I started writing again and it eventually took the shape of the record at hand. I worked painstakingly hard on the material. It felt virtually impossible to complete for a bulk of the time I spent trying to enter into it, but the process pulled me out of a strange place. I was eventually able to live inside of the songs enough to understand the world within them to ultimately help shape them into what I understood them to be. Indeed, there's a load of inspiration captured in the grooves with Ryan's unfiltered, folk-traditioned approach to poetic twists-of-tongue meeting head on with sublime instrumentation. Recorded in early 2023 with help both in-studio and remotely from peers like Joan Shelley, Catherine Irwin (Freakwater), Will Lawrence (Felice Brothers, Gun Outfit, John Early), Jenny Rose (Giving Up), Christopher May (Mail the Horse), Elisabeth Fuchsia (Footings, Bonnie Prince Billy) and Aaron Rosenblum (Son of Earth, Sapat), Dancing on the Edge draws backup perhaps primarily from Davis tight-knit drinking buddies-cum-cast of collaborators in Equipment Pointed Ankh (records on Astral Editions, Bruit Direct Disques, Torn Light) a five-headed hive-mind from which he drew impetus for his own foray into more abstract and improvisational terrain these past few years under the Roadhouse alias. The results herein are melancholic, gentle, minimal yet colourful in mood: a lilting highway accompaniment of crisp instrumentation and a relaxed, amiable approach to vocals with rhapsodic wordsmithery. Fans of the aforementioned artists as well as those of Souled American, David Berman, Kurt Vile and Comes A Time-era Neil should all easily find bounty. While bare-boned and uncluttered in presentation, many of these pieces track over six minutes allowing a fair amount of expansiveness. Flashes of Orange percolates with synthetic and organic percussion while Davis ruminates on how a steady drip falls from the ceiling to my forehead / a pitter-patter of my past mistakes as a Cale-esque violin chatters through impressionistic fields of pedal steel. It's got an absence of recurring verses, replaced by an ever-unfolding story, words spotlighted by tasteful flanging synths and lovely key shifts as finally the titular hook lifts its proceedings up into the clouds. Other times the humour shines: tales of a jukebox that only plays Sultans of Swing in Junk Drawer Heart, ruminations like 'soon Ill be seen as a problem for the neighbours / soon Ill be seen as a trophy for the precinct in Free From the Guillotine, and of course the simple proclamation of A Suitable Exit being I never asked to be born / I was only wondering where the door went to. Tracked and mixed by Seth Manchester at Machines With Magnets (Pawtucket, RI) and mastered for vinyl by Tohru Kotetsu at Tokyo's legendary JVC Mastering Center, Dancing On The Edge stares down into the navel of the American Experience underbelly with a fair amount of outward reach. Besides the Kosmische-synth and violin stabs reaching into a European element, stately organ swells build a musical bridge between 1969 Southern California and Felt's latter era smooth moves, with layers of intelligent gesture taking this well beyond the realm of its archetypal indie troubadour/acoustic songwriter tag. Music and mint juleps never went down so well together.

Paranoid Void

Paranoid Void

7 Oct 2026 - 7 Oct 2026

Those of you who showed up early for AWIWYFA’s London show last year will know Paranoid Void already. You will doubtless remember the Osaka-based three-piece’s spiralling instrumental compositions built on intricate rhythms and emotionally charged dynamics that have a very genuine tendency to leave jaws heading irrecoverably towards the floor. If you weren't at those shows, you're going to want to show up to this one to find out what all the fuss is about. This will be your first chance to catch tracks from their new album Action, which was released back in January, in London, so don't miss it. Continuing the international theme, although somewhat closer to home, we have the incredible God Alone from Cork, Ireland. Their genre-bending approach traverses through mathrock, dance, avant-garde, post-punk and more on its way to its final destination. Citing the Talking Heads as a big influence, God Alone embrace absurdism at every turn - in particular the absurdity of nothingness; the art of existing without meaning or context. Abstract lyrics are influenced by French Dadaist poets, who seek to turn heavy ideas into fun, danceable vignettes. How's that for a special night? You're going to want to hit that buy tickets button. Presented by Pink Mist. This is a 16+ event (under 18’s accompanied).
