The Rod Stewart Songbook

The Rod Stewart Songbook

4 Jul 2026 - 18 Dec 2026

The Rod Stewart Songbook’s spectacular theatre production is the ultimate homage to Rod Stewart, featuring Pete McCall, Europe’s foremost tribute. Along with his sensational live band, you will be taken on a musical journey spanning 50 years, when one of rock music’s greatest icons sold over 250 million records worldwide. These unforgettable hits include Sailing, Maggie May, Da Ya Think I’m Sexy, Some Guys Have All The Luck, Baby Jane, Rhythm Of My Heart, You Wear It Well, Hot Legs and many many more. Pete is a consummate professional, whose attention to detail shines through in every way, including stage presence and fabulous costumes. His vocal ability is unequalled and he has the closest voice in the business to the man himself. The Hull Daily Mail quoted on the 5th February 2020, “Pete McCall is the next best thing to seeing Rod himself”. Even the great Rod Stewart would be proud of the tribute paid to him by Pete McCall, in fact Rod’s sister Mary Cady, said to Pete “you were excellent”. At the show you could easily think you were at an actual Rod Stewart concert, where the atmosphere is electric and the audience are encouraged to participate, sing along and even dance in the aisles. Unlike the majority of other theatre productions that use backing tracks, the band play 100% live, which provides that authentic flavour Rod was famous for. Wherever the venue your audience will be guaranteed a night they will never forget and will feel as though they have not just seen a show, but have had “an experience”.
Alfie Moore: Acopalypse Now

Alfie Moore: Acopalypse Now

19 Jun 2026 - 26 Nov 2026

The Four Horsemen of Rising Crime, Global Warming, AI and Culture Wars are galloping towards us. Are we on the road to hell? And can we avoid the potholes? In his brand new tour show 'Fair Cop' Alfie has the antidote to the breakdown of law and order, fake news and the price of baked beans. Somewhere in a parallel universe little Alfie’s natural comedic performance skills were recognised by his doting parents who encouraged and developed his blossoming talent. After several years as a stage school brat Alfie’s angelic face was launched on stage and screen and the rest is history. Meanwhile, in this universe Alfie Moore was told to stop messing about in class before being ‘encouraged’ into the grinding, grimy world of an apprenticeship in the Sheffield steelworks. When recession hit he traded steel for copper by joining Humberside Police. In his 40s the two universes collided when Alfie made a bid for showbiz success – but unfortunately 30 years of shift-work and being punched in the face quite a lot, had left him with ‘a face for radio’. A face not so much ‘lived in’ as inhabited by a settlement of squatters with little regard to property maintenance and repair.

The Poozies

The Poozies

22 Oct 2026 - 6 Nov 2026

The Poozies first burst onto the folk scene in 1991, when folk music wore elaborately patterned woolly jumpers and was only seen in dingy back rooms and very late at night on BBC2 - yet from the word go they were breaking out and happily exploring the musical universe. The folk scene was then, as now, very male-dominated and so it was a conscious decision back then to be an all-female band. The name came from a den of iniquity frequented by Robert Burns, called Poozie Nancys, and there is some debate amongst the four founder members as to whether the now-obvious meaning of Poozie was realised back then but the feeling now is that its pretty rock and roll!!As with all bands that have been on the road for so long there have been various line-up changes, and although its probably fair to say a male may feel its slightly strange to be in a band with this name, there has also always been a natural choice of who will join the band and these people have also just so happened to be female. Throughout the years The Poozies have toured worldwide and attracted recognition and appreciation for their eclectic choice of material, unusual and exciting arrangements, and heart-tugging vocal harmonies.

But with the addition of Karen Wimhurtss divine clarinet/bass clarinet improvised bass lines, one felt all of a sudden that this might be as good as small scale modern English Folk Music performance ever gets...."
