Botley School, Chalgrove Primary School, Glory Farm Primary School, Icknield Community College, Stadhampton Primary School and Watlington Primary School present the first performance of The Wind in the Willows , a new musical play for young voices. Tickets are free. We have included an option to make a 3 contribution on a voluntary basis in order to offset some of the costs of the performance. Seats are not numbered, but you are able to select your preferred section of the theatre (click here [https://www.musicatoxford.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/Sheldonian-Theatre.jpg]). Please note that we don't recommend that children under eight years old are seated in the Upper Gallery, as this area is steep. If you have needs relating to mobility - for example, if you are a wheelchair user - please select a seat in the Stalls.
Bach Magnificat and Handel Dixit Dominus
Joining forces with Instruments of Time and Truth, Oxfords professional period ensemble, and a vibrant team of soloists, Oxford Pro Musica Singers present Handels sparkling early work Dixit Dominus in the fitting grandeur of the famous Sheldonian Theatre. Scored for choir, soloists, strings and continuo, it is a setting of Psalm 110. To complement the Handel, the choir will perform Bach's joyful and much-loved Magnificat, complete with baroque trumpets!
