Singin' I'm no a Billy, He's a Tim

20 Sept 2025 - 20 Sept 2025

WINNER OF THE STAGE AWARD FOR ACTING EXCELLENCE Force adversaries to talk and you may achieve peace. What happens when you lock up a Celtic fan with a Rangers fan on the day of the big match? Fireworks! That’s What! Des Dillon delights, entertains and educates on the religious origins of Celtic-Rangers conflict. Beneath its amusement, this award-winning play explores bigotry and ethnic identity on both a microcosmic and macrocosmic scale. Through the lens of the two characters locked in a prison cell, we witness the generational repercussions of Catholic and Protestant strife. Furthermore the play functions as a broader allegory, addressing bigotry-motivated hate across multiple communities. It extends beyond the immediate conflict, including references to the UK immigration crisis and tensions in Palestine, making it a powerful commentary on the universal nature of prejudice and division. 'The sheer vitality of the theatrical writing - the seamless combination of verbal wit and raw kinetic energy, and the pure dynamic strength of the play’s structure - makes this show feel like one of the shortest and most gripping two-hour shows in current Scottish theatre.' They went on to record six studio albums, including the Mercury-Prize nominated album, Sky At Night. Since 2016, Bramwell has reverted to being a solo artist and tours continuously, around the UK and Europe. A home-recorded solo album, Leave Alone the Empty Spaces appeared in 2018 and the follow-up, a more expansive affair, with a working title of The Light Fantastic, is now scheduled for release in 2022.

Jamie MacDougall as Lauder by Jimmy Logan adapted by Kally Lloyd-Jones and Jamie MacDougall This is a Perth Festival of the Arts event. Performed by one of Scotland’s leading artists and the nation’s voice of classical music for BBC Radio Scotland, Jamie MacDougall, Lauder is a gem of a show about a legendary Scottish entertainer. This is the incredible story of one of the world’s first superstars, an original thinker, a man of vision and humour whose real life inspires, more than the larger than life characters he created. And now that young McKay seems to have disappeared into thin air, Gerda needs to find him, and old Grannie Frannie McMannie definitely needs to put her thermals on - she's pure freezin'! The adventure begins, as Gerda sets off on her quest to find McKay, and meets comical crows, gormless gardeners, a talking reindeer and a whole host of other unlikely types along the way, singing, dancing and even chucking sweeties out as they travel north to the icy realm of... Just Between Ourselves

Just Between Ourselves

28 May 2025 - 14 Jun 2025

London Classic Theatre present JUST BETWEEN OURSELVES By Alan Ayckbourn Directed by Michael Cabot Five birthdays. Two unhappy marriages. One possessive mother. It is 1976. Dennis tinkers in his garage, cheerfully indifferent to wife Vera’s impending breakdown. Marjorie hovers in the background, making tea and finding fault. Neil has planned a birthday surprise for his wife, but Pam doesn’t share his enthusiasm, preoccupied by frustrations of her own. In perhaps his most emotionally charged play, Alan Ayckbourn masterfully evokes a world of hidden tensions and suppressed hostility. He skilfully navigates the tightrope between comedy and tragedy, guiding us towards a hilarious, yet chilling finale. An Olivier and Tony Award winning playwright, Alan Ayckbourn’s ninety plays have been produced worldwide. Notable successes include: 'The Norman Conquests', 'Relatively Speaking', 'Bedroom Farce', 'A Chorus of Disapproval' and 'Communicating Doors'. Following successful tours of 'Absent Friends' (2015) and 'Absurd Person Singular' (2020-21), Alan Ayckbourn’s 1976 masterclass in suburban comedy and heartbreak will form the centrepiece of London Classic Theatre’s 25th Anniversary celebrations. ‘A master of comic ingenuity.’ The Guardian
Kirsten Adamson

