9 Apr 2026 - 31 Oct 2026

Bound together by lifelong friendship and shared experience for more than 25 years, the Fisherman’s Friends have met on the Platt (harbour) in their native Port Isaac to raise money for charity, singing the traditional songs of the sea handed down to them by their forefathers. In 2010 they signed a major record deal and their album Port Isaac’s Fisherman’s Friends went gold as they became the first traditional folk act to land a UK top ten album. Since then they’ve been the subject of an ITV documentary, released the hit albums One and All and Proper Job and played to hundreds of thousands of fans at home and abroad. The Fisherman’s Friends have been widely credited with starting the revival of interest in shanty-style choral singing but a cornerstone of their success has been their constantly evolving and expanding repertoire.

11 Jun 2026 - 31 Oct 2026

“They’ve lasted because they are brilliant” Radio 2 Brothers Patrick and Gregory Kane formed Hue and Cry in the ’80s and the duo made a huge impact with the release of their debut album Seduced and Abandoned (1987) which featured their first top ten single Labour of Love. The follow up album Remote continued the trend and produced the huge hits Looking for Linda and Violently. Albums like Stars Crash Down, Showtime and Jazz Not Jazz ensured Hue and Cry’s continued successful run through the ’90s, whilst their 2005 appearances as finalists on ITV’s primetime show Hit Me Baby One More Time, featuring their version of Beyonce’s Crazy In Love, thrust the band firmly back into the mainstream limelight. A number of successful album releases and accompanying live appearances followed which included Open Soul (2008), Xmasday (2009), Bitter Suite Again (2010), Hot Wire (2012), Remote: Major to Minor (2014), September Songs (2015), Pocketful of Stones (2017). To date Hue and Cry have sold in excess of two million records worldwide. In 2019, Hue and Cry sold out their Summer Nights at the Bandstand show at Glasgow’s Kelvingrove park within forty-eight hours and finished the year by playing live all over the UK. With the global pandemic bringing live touring to a halt during 2020/21, Hue and Cry introduced their pioneering Live from Lockdown streaming shows which were broadcast live from the band’s Glasgow based studio and viewed online by thousands of fans around the world. A collection of their favourite tracks from these shows was released as a Best of Lockdown album (2022). Hue and Cry have sold tens of thousands of concert tickets worldwide. As well as performing alongside some of the greatest artists in music history – appearing with U2, James Brown, Madonna, Al Green and Van Morrison to name but a few – the band have undertaken a multitude of their own headline tours and made numerous festival appearances. After extensive touring, the band were encouraged, by audience reactions, to further experiment with ever longer compositions and develop their ability to incorporate strong narratives. This, in turn, allowed frontman Peter Gabriel more opportunity to indulge in the theatrics which helped to raise the band’s profile. Foxtrot was critically acclaimed and became the first Genesis album to make the UK album charts. Katherine Priddy

Katherine Priddy

16 Apr 2026 - 9 May 2026

Over the past three years, Priddy has quietly been building a growing following, captivating audiences around the UK with her haunting vocals, rich harmonies, distinctive finger picking guitar style and enchanting songs whose lyrics celebrate her life-long love affair with literature and poetry. She has been championed by BBC Radio 2 and BBC 6 Music and her debut EP 'Wolf' was chosen by Richard Thompson as his Best Thing I've Heard All Year in MOJO Magazine in 2018. With the buzz around her building, Priddy is making her mark in 2021 with the release of an eagerly-anticipated debut album on Navigator Records, The Eternal Rocks Beneath, which is set to bring her to even wider notice. The 10 self-penned tracks are delivered with a maturity and depth that belie the fact that this is her first full length release. At times tender, at times carrying a darker edge, the stories she weaves are transporting. Not surprising then that Nick Drake, John Martyn, Tunng and Scott Matthews are amongst her many influences. It has already received an amazing response from radio and press, including a 4 star review from The Observer, which described it as 'an accomplished set of original songs delivered in a breathtaking voice'. Meanwhile, Folk Radio declared it 'A debut of true substance, it's like searching for a simple shelter and stumbling upon a diamond mine'. The album was recorded over a 2-year period at Rebellious Jukebox studios, a little basement studio hidden beneath inner-city Birmingham and presided over by masterful producer Simon Weaver. The ensemble cast of musicians, including a sweeping string section, occasionally cut through by raw electric guitar and drums, as well as Richard March (Pop Will Eat Itself) on double bass and Mikey Kenny on fiddle, enhance Priddy's command of melody and lyricism and provide the perfect backdrop for the feelings of nostalgia and timelessness that underpin the record. Having already racked up some serious air play from the likes of Tom Robinson, Guy Garvey, Cerys Matthews, Radcliffe & Maconie, Gideon Coe, Steve Lamacq and Janice Long, as well as supported the likes of Richard Thompson & The Chieftains and playing well-earned spots at festivals and sell-out headline shows around the country, Priddy is a fast-rising star on the scene. The Eternal Rocks Beneath is poised to cement the place of this determined young woman in the folk world and beyond.

