Ripon Racecourse has been hosting racing events for over 300 years. Commonly known as the Garden Racecourse Ripon hosts sixteen race meetings a year as well as special events including dog shows and car boot sales. There are plenty of hospitality packages on offer and the permanent giant screen provides clear footage of all the action. By car Ripon is most easily accessed by the A1. The nearest stations are Harrogate (11 miles), Thirsk (11miles) and York (27 miles). The racecourse is approximately two miles from the centre of Ripon which is a short taxi ride or a relatively easy walk.
