KINDRED SPIRITS represents the coming together of three of the UK’s most enduring 80’s alternative rock acts to create an unmissable triple bill of dark and atmospheric post punk music in a truly unique East London venue. Balaam And The Angel: formed in 1984 by the Morris brothers, have performed for 40+ years. Decolonise Fest is a London-based music festival created by and for people of colour in the punk scene. Over the weekend we will host music, panels, and workshops that celebrate the contributions of punx of colour. Passion, punk and solidarity will be the order of weekend when Decolonise Fest - a UK DIY punk festival created by and for people of colour - returns next month. This year’s festival will take place from Saturday 6th to Sunday 7th September at Signature Brew Walthamstow in East London, with an all-new lineup looking to pick up where former Decolonise Fest alums like Nova Twins, Bob Vylan, Big Joanie and Grove have left off in previous years. The festival will uplift and stand proudly with Palestinians amid the ongoing genocide in Gaza, as well as featuring a wealth of music and workshops designed to centre and celebrate the contributions of people of colour to alternative music. Come celebrate the spirit of the Glastonbury Festival with We Can Be Heroes at Signature Brew Blackhorse Road on Sunday, 29th June. We're showcasing some of the UKs best young musicians on the big stage as part of Signature Brew's Glastonbury weekend spectacular. Tickets are just £5 for adults, and free for under-18s. We Can Be Heroes is an all-ages, not-for-profit, community event providing young musicians with an opportunity to perform live on stage. We are free for young people, with a small charge for adults to help help cover our costs. Grown-up volunteers are welcome! All performers must be pre-booked by a parent or guardian using the Google Form. In our website (www.wecanbeheroes.co.uk). We want to give as many young people a chance to perform as possible. Places are limited and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis whilst maintaining a mix of acts and styles. We accept applications from beginners and veterans, solo performers and bands, and in any genre of music. We offer a stage with lighting, a professional sound engineer, and a range of equipment.