Walter Trout and Dan Patlansky

Walter Trout and Dan Patlansky

2 Oct 2026 - 18 Oct 2026

Walter Trout's backstory is a page-turner you won't want to put down. Five decades in the making; it is equal parts thriller, romance, suspense and horror. There are musical fireworks, critical acclaim and fists-aloft triumph, offset by wilderness years and brushes with the jaws of narcotic oblivion. There are feted early stints as gunslinger in bands from John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers to Canned Heat, and the solo career that’s still blazing a quarter-century later. The veteran bluesman has seen and done it all - plays earth shattering blues rock music. In only a little over a decade, Dan Patlansky has become one of the busiest and most respected blues artists to ever come out of South Africa. After his debut album which garnered Dan a reputation as a Blues-phenomenon, and his subsequent “Readers Choice” vote as “Best Blues Guitarist in Southern Africa”, Dan’s second album was released by EMI on the famed Blue Note label. Dan is one of the only South Africans to ever achieve “Blue Note” status and one of only six Fender endorsed guitarists in South Africa. Dan Patlansky, #1 Blues Rock Album 2016 by Blues Rock Review.

Imagine marrying the 21st century party vibe of Miley Cyrus or the minimalist angst of Radiohead with the crackly warmth of a vintage 78 or the plunger-muted barrelhouse howl of a forgotten Kansas City jazzman. Bradlee's choice of material ranges from the '80s hard rock of Guns N' Roses to hits as recent as Taylor Swift's controversial "Look What You Made Me Do." They're rendered by a rotating cast of musicians and singers in fashions that date back to a time when Axl, Slash and T-Swift's parents had yet to be born - a time of street corner harmonies and torch singers, blues belters and golden-voiced crooners.

Ward Thomas

Ward Thomas

21 Jun 2026 - 25 Sept 2026

Ward Thomas could tell that change was afoot from the moment they wrote Cartwheels, now the punch-to-the-stomach title track of their sensational second album. Straight away the sisters knew the song was special. What they didn’t know was that their second album ‘Cartwheels’ would sail to #1 on the UK Album Chart on release making them the first ever UK country act to do so. Cartwheels the album, as you might guess, contains a cartwheel of emotions and each song suggested its own sound. “Lyrically, it was much more grown-up than anything on our debut. Sonically, it was a move away from country to lots of other influences we grew up with – Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, KT Tunstall, some Kelly Clarkson, Taylor Swift’s Red album. We’re still influenced by country, we still adore the Dixie Chicks and Kacey Musgraves, but this isn’t just a country album.” In fact, the title track is among several on the album to shrug off country entirely, although the 22 year old twins’ beguiling harmonies remain their calling card. Lose Me is a fast-paced pop song that rocks out. The glorious Almost Easy adds strings and electronics to the mix. Bewitching ballad Who I’m Not is set to shimmering orchestration. Boisterous lead single Carry You Home is simply a storming pop song. The biggest change, however, was that the teenagers became adults. With their co-writers, they were four young women, sitting in a room, pouring their hearts out. They didn’t think in terms of genre, but of stories, emotions and coping mechanisms. They wrote about situations they had either experienced themselves or seen their friends go through. In extraordinary couplets they captured everything from deep friendship to deep despair, from loneliness and heartbreak to the joy of moving on, from feeling like a failure to the pleasure of heading to the hills to de-stress.

