Programme (All Chopin) Ballade No. 1 Scherzo no 1 Berceuse Harp Study Fantasy Impromptu Heroic Polonaise Nocturne in E flat major In 2016 Warren Mailley-Smith became the first British pianist to perform Chopin's complete works for solo piano from memory in a series of 11 recitals at St John's Smith Square. Hailed by the critics as an "epic achievement", Mailley-Smith will repeat the series at several venues in 2023-4. He has given acclaimed solo recitals at The Wigmore Hall, Carnegie Hall and has performed for the British Royal Family on numerous occasions. One of the busiest concert pianists of his generation and gave over 100 solo performances in the last year.

He made waves in the music world in 2015 through his extraordinary achievement of performing the complete solo works of Chopin from memory. His career has taken him all over the world, with solo performances in Australia, Europe and tours in China and the USA. He has given acclaimed solo recitals at The Wigmore Hall, Carnegie Hall and has performed for the British Royal Family on numerous occasions. One of the busiest concert pianists of his generation and gave over 100 solo performances last year. Bach The Goldberg Variations About the Artist Wirral born pianist Simon Watterton has given recitals as soloist and chamber musician all across the world. In recent years he has performed in China, Canada, the USA, Sweden and Italy as well as extensively in the UK and Republic of Ireland. He made his concerto debut at Londons Cadogan Hall and was featured as a Rising Star in International Piano Magazine at the time of a cycle he gave of all the Beethoven piano sonatas in London. He has appeared at the Wigmore Hall, St Johns, Smith Square and the Purcell Room, as well as performing live on Radio 3s InTune and for Classic FM. As chamber musician he has made two visits on a collaborative piano internship to the Banff Centre, Canada, and has worked with a number of artists including his wife, Irish violinist Anna Cashell, cellist Raphael Wallfisch and violinist Daniel Rohn. In addition to this his piano trio have also performed extensively in the UK to critical acclaim.

Featuring Andrew Huggan (cello) Programme Bach - Cello Suite No. 1 Bach - Cello Suite No. 2 Bach - Cello Suite No. 3 About the Artist Scottish cellist Andrew Huggan began his musical career at the age of nine under the tuition of Angela Welsh. After studying with Angela Welsh for several years Andrew gained a place at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama Junior department, under the tutelage of Timothy Paxton. Andrew continued his studies at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (formerly RSAMD) gaining his BMus (hons) with Rudi De Groote and baroque cello under Alison McGillivray.Since leaving the RCS Andrew has performed with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony orchestra, Scottish Philharmonic, Scottish Concert and Scottish Festival orchestras, British Philharmonic orchestra, Scottish Ballet and in 2010/11 was awarded an apprenticeship with Scottish Opera, whom he now plays with on a regular basis. His love for opera has also seen him tour with opera companies such as Noise Opera and Opera Bohemia. As a Baroque player he has had the opportunity to play with the Dunedin Consort and for the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestras Club Concerts. An enthusiast of contemporary music Andrew is a member of The Glasgow New Music Expedition.Andrews passion for theatre has seen him tour internationally performing with ensembles and as a soloist across Europe, USA, Canada, China and Oman. 2018 saw Andrews debut at the Lincoln Centre, New York. His work in the theatre also includes recordings for The National Theatre of Scotland and for renowned dancer and choreographer Marc Brew.Aside from his busy freelance career Andrew holds the post of Part-time lecturer at the RCS.
