DARKER unites a collective of six artists, each pushing boundaries to explore the subconscious and the provocative. Working across mediums such as paint, print, 3D sculpture, collage, film, and music, the group channels a fusion of Pop Art, Surrealism, agit-prop, and the avant-garde to create a visceral and electric atmosphere in the setting of a beautiful Regency-era townhouse.

Take a step back in time with our unique walking tour of Brunswick Town, led by a knowledgeable guide dressed and acting as a Regency gentleman from Brighton in 1831. As you stroll through the streets, you'll hear tales of how the town came into being and learn about its most colourful characters. Your guide will bring the era to life, based on extensive research, transporting you back in time to the bustling, vibrant world of Regency England. After your walk, you'll be invited back to our wonderful Regency townhouse, where you can enjoy an authentic afternoon tea in a stunning period setting. Sip on delicious tea and nibble on homemade cakes, scrumptious sandwiches, and delightful scones with cream and jam, all while basking in the ambiance of a bygone era. Originally designed for those who had already taken a tour of The Regency Town House, but now enjoyed by all-comers, our guided walk around historic Brunswick Town makes use of early 19th C newspaper and diary entries to explore the building phase and early occupation of the estate. The walk cover some 1.5 miles in approximately 90 minutes and is largely or level, or gently sloping, pavement.

Join us for a 90 minute fully guided tour around one of the Brighton & Hove's finest 1820s terraced town houses, currently being restored as a heritage centre. Learn about the city's development, and discover how our local properties were built, decorated and used. Explore upstairs life in our main property at No. 13 and downstairs in our wonderful basement annex at No. 10.
