Fewi Royal Opera House Tour - Covent Garden
We will go behind the scenes which are normally off-limits to the general public. You will see the vast staging, workshops, rehearsal studios, costumes, lighting and end up in the theatre looking down on the stage. It is a working area and we will encounter staff going about their business. There are stairs in places so wear sensible shoes to be comfortable. Make your own way to Covent Garden and meet inside the Royal Opera House on the ground floor in front of the complimentary cloakroom which is just beyond the caf. The tour starts at 10.45 and lasts for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. The facilities at ROH are very good and you can purchase refreshments in the caf or visit Covent Garden. The afternoon is yours to explore the area and make your own way home.
