The List

Sondheim Theatre

The Queen's Theatre was named after a queen you've likely never heard of: Alexandra of Denmark, consort of Edward VII. It's hosted many illustrious productions, including Another Country, Shadowlands and a celebrated Three Sisters starring two generations of Redgraves, but it's most famous for a particular musical: it was here in 2006 that Les Misérables broke the record for the longest continuously-running musical of all time. The nearest Tube is Charing Cross (Northern / Bakerloo) and the theatre is served by bus routes 14, 19 and 38.
