WINNER OF THE STAGE AWARD FOR ACTING EXCELLENCE Force adversaries to talk and you may achieve peace. What happens when you lock up a Celtic fan with a Rangers fan on the day of the big match? Fireworks! That’s What! Des Dillon delights, entertains and educates on the religious origins of Celtic-Rangers conflict. Beneath its amusement, this award-winning play explores bigotry and ethnic identity on both a microcosmic and macrocosmic scale. Through the lens of the two characters locked in a prison cell, we witness the generational repercussions of Catholic and Protestant strife. Furthermore the play functions as a broader allegory, addressing bigotry-motivated hate across multiple communities. It extends beyond the immediate conflict, including references to the UK immigration crisis and tensions in Palestine, making it a powerful commentary on the universal nature of prejudice and division. 'The sheer vitality of the theatrical writing - the seamless combination of verbal wit and raw kinetic energy, and the pure dynamic strength of the play’s structure - makes this show feel like one of the shortest and most gripping two-hour shows in current Scottish theatre.' They went on to record six studio albums, including the Mercury-Prize nominated album, Sky At Night. Since 2016, Bramwell has reverted to being a solo artist and tours continuously, around the UK and Europe. A home-recorded solo album, Leave Alone the Empty Spaces appeared in 2018 and the follow-up, a more expansive affair, with a working title of The Light Fantastic, is now scheduled for release in 2022.

Nobody is safe from her vindictive ways, especially the young, fun-loving villagers of Upper Doonigan! And now that young McKay seems to have disappeared into thin air, Gerda needs to find him, and old Grannie Frannie McMannie definitely needs to put her thermals on - she's pure freezin'! The adventure begins, as Gerda sets off on her quest to find McKay, and meets comical crows, gormless gardeners, a talking reindeer and a whole host of other unlikely types along the way, singing, dancing and even chucking sweeties out as they travel north to the icy realm of... Kirsten Adamson

Kirsten Adamson

3 Oct 2025 - 20 Feb 2026

Singer/songwriter Kirsten Adamson summons the same heart-stopping purity as Sandy Denny, by way of Emmylou Harris and Kate Bush. Transcendence runs in the family. Her father was Stuart Adamson (Skids, Big Country) and her mother Alexandra, a champion Highland dancer. With summers spent soaking up the atmosphere in Nashville with her dad and a string of leading roles in musical theatre back in the UK, the teenage Adamson’s course was set. She sang backing vocals on Big Country’s last album Driving to Damascus at age 13. By 2010, she was forging her own career as a vocalist and keyboard player for indie-folkers Aberfeldy. She fronted country rockers The Gillyflowers and more recently shone as half of alt-country duo The Marriage, and then on a self-titled solo debut. The austere beauty of her voice has been a constant motif.
The Man Who Left The Titanic

The Man Who Left The Titanic

4 Oct 2025 - 4 Oct 2025

She was beautiful… she was unsinkable… she was doomed… On April 15th 1912, the Titanic, the greatest ship in the world, slipped below the frigid waters of the Atlantic. Yet J. Bruce Ismay, Managing Director of the White Star Line, stepped into a lifeboat and sailed away from the stricken ship, sailed away from his passengers, sailed away from the cries and screams and tears. The Man Who Left The Titanic evokes that terrible voyage and asks whether Bruce Ismay only did what any of us might have done in the same circumstances, or should his actions that night consign his name to infamy? Was he a coward, or merely human? This play has toured throughout England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales for a number of years to enormous acclaim. ‍'The much respected Isosceles Company are undoubtedly multi-talented and this production must be one of their most thought-provoking. I would encourage you to get tickets.' Irish News ‍'It is captivating, moving, and totally engrossing.' Titanic Stories, Belfast ‍'When the play ended the audience leaped to their feet with an unending round of applause. Outstanding, the entire audience was spellbound from beginning to end.' You Look Like A Singer! 65 Years Of Ricky Garton
You Look Like A Singer! 65 Years Of Ricky Garton plus Dave Amos and Pete Caban It all began for iconic Perth rocker Ricky Garton back in the late 1950's, when two guys approached him and asked if he would like to sing in their group. Ricky was a bit surprised by this as he had never sung a note in a band before but they told the handsome teenager that they thought he looked like a singer! So Ricky joined the Teenbeats with Andy Patterson and Ronnie Mulligan and since then he’s never looked back, performing his catalogue of rock and roll classics regularly for each of the next seven decades! When the Teenbeats split a couple of years later he joined The Cyclones, who cut their teeth in the clubs of Germany like so many British beat boom bands of the time. Ricky and his current band, The Breakers, will lead you on a musical journey through his incredible career, accompanied by some of the many musicians who have been part of that story. Classic songs from the golden era of rock and roll in the 50s and 60s will form the backbone of what promises to be an unforgettable celebration of Perth’s very own Elvis.

A native of the Isle of Lewis, Màiri takes the lead on a handful of Gaelic language songs, mostly collected in Cape Breton, while Alasdair leads on some Canadian variants of the types of Scots ballads for which he has become well-known. Groomed Written and performed by Patrick Sandford Directed by Nancy Meckler Music by Simon Slater A man goes back to his Primary School after many years.
