Their sound is described as a mix of alternative indie, art-rock, experimental and post-punk, with their music being characterised by jagged guitars, infectious hooks, eclectic and chaotic energy. Orkawave's original compositions showcase their diverse musical influences while maintaining a distinctive sound that sets them apart. The band have performed and played at several music venues across Glasgow and have gained regular airplay across radio station. Parallel Senses are a 4 piece alternative rock band from Glasgow. Their songs are inspired by genres from the past like Classic Rock, Progressive Rock, New Wave and Indie Rock whilst being firmly rooted in the 2020s. Their sound is dynamic and uses different textures and structures to keep music sonically fresh and interesting to listen to. They have headlined The Classic Grand in Glasgow and have played in a variety of different venues such as the iconic King Tuts during their New Years Revolution Festival. Their compositions and sounds are influenced by The Police Arctic Monkeys, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd and are vocally inspired by artists like Blondie, Fontaines D.C and Wolf Alice. Rex Hooper and the Gunsingers deliver cinematic western music rooted in classic country, bluegrass and 1950s frontier ballads. Drawing inspiration from vintage western soundtracks and the storytelling tradition of artists like Hank Williams and Lefty Frizzel, their songs feel like lost scenes from an old film reel. Led by songwriter and vocalist Rex Hooper, the band blends acoustic textures, harmony vocals and evocative imagery to create music that is rugged, atmospheric and timeless. With a strong emphasis on narrative and mood, their performative balances, warmth, humour, and stark western drama. Their work evokes wide open landscaped, moral reckonings and the quiet poetry of the American West - reimagined through a contemporary lens but faithful to its roots.
Kitty Craft

Kitty Craft

27 May 2026 - 30 May 2026

Debuting in 1994 with a self-titled cassette on Australia’s Toytown label and the IT’S STUPID EP in 1995, Pam’s early sound was low-tech and homespun. 1997’s I GOT RULEZ expanded her palette with keys and sampler, leading to 1998’s Beats & Breaks from the Flower Patch and 2000’s Catskills, both supported by Japanese tours and CD releases. After completing a third album around 2003/04, Pam put Kitty Craft into hibernation, shelving the record and focusing on visual art and her career as an art professor. In 2019, Kitty Craft quietly resurfaced, reissuing Flower Patch and Catskills digitally, followed by Lost Tapes - unreleased recordings from 2003. Amid a wider ’90s aesthetic revival and vinyl resurgence, a new generation embraced the project. Since 2022’s anthology LP MEW (1994-2004) and expanded reissues, Kitty Craft returned to the stage in 2024 after 20+ years, now touring again with US and international shows planned for 2026.

Superchunk & Oblivians

Superchunk & Oblivians

23 Jun 2026 - 29 Jun 2026

Superchunk + Oblivians (14+ under 16's with and adult) Superchunk After the shocking, and for many, demoralizing result of the 2016 election, “I didn’t buy the silver lining some were promoting that ‘well, at least art and music will be great now!’,” says Superchunk co-founder and frontman Mac McCaughan. “Obviously, any sane person would gladly trade four to eight years of terrible music for not having our country dismantled to satisfy the whims of a vengeful child and his enablers.” That said, good music and art still have a lot to say, and the urgency of current events gave Mac, Laura, Jim, and Jon the momentum to make something new sooner than later. “It would be strange to be in a band, at least our band, and make a record that completely ignored the surrounding circumstances that we live in and that our kids are going to grow up in.” Enter What a Time to Be Alive, Superchunk’s first album in over four years. It’s a record, says Mac, “about a pretty dire and depressing situation but hopefully not a record that is dire and depressing to listen to.” Indeed, like so much of Superchunk’s music in the band’s nearly three decades together, the songs on What a Time to Be Alive meet rage and anxiety head-on with the catharsis and exhilaration of loud punk fire and vulnerable pop energy. Like 2013’s I Hate Music, which focused on death, loss, and the role of music in an aging life, the new record brings spirit to the frontlines of pain—it’s as defiant as it is despairing, as much a call to arms as a throwing up of hands.
