The Scarborough Fair - Scarborough Art
Scarborough Art is an exciting event taking place between Saturday 5 July and Sunday 3 August 2025 at various venues across Scarborough town centre and beyond. It is an opportunity to visit different places and spaces around the area and discover work from across the creative community. Artwork of a wide range of media will be showcased from paintings and sculpture to photography and printmaking. This event is perfect for art lovers of all ages to enjoy a day filled with creativity and inspiration. Come and celebrate the rich artistic heritage of Scarborough and find the hidden gems waiting to be uncovered. As well as exhibitions, several artists and makers across the town will be hosting workshops for visitors to take part in and create art of their own.
The Scarborough Fair - Scarborough Fringe
Scarborough Fringe will feature theatre, music, comedy, spoken word, children’s shows, and a variety of other events and performances. Running between Friday 13 June and Sunday 22 June 2025, it is just the second Fringe to ever take place in Scarborough. Some events will be free, and others will be ticketed. They could take place in traditional arts venues or more unconventional settings such as pubs, hotels, the indoor market or even the Central Tramway. The Fringe will take over Scarborough for 10 days and will have something for everyone – from residents and families to students and tourists alike. With a diverse range of performances, exhibitions, and events, you are sure to find something to enjoy.
