Bow Wow Wow were created by Sex Pistols manager Malcolm McLaren in 1980 from members of the Adam and the Ants group along with vocalist Annabella Lwin. The Selecter is led by their iconic frontwoman Pauline Black and co-fronted by original member Arthur ‘Gaps’ Hendrickson. They are now re-united with original drummer Charley ‘Aitch’ Bainbridge who is back in the line-up. Pauline is one of very few women in the 2-Tone scene - often referred to as "the Queen of Ska" she was awarded an OBE in the in the 2022 New Year Honours. 2-Tone was a crucial multi-racial, multi-cultural explosion borne out of Coventry and the Midlands that remade British pop from 1979 onwards.

The Libertines are an English rock band, formed in London in 1997 by frontmen Carl Barât and Pete Doherty. The band, centred on the songwriting partnership of Barât and Doherty, has also included John Hassall, and Gary Powell for most of its recording career.

Public Service Broadcasting have been “teaching the lessons of the past through the music of the future” for more than a decade now. 2013’s debut album Inform – Educate – Entertain used archival samples from the British Film Institute as audio-portals to the Battle of Britain, the summit of Everest and beyond. Two years later, The Race For Space used similar methods to laud the superpowers’ rivalry and heroism in orbit and on the moon. In 2017, joined by voices including Manic Street Preachers’ James Dean Bradfield, Every Valley was a moving exploration of community and memory via the rise and fall of the British coal industry. Pointedly topical in its analyses, it reached number four on the UK charts. For their fourth album, Bright Magic (2021), the band take inspiration from Berlin: “It’s become an album about moving to Berlin to write an album about people who move to Berlin to write an album…”. Heralded as the band’s most varied and cerebral record, Bright Magic is an impressionist portrait of the city from the ground up, less linear and narrative than previous works, combining PSB’s use of electronics and surging guitar rock with sound samples collected in the city itself to realise the dreams of Berlin they’d constructed in their minds.

One of the most exhilarating bands to emerge over the past decade, Australian punk rockers Amyl and the Sniffers are back with new music, the first for the Melbourne foursome since their 2021 sophomore album, Comfort to Me.

Skunk Anansie’s performance at Meltdown crowns an incredible 25th anniversary, marked with their most recent release: 25LIVE@25 - the 25 greatest songs from their six studio albums. Their music slips effortlessly between the confrontational and the tender, the politically charged and the nakedly emotional, the upfront and attention-grabbing and the quiet and restrained. Releasing debut album Paranoid & Sunburnt in 1995, swiftly followed by Stoosh and Post-Orgasmic Chill, they sounded and looked like nothing that had come before them. And more than 25 years later, every other band is still playing catch-up. After an eight-year hiatus, they released three more acclaimed albums: Wonderlustre, Black Traffic and Anarchytecture. Few bands inhabit the stage like Skunk Anansie. Their exhilarating live shows are a hurricane of energy, noise and personality, an exhortation to become part of something much bigger that’s impossible to resist. Skunk Anansie have frequently been described as a political band. And they undeniably are - as their anthemic 1996 track ‘Yes, It’s Fcking Political’ pointed out: ‘Everything’s political.’ But politics are just one part of what they are: Skunk Anansie address love and rejection, anger and sadness, frustration and rage. The human emotions we all share. They are still fighting the good fight, taking no prisoners while they do it.

Stiff Little Fingers were formed in 1977 in Belfast, Ireland. Along with the likes of the Clash, Sex Pistols, The Jam, Buzzcocks, Undertones, Sham 69, Stranglers, et al – Stiff Little Fingers were at the forefront of the punk movement. They wrote initially about their own lives, growing up at the height of The Troubles in Northern Ireland, in songs like “Suspect Device” and “Wasted Life”. In November of ’77, they released those two songs on their own Rigid Digits label, and sent a copy to BBC Radio One DJ John Peel, who started playing it every night. These were the first of what became SLF’s signature style: lyrics that meld the personal and political, music that combines the energy of punk with infectious hooks, and delivery that rings of honesty and commitment. In 1979 they became the first band ever to hit the UK top 20 album charts on an independent label with their debut Inflammable Material. The album chronicles the band’s anger and frustration at “the Troubles” in Northern Ireland, and calls on youth to create their own reality. Over the years, their live shows continued to be special events of energy and power. Their studio albums demonstrate their passion and anger, each in its own way. In ’94 they released the Get a Life LP. The album helped renew interest in SLF just as newer bands that sited them as a major influence, such as Bad Religion, Sugar, Rancid and Therapy?, were coming to prominence. After many studio albums and countless tours, Stiff Little Fingers find themselves more in demand than ever.

