The Queens Leisure Centre on Melrose Road, Galashiels, is the home to range of programmes such as Learn 2 Play and Mini Gymnastics. The Queens Centre is a hub of activity with regular events and school holiday activity programmes. The sports hall is bookable for sports such as football, badminton, basketball, netball and for individuals or club use and a range of courses. Live Borders has invested £25,000 in this flagship facility for gymnastics in Galashiels. The new equipment allows children to focus on and further enhance their ABCs: agility, balance and coordination, and a new programme will provide expert coaching for children from pre-school age through to secondary school.
