Scala

Designed by H Courtney Constantine the Kings Cross Cinema first opened its doors in 1920. Renamed Scala in 1981 it soon became the home of London's coolest cult cinema club, unfortunately after losing a court case over screening Stanley Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange (which was still banned at the time) the cinema was forced to close in 1993. After a complete refurbishment it reopened in 1999 as a club and gig space in the heart of London. Boasting three bars, two dancefloors and a stage with regular club nights and an impressive line-up of live music. Everyone from Coldplay and Foo Fighters to Robbie Williams and Dido have since graced the stage at Scala. Please note all shows at Scala are 18+ unless otherwise stated. Scala is three minutes walk from Kings Cross St Pancreas train station; bus numbers 30, 73, 214, 10, 17, 45, 46, 63, 91 and 259 all stop near the venue.

This special two-show evening will feature a one-of-a-kind performance of their 'In Dub' body of work alongside a notoriously destructive, signature show. Reflecting on the mystique surrounding their 1997 performance, Justin Broadrick shares, “There’s only ever been one real advertised dub show, and it was in 1997 in London, just after the release of 'Love and Hate in Dub'. Unfortunately, that night was ill-fated due to the backing tape machine blowing up at soundcheck. The night was cobbled together last minute and somehow just about worked. Now, for the first time ever since then, GODFLESH will be presented in dub, live on stage, with me taking to live dub mixing from the stage, in tandem with vocals and guitar." Grandbrothers

Grandbrothers

26 Feb 2026 - 26 Feb 2026

Erol Sarp and Lukas Vogel met while studying audio and video engineering in Düsseldorf. The two started to work on a project that combined both sarp’s piano skills and vogel’s passion for programming and mechanical apparatus. And that’s when grandbrothers started. The concept has been the same since day one: how far can you go by using only one single instrument? That’s why every single sound you hear on any grandbrothers track comes from the same source: the grand piano. Limiting themselves has been pushing the creative boundaries of sarp and vogel for more than a decade now and the two are sure that there’s much more to be found, written, recorded and performed.Apart from working in the studio to find new ways of creating sounds with their very unique approach, touring and performing live is a totally different thrill. A Grandbrothers show is an audio-visual experience for both the performers and the audience. Their unseen "four-handed approach" and the emotional, melodic and even danceable merge of analogue and electronic sounds allowed Grandbrothers to perform on stages, clubs and philharmonic halls all across Europe ever since.

Cuco

Cuco

4 Feb 2026 - 4 Feb 2026

(May 9, 2025) - Cuco releases new album Ridin' via Interscope Records. Ridin’ navigates themes of heartbreak, joy, and personal history while embracing moments of sweet romance resulting in Cuco’s most ambitious and emotionally resonant work to date. The album follows Cuco’s On The Radar session of album track “Walk The Way” that went live earlier this week. Ridin’ also includes previous singles “Para Ti,” a song about unrequited love, “Phases,” “ICNBYH” and "My 45" featuring Jean Carter, which honor the classic soul sounds that have influenced Cuco's musical journey while reflecting elements of his Chicano heritage. Cuco shares, “You can’t do soul unless you love it unless you put in the time,” he says. “I have elevated my sound and my voice enough now that I can move away from the abstraction of synthesizers and just rely on my vocals, melodies, and moods.” Ridin’ features production from Tom Brenneck (Bruno Mars, Amy Winehouse). Brenneck, known for his guitar work with Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings, Menahan Street Band, and contributions to Amy Winehouse's Back to Black, brings his vintage-meets-contemporary approach to the production. Together, Cuco and Brenneck craft an organic sound, with Cuco elevating his dreamy vocals an octave higher for a rich neo-falsetto. The presence of Los Angeles car culture is another consistent theme throughout the record and is embedded in the flow of the album. Cuco shares, "Everyone listens to music while driving-it's integral to your commute regardless of mood. You're moving through life's non-linear journey." Presented by Live Nation. This is a 16+ event

Vower

Vower

16 Nov 2025 - 22 Nov 2025

Whether through friendship and camaraderie or adoration and respect, when you make a vow, you put your heart and soul into everything that encompasses. There is no in-between. This is a sentiment Rabea Massaad, Josh Mckeown, Rory McLean, Joe Gosney and Liam Kearley found themselves drawn to when fate brought them together. With over a decade of touring, working, and becoming acquainted with one another in some way, shape, or form during their time in Toska, Palm Reader and Black Peaks, respectively, the last few years have allowed them to harness their experience and passion in a way they never thought they would be able to before. The result is Vower, a project that serves as a new form of expression within heavy music for its five members. It is a vessel where nothing is impossible, and everything feels fun, fresh and incredibly fulfilling. Serving as a light through the darkness as much as a new close-knit community to confide in, it has become a platform for remembering why they fell in love with crafting such gargantuan sounds in the first place.