In 2018, the band released their massive breakout track “Still Feel.” which has been RIAA certified Gold, Rocketed into Top 10 at Alt Radio and has over 275 million worldwide streams to date. One of the seminal figures of new wave, Adam Ant (born Stuart Leslie Goddard) had several distinct phases to his career. Initially, he explored a jagged, guitar-oriented post-punk with his group Adam and the Ants before giving way to a more pop-oriented, glam-tinged musical direction that brought him to the top of the charts. After that had run its course, he refashioned himself as a mainstream singer, which enabled him to stretch his career out for a couple of years. Once it seemed that his musical career had evaporated, he made an unexpected comeback in the early '90s as an adult alternative artist. During all this time, he recorded several great pop singles and had a surprisingly large impact on alternative rock.

AltHougH tHe artist born Quincy MattHew Hanley Has only been rapping since 2007, His bluntly cHarismatic presence on wax sHould’ve already put Him on your radar as one of rap’s emerging voices. After His new project Habits & Contradictions (#HnC) makes its way into your rotation tHougH, He’s sure to be a fixture. Born in Germany to a pair of military parents, Q spent tHe first tHree years of His life in Texas before His family eventually settled in Los Angeles. Like so many before Him, ScHoolboy’s L.A. experience provided a life-sHaping balance of sports, scHool, drugs and gangs. “I got tHe bad, tHe good, and tHe real bad,” says Q wHo earned His name from being known for going to best scHools, but also being Heavy in tHe streets. “I learned wHat to do, and How to get into trouble. A lot of tHe stuff I did, I regret. SHit I Hate talking about now because I’m over it. Stuff I regret. But it all made me wHo I am.” Growing up on tHe corner of 51st and Figueroa, ScHoolboy Q lived just 8 minutes away from tHe Staples Center wHere Kobe Bryant and tHe Lakers Hoisted tropHies every otHer year. For a wHile, Q looked to be on His way to a similar patH as He played football, baseball, basketball and even joined tHe swimming team in HigH scHool. Unable to resist tHe lure of His surroundings, He soon found Himself drowning in an abyss of slanging crack, sHootouts and jail time. “I didn’t know wHat I wanted to do witH myself until 2007,” He admits now. “THat’s wHen I first really started rapping. I tHougHt my sHit was tigHt, but it really wasn’t. But I found out tHat Had a passion for it tHat I didn’t know I Had.” Noting THe Notorious B.I.G., Nas and 50 Cent as His biggest influences, tHe California lifestyle can easily be Heard in His voice, slang and content. His ability to mesH tHe two allows a delivery tHat makes Him standout on every track He Hops on. “Everybody expects me to say 2Pac is my biggest influence because of wHere I’m from,” He says respectfully. “But He didn’t Have a big influence on my music. I always listened to a lot of East Coast rappers. I used to get in arguments all tHe time about wHo was better, Dogg Pound or Mobb Deep.” Q got His first cHance to start arguments over His music witH His 2007 debut mixtape, ScHoolboy Turned Hustla introduced to audiences on tHe West Coast. In HindsigHt, Q says He doesn’t tHink it was His best work. Regardless, tHe project generated enougH attention for growing imprint Top Dawg Entertainment to recruit Him to tHe label tHat was already Home to His future Black Hippy co-stars Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar and Ab-Soul. WHile His raps illustrated tHe life of a man wHo Had one foot in tHe street and tHe otHer in tHe studio, tHat lifestyle almost closed tHe door on His rap career before it even got off tHe ground. “Top Dawg almost kicked me out of TDE for being in tHe streets,” He says. “Ali sat me down to talk witH me to get my sHit togetHer. BC Camplight is an England-based American songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. His 2005 album Hide, Run Away was released by One Little Indian and featured Cynthia G. Mason on vocals. Camplight's follow-up, Blink of a Nihilist, was released in 2007, and his third album came out in January 2015 on Bella Union.

Marylou Vanina Mayniel, better known by her stage name Oklou, is a French musician from Poitiers. Her debut mixtape Galore was released in 2020, which was followed up by her debut album Choke Enough in 2025.

