An afternoon organ recital by International organ recitalist, Jonathan Scott on the historic Binns organ of St Cuthberts Church, Clungunford, Shropshire

Prize-winning duo Giacomo Schmidt & JongSun Woo perform Schubert's much-loved song cycle, "Die schne Mllerin", which explores a young man's journey through nature and unrequited love. They both studied at the Liedakademie in 2021/2022 under the artistic direction of Thomas Hampson. At the International Student LiedDuo Competition in 2022, they won both first prize, the Aurora Festival Award and the Prize for the best performance of the verplicated work, June Night by Anne-Maartje Lemereis.

Our final concert will feature Schubert's Piano Quintet, The Trout, alongside stormy Rossini and some more vibrant Ravel. We are also delighted to welcome local young musician Martha Franks to the festival for a special guest performance of "Fisherman's Song" by Chen Yi.