Centenary - a celebration of the 1926 General Strike
Community. Entertainment. Believe in a fairer world. May 4, 2026, will mark the 100th anniversary of the first full day of the 1926 General Strike – the biggest rupture in British society since the English Civil War. Millions of workers and their families withdrew their labour, challenging the British state and the existence of the Establishment. Rebecca Ferguson

Rebecca Ferguson

10 Apr 2026 - 18 Jul 2026

Vocalist celebrated for her soulful voice and powerful songwriting “Our generation’s songbird,” was what Nicole Scherzinger called Rebecca Ferguson during her X Factor days. Britain fell in love with Ferguson’s voice during the seventh season of the competition show, during which the then 24-year-old singer won hearts with her story of single motherhood and passionate love of music. Shortly after her time on The X Factor, Ferguson released her debut album, Heaven. It was received with universal acclaim from critics, with no publication giving it less than four stars, and was certified platinum in the UK. In early 2012, Ferguson departed on her first headline tour, which sold out across the UK and Ireland. Ferguson’s sophomore album, Freedom, arrived in December 2013. The album saw Ferguson making a departure from her soul-influenced sound in favour of R&B-tinged, dance-friendly tracks. Her next full-length project, Lady Sings The Blues, was even bolder departure from her previous work. It saw Ferguson reimagine Billie Holiday’s 1956 record of the same name, covering 17 songs previously performed by Holiday. Her fourth studio album, Superwoman, was released in 2016. In 2023, Ferguson announced the upcoming release of Heaven – Part 2, her first full-length album in seven years. She explained on social media that the album would be her last, marking her retirement from the music industry.
The Blow Monkeys

The Blow Monkeys

10 Sept 2026 - 17 Oct 2026

With hits like ‘Digging Your Scene’ and ‘It Doesn’t Have To Be This Way’, The Blow Monkeys epitomised the glamour of mid-80s pop at its most graceful and sophisticated. In the band’s frontman Robert Howard (aka Dr. Robert), they possessed a tall, charismatic singer who was both camera-friendly and clever, who appeared to be just as much at ease on the catwalk that is pop’s conveyor belt as he was penning witty, incisive songs. While quite clearly Robert’s band, though, the Blow Monkeys were also gifted three immensely talented musicians in bassist Mick Anker (he of the trademark bowler hat), saxophonist Neville Henry and drummer Tony Kiley. Behind the band’s stylish veneer lay something else, which became increasingly apparent from Robert’s lyrics. While some of the Smash Hits generation avoided politics with a capital P, The Blow Monkeys openly criticised the policies of the Conservative government, railing against social injustices and adopting an openly left-of-centre stance on issues of the day. From openly endorsing the gay community “Digging Your Scene” to an outright attack on Margaret Thatcher ‘Celebrate (The Day After You)’ – a duet with the late, great Curtis Mayfield, The Blow Monkeys were always the thinking person’s pop group. As the 1980s progressed, so too did the band’s musical style, from a sound once dubbed “jazz punk” by Robert to a more soulful, jazzy style and an ever-increasing adoption of dance music. The Blow Monkeys of their rare, indie debut single ‘Live Today Love Tomorrow’ (recorded on a shoestring in 1981) would be barely recognisable to those who bought the Balearic remix of ‘La Passionara’ from 1990. And yet a soulful, spiritually uplifting strain has continued to run through their music – and, indeed, that of Robert’s solo recordings – to this day.

12 Jul 2026 - 15 Aug 2026

Soft light. Gentle music. Just you and the mat. A teacher leads the practice. A live musician shapes the mood. Together, they create a morning that’s calm without being sleepy, energising without being intense. An hour where your body loosens, your mind steadies, and you don’t need to touch your toes to feel at home. Every session brings a new pairing. A different pace. But the setting? Always extraordinary. Light-filled windows. The Tyne drifting by. Sun salutations that actually meet the morning. A quiet invitation to start your day with intention. No pressure. Just presence.
