StudioCoop's first full scale musical production "Tick, tick BOOM!" is based on the life of Pulitzer Prize winning composer Jonathan Larson. Set in 1990 in the lead up to Jonathan's 30th birthday, we see Jonathan, a struggling artist, obsess with achieving his dream of writing his first hit musical before he's 30. Based on Larson's lived experience, we see the his struggles and heartache as he throws everything into his work in the face of adversity as he navigates challenges in his own relationships.
