Jazz Sabbath plays new jazz arrangements of Black Sabbath songs, although they present themselves as a jazz trio formed in 1968 - and the original writers of the tracks later made famous by Black Sabbath. Helmed by pianist Adam Wakeman (Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne), they explore the boundaries between jazz and the songs that defined heavy metal.
