The Mountain Firework Company are an acoustic 5 piece based in Brighton, England. They came together over heartache and wine to create what has been described as "gorgeous folk/alt country pop, with equal parts darkness and cheeky humour " and "alternative bluegrass with a dark treacle folk centre"

Dorothy Stacpoole, ageing aristocrat and former model, owns a crumbling stately home and is considering her options as how best to preserve the property and its treasury of priceless contents, but without jeopardising her last few remaining years. The National Trust is an obvious strong contender, whereas using the house as a setting for what is, rather more tastefully referred to as an adult film, is another. The clash between these two extremes and those of the principal protagonists, is a vehicle for outrageous humour. But, as always with Bennett, there is an underlying theme of humanity which makes the shock of what the audience sees not merely palatable, but relevant in many ways to modern society, its mores and attitudes. Good Habits are a UK alt-folk duo, telling stories and turning heads across the globe. Composed of singer-cellist Bonnie Schwarz and accordionist Pete Shaw, the duo create folk-ish musical tales, with captivating lyrics married with their unique brand of brisk instrumental virtuosity.

Janice Burns & Jon Doran are an Anglo-Scottish duo with a shared love of traditional music. They find their songs in archives that span the depths of our history – songs that tell vivid stories about the nature of life and our place in the world. From the ethereal landscapes of ancient ballads to the urban rhythms of work songs, they bring each story to life through their stunning vocal harmonies, accompanied by mandolin, tenor guitar and bouzouki. Winning audiences everywhere with their warm, heartfelt presence and flawless delivery, this talented duo are a must-see for all folk fans.

The Lost Notes are a band born and based in the creatively fertile blaglands of Moseley, Birmingham UK. They write songs about things that matter. Like the perils of one night stands and plastic surgery, the plight of bankers, greaseballs, snakes, Greco-Roman health and safety failings, mules, mermaids and the downright miserable. The principal songwriters are Ben and Oli. Oli likes folk and Ben digs jazz. Both are stubborn. So each seeks to exert their own subtle influence on the music. The result is part folk with a drag of soul roots, a slug of gospel, or downright country with a thump of jazz around the edges. The band are: Ben Mills: vocals, guitar, piano, harmonica; Oli Jobes: lead guitar, vocals; Lucy Mills: vocals and, on a good day, cowbell. Steve Vantsis and Max Tomlinson ignore the prima donnas vying for attention out front and thump out driving rhythms on double bass and drums. They have built up a loyal fan base across the folk and festival circuit through performances at places such as Shrewsbury Folk Festival, Costa Festival, Portugal, Moseley Folk Festival, Birmingahm Symphony Hall, Bromsgrove Folk Festival, Beardy Folk Festival, The Glee Club, The Jam House, the MAC, Birmingham Conservatoire Theatre and folk clubs across the Midlands and beyond. They have recently released their critically acclaimed third album: Good Luck Shoes, which has been played on BBC Radio, was British Country Music Associations "Editors Choice" and Album of the Week on British Country Music Radio. They are currenlty touring the album and working on new material for the next one.
