Concerts in the Park!  Head down to Peasholm Park this summer to listen to the Brass & Silver bands this Summer. 

This is a magical evening under the stars by the shimmering lake in Peasholm Park, Scarborough. Staged by Animated Objects and North Yorkshire Council, this is an opportunity for people to come and explore the park as the night draws in. There’ll be illuminated lanterns and dragon boats with the park’s oriental-themed island daubed in colourful lights to create magical reflections in the water as visitors make their way around the lake.

Autumn Daze' Festival will take place in the oriental themed Peasholm Park on Scarborough's north side and feature a whole range of free, autumn themed activities set against the colourful seasonal backdrop of the park's impressive woodland. From bush craft demonstrations to storytelling, marshmallow toasting to primitive fire-starting and craft activities to a scavenger hunt, there will be fun, adventure and a feel good factor for all the family.

Set on the Peashom Park lake in beautiful garden surroundings. War breaks out on the lake in the middle of the park when the 20-foot replica boats recreate some serious tensions during the Peasholm Park Naval Battle. The “Battle of Peasholm” lasts for 30 minutes and is produced three times per week. Peasholm Park is a fundamental element of Scarborough’s North Bay tourist experience. With its oriental theme, pagoda, lake and waterfalls, Peasholm is a beautiful park, treasured by many generations of visitors. There are many attractions such as boating, golf, naval warfare battles, musical shows from the on lake band stand and many seasonal events within the park.

Lucy Wizpop doesn't see the point in brushing teeth and bedtime stories, it's boring! That is until she meets a new friend whose job it is to make bedtimes fun. A show for young families with audience participation and a relaxed atmosphere.
