Daft Funk Live! are a Daft Punk tribute-band based in the UK. Embracing the live aspect of DP's performances, they incorporate their own custom light shows, including a three-meter high LED pyramid, and use live instruments to give an immersive and dynamic show. Their stage production is meticulously crafted, paying the utmost homage to the infamous and illusive Robots.

Devoted to recreating the atmosphere of a live Joy Division gig, Transmission emulate the sound of one of the most inventive, evocative and influential groups of their era. Joy Division were formed in the late 1970s and dissolved in 1980 after the suicide of lead singer Ian Curtis. The remaining members went on to form New Order and have achieved much critical and commercial success. The influence of Joy Division, however, was far reaching. They were considered the pioneering band of the post-punk movement of the late 1970s and early 1980s. Forty three years on you can relive the dark, cavernous sound of Joy Division through Transmission - the UK's number one Joy Division tribute act.

Formed in 1977 to promote Ian Durys’ album ‘New Boots and Panties’ on the first Stiff Records tour of the U.K. Chaz Jankel, Norman Watt-Roy, Charlie Charles, John Turnbull and Mick Gallagher became known as ‘The Blockheads’ (a reference to a song on Ian’s album). As ‘Ian Dury & The Blockheads’ they went back out on tour, this time without Chaz Jankel, and in 1978 released ‘What a Waste’ a single that reached number five in the U.K. charts. They were then joined by saxophonist Davey Payne and toured the U.S.A supporting Lou Reed across North America ending with their own dates in California (with backline roadie Pete Rush) In late 1978 Chaz returned to the fold and composed ‘Hit me with your Rhythm Stick’ with Ian. The band recorded it in The Workhouse Studios, Old Kent Road, London and in 1979 had a number one hit record with it in the U.K. Ian Dury & The Blockheads went on to record the ‘Do it Yourself’ album and toured Europe and the U.K. recording ‘Reasons to be Cheerful, Part 3’ in Rome. Released as a single in late 1979 it reached number three in the U.K. charts. In 1980 Chaz, once again, left the band to pursue solo projects in California and Wilko Johnson joined Ian, Norman, Johnny, Charlie, Mickey and Davey to record and release a third album for Stiff Records called ‘Laughter’ and released ‘I Want to be Straight’ and ‘Supermans Big Sister’ as singles. They toured throughout 1981 in the U.K and Europe, sometimes augmented by Don Cherry on trumpet, ending the year with a tour of Australia. In 1982 Ian Dury & The Blockheads disbanded and were not to play together again until 1987 when they went out to Japan in June to play three shows in four days, disbanding again until 1990 when the death of Charlie Charles in September of that year re-united them to play two Benefit gigs in aid of Charlies’ family. Chaz returned from America and Steven Monti picked up the drumsticks for the hottest ticket in town. The band, now augmented by Merlin Rhys-Jones on guitar and Will Parnell on percussion, recorded a live album ‘Warts & Audience’ in December 1990. Chaz returned to California and the band toured Spain in January 1991. Once again the band stopped working until August 1994 when, with the return to England of Chaz, the band were invited to play the Madstock Festival in Finsbury Park in August which led to a series of hit and run gigs in Europe, Ireland, the U.K.and Japan throughout the rest of 1994 and 1995. In March 1996 Ian was diagnosed with cancer and, after recovering from an operation, was determined to write another album.

They scored thirteen Top 40 singles and three Top 10 albums in the UK charts before splitting up in 2011. Having released the albums The Hissing of Summer Lawns, Hejira, Don Juan’s Reckless Daughter and Mingus (regarded as her ‘jazz period’), Joni then toured briefly with a band formed from the crème de la crème of contemporaneous jazz musicians (Metheny, Mays, Brecker, Pastorius and Alias). The tour was recorded, producing the outstanding live album, ‘Shadows And Light’; it is from this album that the band Hejira is drawing the body of its repertoire. Comprising highly experienced jazz musicians, this band is fronted by the brilliant Hattie Whitehead who not only has - in her own way - assimilated the poise, power and beauty of Joni’s vocals, but also plays guitar with Joni’s stylistic mannerisms. We Are Scientists is a New York-based indie rock band that formed in Berkeley, California in 2000. Originally formed of Keith Murray on drums, Chris Cain playing bass guitar and Scott Lamb providing vocals and guitar, before Michael Tapper became drummer and Keith became vocalist and guitarist. The band's breakthrough success came with their second album With Love and Squalor which sold 100,000 copies in the first 6 months. Their second success was with Brain Thrust Mastery which charted at 11 in the UK album chart, with two top 40 singles "After Hours" and "Chick Lit." Their fourth album, Barbara, was released in the UK on the 14th June 2010. Also, they are starring in their own television short Steve Wants His Money.

