A charity concert with headliners ‘Helix’, who have previously played at The Smokehouse. With support acts ‘Love for Money’ and ‘Happy Septemeber!’ a night for music with all profits going to charity. Helix are an Alternative Rock Band based in Ipswich, Suffolk. Forming at college in September 2023, the band consist of Joseph Nekrews on Rhythm Guitar and Vocals, Oscar Cashell on Bass and Backing Vocals, Ollie Haig on Lead Guitar and Bradley Knight behind the kit. The boys have performed at numerous local events in and around Ipswich at venues such as the Smokehouse, The Baths, The Hunter Club, The Apex and most recently at Cambridge Junction. In June, they released their raw and energetic debut EP 'Truth Be Told'. Since then they have followed it up with three singles: 'Robot Boy', 'Fight or Flight', and just released indie banger 'Fish Tanks as Galaxies'. The lads can't wait to progress to bigger and better things. Love for Money has no set genre; inspired by the beginning of modern rock, from blues and funk to hard rock and jazz fusion, we appreciate everything with a good groove.
