"Elvis & Me" Starring Mark Janicello: The Voice from New York - Session 4
"Elvis & Me" Starring Mark Janicello: The Voice from New York - Session 4 We've been overwhelmed with requests for a 2nd performance, so we've added an Encore performance of "Elvis & Me." The performance promises an intimate, powerful performance of Elvis Presley's music, featuring a mix of beloved hits and a few lesser-known gems from Elvis' enormous catalogue. Janicello played Elvis over 400 times in two different musicals about Presley's life that were produced in Europe. "Elvis & Me." offers a fresh approach to Elvis's music. Mark Janicello, a clasically-trained operatic tenor whose pop singing has drawn remarkable comparisons to Elvis, will perform material that highlights the emotional breadth and vocal nuance of Presley’s work without resorting to imitation. Ben Weisman, who composed 57 songs for Elvis — more than any other songwriter — praised Janicello’s voice, saying, "Mark has a voice that Elvis could have only dreamed of. He is, in my opinion, the Best Elvis Interpreter (not imitator) in the world, and I know what I'm talking about. I've heard them all." "Elvis & Me."will be notable for its connection to an unreleased piece of Elvis' history. After working with Janicello, Ben Weisman shared an unreleased Elvis song titled "Will You Still Be There," one of three songs Weisman Elvis was to have recorded for what would have been his final, unfinished album. "Will You Still Be There" became Janicello's first commercial recording. The song was a sensation which resulted in Janicello being hired to play Elvis in "ELVIS: The Musical Biography" which proved to be a breakthrough role for him in Europe. The inclusion of this rare work in "Elvis & Me" underlines the concert’s blend of tribute, discovery, and unique vocal artistry. Upon moving to London in 2022, Janicello was named "The World's Best Gospel Elvis" at the Porthcawl Elvis Festival, the largest Elvis Festival in the world."Elvis & Me" marks Janicello's first concert with Elvis' music in London. Mark Janicello brings both technical mastery and heartfelt interpretation to the stage. Janicello focuses on honoring the spirit and musical legacy of Elvis' songs through vocal fidelity and emotional clarity. The result is a performance that appeals to longtime Elvis fans and new audiences alike, offering a respectful, compelling reimagining of classic material. About Mark Janicello Mark is a world-class Entertainer who has performed in 53 countries and amassed 12 million views on YouTube (just in 2025). From Elvis' Greatest Hits, to some lesser-known gems, (plus lots of surprises) be prepared to laugh, cry and sing along with one of most powerful, versatile and emotional singers to ever emerge on the international stage. Due to his truly unique, extremely versatile singing voice with its 4 1/2 octave range, he has recorded 39 CDs in every conceivable musical style. Special highlights include "Suspicious Minds," "In The Ghetto," "The Wonder Of You," "Fame and Fortune" and many, many more, including the last unreleased Elvis song “Will You Still Be There” by Ben Weisman. Mark brings “all the feels, all the time!” Please Note: Mark Janicello and his team may be filming this performance for professional use, (including his YouTube Channel) and/or for behind-the-scenes content. By purchasing a ticket and by entering the Phoenix Arts Club, attendees acknowledge and accept that their image, voice, and likeness may be captured. If you’d like to attend the concert, but do not wish to be filmed, please purchase tickets towards the back of the auditorium.

Tom Gilbey: Absolute Filth

6 Jul 2026 - 26 Sept 2026

Tom Gilbey is an award-winning wine expert, marathon-runner, and now author, with a career that has seen him taste, sell, spill and celebrate wine for over 30 years. He first caught the wine bug as a child, roaming around his grandfather’s château in Bordeaux, and by 23 he was already making the stuff himself. Since then, he’s done just about everything in wine - from winemaker to merchant to now running his own company, Tom Gilbey Wine. Tom’s mission has always been simple: to get people drinking better wine without needing to remortgage their house. After being shoved into an ice bath by his son Fred (to prove just how cold white wine should be), Tom stumbled into viral fame. His videos, demonstrating equal parts passion, humour and common sense, have been seen by millions, and his online community now tops 850,000 followers worldwide. With his trademark mix of enthusiasm, knowledge and mischief, Tom has carved out a new role as the most entertaining, refreshing voice in wine today: proving, once and for all, that wine should be about joy, not jargon.