John Harold Arnold Bramwell, to give him his full name, is perhaps best-known for his time as the songwriter and frontman of Manchester three-piece, I Am Kloot. However, he also possesses an enviable back catalogue as a solo artist and continues to work on new material under the guise of his latest band, John Bramwell & The Full Harmonic Convergence. Bramwell’s first studio output appeared in 1989, when he was performing and recording as Johnny Dangerously and entitled You Me & The Alarm Clock, an album The Guardian referred to as one of the ‘greatest albums you’ve never heard.’ Following a stint as a television presenter and as a member of the band, The Mouth, Bramwell formed I Am Kloot, with two members of The Mouth. They went on to record six studio albums, including the Mercury-Prize nominated album, Sky At Night. Since 2016, Bramwell has reverted to being a solo artist and tours continuously, around the UK and Europe. A home-recorded solo album, Leave Alone the Empty Spaces appeared in 2018 and the follow-up, a more expansive affair, with a working title of The Light Fantastic, is now scheduled for release in 2022.

Wisely ignoring their comments, she enrolled at the Leeds College of Music and became the first student in the college’s history, to achieve a 100% pass mark at BTEC, with 18 distinctions. Chantel then pursued further education and left with a First Class Honours degree in Popular Music and a coveted prize, the college’s musician of the year award. ​ Chantel released her highly anticipated second album, Lose Control, in October 2015 on her independent boutique label Tis Rock Music, this being the follow up to her critically acclaimed 2011 debut album, Like No Other.

M.A Promotions presents Pablo Carrizo at Social. Pablo Carrizo is a 20 year old singer songwriter from Hull. In 2024 he sold out The New Adelphi Club two months in advance, played main stage at Humber Street Sesh and released his debut single Summerhouse. He also went on to support The Rosadocs numerous times, played shows with The Chase and did a live performance with Jon McClure from Reverend And The Makers. Pablo has already been compared to the likes of Sam Fender, Gerry Cinnamon, Noel Gallagher and The Ks which his live performance really does reflect.

Rick Buckler was the drummer for The Jam throughout the band's entire existence. Her performed every concert and played on every record the band ever made.

Mark Berry (Bez) was born in Bolton, the son of parents from the Norris Green district of Liverpool His father was a detective inspector Bez first came to prominence at the turn-of-the-1990’s as the maraca-wielding dancer with ‘Madchester’ giants Happy Mondays. Neither an accomplished musician nor even a very good dancer, Bez was a prime candidate for fleeting celebrity, soon to sink into ‘Where Are They Now?’ obscurity. That, however, never happened, nor does it show any sign of happening. Through Black Grape, the second band he co-fronted with the Mondays’ Shaun Ryder, and his ever-presence in the mass media, (Gogglebox, MasterChef, Celebrity Big Brother, and Dancing on Ice Bez’s popularity has grown exponentially, his star rocketing ever upwards! When he bowled into Celebrity Big Brother in 2005, he ended up winning the series, as viewers came to understand his fundamental decency and sunny outlook. His adult life has been extraordinary: unbelievable scrapes with mortality, periods of financial ruin, and narcotic-strewn hi-jinks. Join Bez, as he talks about his extraordinary life and career, the story of a bad lad who has turned his life good, tracing his passage from twenty- thirty-something casualty to middle-aged politician, eco-warrior, and bee-aficionado. The Belgrave House Band, on a mission to celebrate and honour that historic art form, the album, are back once again for edition No.9 to take on the multi-award winning, chart-topping, Doo Wopping, Soul, Reggae and Jazz masterpiece Back To Black. Amy Winehouse's second and most well-known album produced by the esteemed Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi with The Dap-Kings as backing band. The Belgrave House Band's lineup is decorated with a full horn section, backing vocalists and a rhythm section from Leeds burgeoning Jazz scene, chosen to honour Amy's live band circa 2007. The band will also be taking movement direction from prestigious choreographer, Ruby Portus, who has closely studied the movement of not only Amy's live performances but also the 60's Girl Groups the album takes so much influence from.

Yorkshireman and stand up comedian Rob Mulholland is known for his intricately woven, gag-packed stories. After reaching the finals of the prestigious Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year competition, he went on to win English Comedian of the Year.

Nerina Natasha Georgina Pallot is a British singer, songwriter and producer, who has released seven albums and over a dozen EPs. She was nominated for British Female Solo Artist at the 2007 BRIT Awards and nominated for an Ivor Novello Award for "Sophia" in the category of 'Best Song' in the same year.

Betty Boo is a Hip Hop pioneer and 90’s icon, as well as a a multi-platinum selling, Brit- and Ivor Novello- Award-winning singer/songwriter/producer from West London. In 1987, a chance meeting in McDonald's on Shepherd’s Bush Green with Public Enemy after the Def Jam show at Hammersmith, led to her supporting the band on their tour in the US with her Hip Hop trio She Rockers. In 1989 she featured as featured vocalist on The Beatmasters’ Top 10 single - Hey DJ/I Can't Dance (To That Music You're Playing) Her first solo single, Doin’ The Do, was released the following year and heralded Betty Boo as a phenomenon in her own right. Doin’ The Do and the follow-up Where Are You Baby? were both top 10 singles. They were written and demoed by Betty Boo in her bedroom using basic sampling gear - a process she would return to in recent years.