Heartworms

Heartworms

7 Dec 2025 - 8 Dec 2025

Dystopian. That’s the first adjective anyone ever used to describe south London auteur Heartworms, after the project was brought to life by its architect Jojo. Heartworms is the conduit for Jojo’s entire identity – her laying down a purposefully discomforting challenge to the outside world but also affirming her own self and passions (Jojo has just taken a volunteering role at The Royal Air Force Museum in Hendon) and the poetry of Pound, Thomas, and Keats. Backed by a full live band, Heartworms’ performances are a masterclass in poise. Jojo describes the theatre brought to her shows - punctuated by her intense stare - as a kick back against preconceived notions of ‘smallness’ and fragility as a female musician. On stage, her projection is the very antithesis: we see an artist who is big, powerful, in total control. Uniformity plays a huge role in all things Heartworms, too. The metronomic music and meticulous fashion of bands like Interpol and Kraftwerk greatly inspires Jojo, as does PJ Harvey, whose dark sense of humour and lyrical dexterity permeates Heartworms’ songwriting.

Strandz

Strandz

15 Nov 2025 - 4 Dec 2025

At the age of 14, Strandz got a job in a local music studio in Croydon, using his wages to pay for his own studio time. Strandz learnt to engineer and in 2015 he met the likes of Stormzy & Ruff Squad. This dedication saw him learn to play the piano for his BRIT School audition and secure a spot. Strandz’s creative hot streak kicked off with a string of singles in 2020. He carved out a sound that channels the luxurious feel of ‘00s hip-hop and R&B, but refreshes it with experimental flourishes and contemporary production techniques. Strandz was born in Hamburg to a German mother and a Nigerian father. The family moved to Lagos and then to Nnobi, a village in South Nigeria. His close family then relocated to South London with little money. Strandz was struck by the social divisions created by the British class system, a sharp contrast to the nurturing community spirit he experienced in Nigeria. Strandz’ sound and passion for music stems from a truly eclectic sonic upbringing (the likes of Fela Kuti, Quincy Jones, Feist), whilst being deeply inspired by what existed across the pond on the east coast in the 90s & 2000s. Over the last two years Strandz has not stopped and was brought out by the likes of Digga D at Glastonbury Festival (as well as at The Royal Albert Hall, supported Wu-Tang Clan & Nas and Tion Wayne at Reading & Leeds - wowing fans, naturally, with his own sets at both festivals. He featured on the soundtrack for the latest season of Netflix’s Top Boy, sat front row at MAINS’ debut London Fashion Week show by personal invitation from Skepta as well as attending shows by Labrum, Robyn Lynch & Saul Nash. The Southern River Band

The Southern River Band

10 Feb 2026 - 15 Feb 2026

In a world where starting a biography with ‘In a world where’ is common practice, The Southern River Band are apparently no different. They say you’re only as good as your last, and whoever ‘they’ may be, they’re dead right. The Southern River Band epitomise everything about that statement. Be it a life changing live show, soundtrack-to-the-rest-of-your-life song, cinematic masterpiece video, anything, no, everything - they never fail to raise their own bar. The band from Thornlie (Where? Exactly) spent their 2019 touring Australia, gigging relentlessly, taking their Mega Rock Party to anywhere with a stage and a PA. Along with earning their keep at being one of the best live acts in Australia, the band released their sophomore record ‘Rumour & Innuendo’ to rave reviews from fans and critics alike. Rocket first formed in 2021, convening in an unmarked 8 x 11 practice space in Los Angeles, California. You wouldnt know it walking past, but inside was the beginning of something special. The four members of the band, Alithea Tuttle (Bass, Vocals), Baron Rinzler (Guitar), Cooper Ladomade (Drums) and Desi Scaglione (Guitar) have all known each other for a very long time, a few attending preschool together, and the full quartet connecting during highschool. Having all grown up in Los Angeles, they were exposed to the citys musical influences at a very young age, attending shows, frequenting record stores, and slowly becoming embedded in the sprawling DIY scene.

Nadia Loren

Nadia Loren

12 Nov 2025 - 12 Nov 2025

Nadia Loren is a sharp, emotionally intelligent new voice capturing the inner lives of teenagers across the globe. Young, fearless, and confessional, she stands out in today’s pop landscape as someone who can blend emotional depth with commercial appeal. Her sound is direct and melodic, but what truly sets Nadia apart is the literary quality of her lyrics. She writes with the intimacy of a diary and the insight of a screenwriter, elevating the everyday experience of a teenager into cinematic melodrama. While there’s no direct comparison, fans of Lorde, Olivia Rodrigo, Chappell Roan, and Taylor Swift will find much to love in Nadia’s world. Nadia’s debut EP is rooted in first-person storytelling-songs that explore the intricacies of relationships with startling honesty, from the highs of new love to the ache of heartbreak and emotional disconnection. Her lyrical depth, combined with undeniable pop sensibilities, positions her as a rare artist who can connect simultaneously with teen and tween listeners and a more introspective Uni-age crowd.
