He currently tours as a pop artist, while also performing for over two decades with some of the world’s greatest symphony orchestras. Folds, who served for eight years as the first ever Artistic Advisor to the National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, stepped down from his post when Donald Trump announced his takeover of the Center. Just days before the US presidential election, Folds recorded two sold out performances with the NSO which he released as a live album this summer which debuted at the top of the Billboard classical and classical crossover charts. A New York Times Best Selling author, Ben also creates new music for film, tv and theatre, including original songs for an ongoing series of animated Peanuts specials on Apple TV. Ben Fold's Paper Airplane Request Tour is a unique concert format during which the audience is invited to write their favourite Folds song requests on paper, fold them into airplanes, and launch them toward the stage. The concert includes two halves, separated by a short intermission. In the first half, Folds will perform a standard setlist. In the second half, he’ll perform songs requested via paper airplanes launched onto the stage. Those attending are encouraged to bring their pre-made paper airplanes to the show, or they are welcome to use paper and pens made available at the merchandise table to make their own paper airplanes on site.

The original Australian ABBA Homage has amassed over 5,800 shows in 78 countries in 39 years. Rod Stephen had previously been working in metallurgical research when at the age of 29 and inspired by legendary New Zealand band Split Enz’s musicianship and theatrics opted for a career change to create a new concept by revisiting the music and fashion of the 1970s. Rod had originally considered basing a nostalgic show on one of three all time top bands, The Beatles, Queen and ABBA but believing that the latter globally encapsulated all that was good (and maybe some not so good?) about the 1970s decided ABBA was ideal to focus his efforts on. After countless auditions and months of rehearsals and studying music and videos all Rod then needed was to devise a great show format to go with the name…and then the BJÖRN AGAIN show was ready to rock and roll !!! Following an extraordinary year that has taken them from muddy fields and tractor cabs to one of the biggest stages on British television, The Hawkstone Farmers’ Choir will next embark on a major UK headline tour in March and April 2027. The tour will see them perform their own original music alongside the soaring, emotionally charged arrangements that have become their trademark. The Hawkstone Farmers Choir began with a simple call-out from Jeremy Clarkson, looking for farmers to sing on a Hawkstone beer advert. More than 40 farmers and agricultural workers came together, many accustomed to spending their working lives alone in tractors, barns and fields and something unexpected happened. What began as a group of strangers singing together became something far bigger. Under the musical direction of Simon Gwilliam and Lizzie Deane, the choir entered the 19th series of Britain’s Got Talent, delivering a hugely emotional audition performance of Elbow’s 'One Day Like This' , moving the audience and judges to tears. Then, in May 2026, they did something no choir had achieved before. A Liverpool-born multi-instrumentalist, he’s worked with Cast and The La’s over the years and he’s been steadily building his own following. Haydn’s ‘Emperor’quartet takes its name from a theme that later became the German national anthem. At its heart is a set of variations - simple, noble, and quietly powerful. The 21st Century has seen a number of new honours for Don McLean and his music. Iona College conferred an honorary doctorate on Don in 2001 and, in February 2002, "American Pie" was finally inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. In 2004 Don McLean was inaugurated into the National Academy of Popular Music Songwriters' Hall of Fame. The ceremony took place on June 10th, 2004 in New York City and Don's award was presented by Garth Brooks, who paid a glowing tribute. In 2007 Don McLean shared his professional life story in Alan Howard's 420-page biography ("The Don McLean Story: Killing Us Softly With His Songs") and hit the international charts with the CD/DVD issue, "The Legendary Don McLean". As of 2008, Don is busy touring the world all over again after signing with The Asgard Agency, Europe's largest music agent and promoter. Tours of UK, Ireland and Australia were followed by concerts in South Korea and Hong Kong in May 2008 and a three-week tour of mainland Europe is scheduled for October.

In today's fast-paced mid-apocalyptic world it can feel like a waste of time to speak about time at all. Why dwell on the past when we could just live in the present because the future won't shut up about how bad it's going to be? But with This Is The Kit, the pseudonym of songwriter / banjo strummer / pinhole camera lover / Winchester UK born Paris dweller Kate Stables, we're going to have to give time just a modicum of consideration. Because not only is Kate still here and making albums of cataclysmic honesty and welcoming tonal embraces, they are continuing to grow, which is probably the only smart way to move forward through time. The sleeve tells you so much about the process. It’s a picture of a lone figure. Suited up and immersed in interplanetary protective gear, he walks out across unmapped terrain. In the distance, a mountain range towers over the roughly gridded sand he’s striding. This is very much a solo mission – giant steps into the unknown. Inside the helmet, there’s all the uncertainty and madness that such a pursuit brings. That sleeve (designed, as ever, with Mark Farrow), comes wrapped around And Nothing Hurt - Spiritualized’s eighth album, the follow up to 2012’s Sweet Heart, Sweet Light. From the opening lullaby of A Perfect Miracle through to the fading Morse Code at the close of Sail on Through, it painstakingly wraps layer upon layer of gloriously transcendent sound together to create a mesmerizing and cinematic collection of songs. There are points – the thunderous climax of On the Sunshine; the spectral waltz of The Prize; the towering guitar solo on I’m Your Man – where the waves of blissful noise are almost overwhelming, where one can imagine the studio’s speakers vibrating themselves off of the walls. Which is an incredible feat when you discover that the album was conceived and recorded almost entirely by one man – Jason Pierce, AKA J.Spaceman - in an upstairs room in his east London home. Sat in an edit suite in Whitechapel a month or so after finishing recording, Jason talks honestly about the painstaking, frustrating process of creating And Nothing Hurt.

Now, the legendary DJ will be taking his Sounds Of The 60s show on the road, for a UK tour celebrating the music of this much-loved decade. Featuring stories and songs from perhaps the most iconic 10 years in music, fashion and popular culture, the Sounds Of The 60s tour will bring to life memories of the era. The Sounds Of The 60s All-Star Band and singers will perform classic hits from the likes of Diana Ross and The Supremes, The Everly Brothers, Elvis, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Beach Boys, The Drifters, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, and many more. With this year marking the 60th anniversary of his first broadcast on pirate radio station Radio Caroline South in 1964, Tony Blackburn is remembered as a defining voice of the 1960s. His incredible career has seen him present on BBC Radio 1, Top of the Pops, and since 2017 he has presented Sounds of the 60s on Radio 2, a hugely popular show on BBC Radio. A champion in particular of soul music throughout the 60s, Tony has been recognised with 37 awards to his name including two Gold Awards for Outstanding Contribution to Radio, becoming the first person in history to receive two of these lifetime achievement awards. Tony is also recognised for becoming the first King of the Jungle in the original series of ITV’s I’m A Celebrity – Get Me Out Of Here.