English Teacher are a British music group from Leeds and Lancashire playing indie rock, who formed in 2020. They consist of vocalist Lily Fontaine, guitarist Lewis Whiting, drummer Douglas Frost, and bassist Nicholas Eden. They won the Mercury Prize for their debut album This Could Be Texas, in 2024, a year which saw them play numerous international shows, including at Glastonbury Festival, and support IDLES on their US tour.

Kimberley Ann Deal is an American musician. She was the original bassist and co-vocalist in the alternative rock band the Pixies from 1986 to 1993 and 2004 to 2013. She is the frontwoman of the Breeders, which she formed in 1989.

Brothers Brían and Diarmuid Mac Gloinn grew up playing music together around their hometown of Carlow, a small town in the southeast of Ireland. After moving to Dublin in 2012, they quickly became a staple of the live music and session scene in Ireland, playing their own original songs as well as folk songs from Ireland, Scotland, England and America.

Mark Jacob Lenderman, also known as Jake Lenderman and MJ Lenderman, is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He has released three solo albums, and also plays with the alternative rock band Wednesday. He also has played drums for Indigo De Souza.

Hilltop Hoods is an Australian hip hop group that formed in 1994 in Blackwood, Adelaide, South Australia. They are regarded as pioneers of the "larrikin-like" style of Australian hip hop. The group was founded by Suffa and Pressure, who were joined by DJ Debris after fellow founder, DJ Next, left in 1999

Laurie Anderson \+ Special Guests Laurie Anderson will play a special performance of material old and new - from her debut album Big Science, to her latest recordings with the New York City band SexMob (joining her on-stage) Composer, writer, director, visual artist and vocalist, Laurie Anderson, has created ground-breaking works that span the worlds of art, theatre, experimental music, and technology. Her recording career, launched by Big Science in 1981 includes the soundtrack to her feature film Home of the Brave and Life on a String. Anderson's live shows range from simple spoken word to elaborate multi-media stage performances such as Songs and Stories for Moby Dick. In 2002, Anderson was appointed the first artist-in-residence of NASA, culminating in her 2004 touring solo performance The End of the Moon. In 2010, a retrospective of her visual and installation work opened in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The icy, post-punk-inspired synth pop of Nation of Language is the creation of Ian Devaney, who was inspired by the early work of Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark. Taking the project in its own refined, melancholy direction, he and his bandmates presented Nation of Language's full-length debut, Introduction, Presence, in 2020. The project peppered in earlier Krautrock and experimental electronic influences a year later on A Way Forward.

New Zealand four-piece The Beths channel their longtime friendship into high-energy guitar pop with a smart lyrical bite. Guitarist, lead vocalist, and primary songwriter Elizabeth Stokes and guitarist Jonathan Pearce attended high school together before meeting up with longtime mates bassist Benjamin Sinclair and drummer Ivan Luketina-Johnston at the University of Auckland, where all four studied jazz. After gigging together in a variety of configurations, the quartet came together for a project exploring the pop and rock sounds of their youth. Everything clicked, and The Beths were born.

DYSTINCT was born in Antwerp in 1998 with the name Iliass Mansouri. His father was a singer and as a child, DYSTINCT often accompanied him to his performances. His passion for music grew, but the singer struggled to talk freely about his ambitions because his parents did not agree with his career choice. Nevertheless, DYSTINCT’s progressive personality ensured that, at the age of 14, he continued to develop his musical talents professionally. This hard work was soon rewarded, his debut single “No Ring Ring” has over 3 million views on YouTube and over 4 million streams on Spotify. His sound is best described as urban with Arabic fusion elements. He has previously worked with names like Chawki (Morocco), Franglish (France), F1rstman (The Netherlands), DJ Leska (France), Zefanio (The Netherlands) and many others. DYSTINCT is currently working on his debut album which will be released soon.

18 year old singer and songwriter, David Burke better known by his stage name d4vd, is known to be the most versatile up-and-coming artists of 2022 hailing from Queens, New York. Despite recording his most viral songs on just his iPhone, he’s taken over the internet with his gratifying voice, somber lyrics, and vintage production that was poised to blow up. d4vd began releasing music on streaming platforms in November, 2021. In the early stages of David’s music career, he would release rap and indie songs along with a drill mixtape named “The Hoodstar Diary.” d4vd often experiments with his sound, making songs with genres like Indie, RnB, Hip-Hop, and Rock.