Kirsten Adamson

4 Oct 2025 - 20 Feb 2026

Singer/songwriter Kirsten Adamson summons the same heart-stopping purity as Sandy Denny, by way of Emmylou Harris and Kate Bush. Transcendence runs in the family. Her father was Stuart Adamson (Skids, Big Country) and her mother Alexandra, a champion Highland dancer. With summers spent soaking up the atmosphere in Nashville with her dad and a string of leading roles in musical theatre back in the UK, the teenage Adamson’s course was set. She sang backing vocals on Big Country’s last album Driving to Damascus at age 13. By 2010, she was forging her own career as a vocalist and keyboard player for indie-folkers Aberfeldy. She fronted country rockers The Gillyflowers and more recently shone as half of alt-country duo The Marriage, and then on a self-titled solo debut. The austere beauty of her voice has been a constant motif.
The Man Who Left The Titanic

The Man Who Left The Titanic

4 Oct 2025 - 4 Oct 2025

She was beautiful… she was unsinkable… she was doomed… On April 15th 1912, the Titanic, the greatest ship in the world, slipped below the frigid waters of the Atlantic. Yet J. Bruce Ismay, Managing Director of the White Star Line, stepped into a lifeboat and sailed away from the stricken ship, sailed away from his passengers, sailed away from the cries and screams and tears. The Man Who Left The Titanic evokes that terrible voyage and asks whether Bruce Ismay only did what any of us might have done in the same circumstances, or should his actions that night consign his name to infamy? Was he a coward, or merely human? This play has toured throughout England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales for a number of years to enormous acclaim. ‍'The much respected Isosceles Company are undoubtedly multi-talented and this production must be one of their most thought-provoking. I would encourage you to get tickets.' Irish News ‍'It is captivating, moving, and totally engrossing.' Titanic Stories, Belfast ‍'When the play ended the audience leaped to their feet with an unending round of applause. Outstanding, the entire audience was spellbound from beginning to end.' Titanic International Society

1 in 6 adults in the UK will lose their hearing in their lifetime; two of those are Ray Bradshaw’s parents. The multi award winning comedian is back on tour with a brand-new show all about growing up as a CODA; A Child of Deaf Adults. His upbringing was nothing like the Oscar winning film and he’s here to tell you why. CODA is a funny, heartwarming show all about the brilliant things that happen when you grow up in a house where sign language is the first language used; whether it’s watching his dad shut his eyes to win any argument or beating his in-laws easily when they suggested playing charades against a deaf family on Christmas Day. Ray’s previous shows Deaf Com One and Doppelginger were huge successes and sold-out theatres across the world. As this show is all about growing up with deaf parents every show of CODA will have a BSL interpreter. Ray has previously supported John Bishop on his UK arena tour after John described him as ‘one of the best comedians in the country’.

We Came From Wolves plus special guests We Came From Wolves are a rock band from Perth, known for blending hard-hitting riffs, soaring leads, anthemic sing-along choruses, and powerful melodies. Formed in 2010, the band quickly gained recognition for their energetic live shows and emotive lyrics. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Deftones, Finch, BMTH, and Biffy Clyro, their music explores themes of self-discovery, resilience, love, loss, and the human experience. The band have toured extensively across the UK and Europe, selling out iconic venues along the way and performing at major festivals such as T in the Park, Belladrum, Waves Bratislava, and Waves Vienna, among many others. In 2015, the band released their self-titled debut album and were crowned Best Rock/Alternative Act at the Scottish Alternative Music Awards. Like many independent artists, the pandemic disrupted their momentum and led to an enforced hiatus. In 2023, the band teamed up with Heavy Music Award-winning producer Neil Kennedy (Creeper, Funeral For A Friend, Cold Years) to begin recording their much-anticipated second album, In Another Life. It will be premiered with a special audio-visual performance in this long overdue hometown show, their first in seven years. 'Everything you could want from emotional Scottish rock' Rock Sound 'So many original, radio-friendly songs that instantly lodge in the brain' Sunday Herald 'A slick and consistently catchy collection of anthemic pop-rock songs' The Skinny 'One of the most exciting bands in Scotland, brimming with hooks, riffs and massive sing-along lyrics' RaveChild
