The main attraction every year is of course the star guests, and we always endeavour to bring you a variety of exciting names from movies, tv, streaming, gaming, anime and sports entertainment. In previous years Comic Con Scotland has been proud to host the likes of Ewan McGregor, Christopher Lloyd, Jean Claude Van Damme, The Undertaker, Matt Smith, Ian Somerhalder and Alicia Silverstone. We’re all a fan of something, and Comic Con Scotland is the best place to celebrate all things pop culture. As well as having the chance to meet your heroes, get an item signed or a photo, many guests will also appear live on stage so you’ll get to hear directly about their new projects and previous roles. Part agricultural show, part food festival, part family fun day out, with everything from motor, equine and craft programmes to food and drink, live music, cookery demonstrations and children's activities. The 2025 Show will feature the Grand Parade of prize-winning cattle, a chance to meet some of the country's major food producers at Scotland's Larder, a display from top-class riders in the showjumping arena, and visit one of the UK's biggest displays of agricultural machinery.

The Scottish Smallholder Festival is Scotland’s national smallholding show, and is the leading place where smallholders, small farmers / producers, growers and everyone interested in a sustainable way of life come to share, learn, show, buy and be inspired. Now in its 14th year, the festival is a celebration of the smallholder – it provides an opportunity for smallholders and growers at the end of the season to celebrate a successful year of production, to gather ideas for next year, and is a chance for all to to display their products and benchmark their success against other small producers. It also allows those who are interested in rural life and farming to get a close up view of small scale farming, introducing them to skills and livestock they would not normally encounter, to see what can be achieved in a small scale farming environment.
