This six-piece band play distinctive versions of post-punk classics drawn from memory in the Primitive style. They are Pete Bull - violin, Helena Perry - cello, Chris Peckham - accordian, Ben Wright - piano, Lucy Hall-Smith - percussion and Dan Ecclestone - tuned percussion & arrangements.

This fabulous double bill concert features the award-winning Freds House and the funky psychedelic blues and rock band The 29th Funktion. First up are The 29th Funktion with the Wickedly Wild Lulu on Vocals, Wizard Tommy on the Guitar, Louis on Drums and Mr Alex TickinBoy on Bass. They love performing a crafted varied set of covers, and their own passion-mad original music, and are recognised for their extremely high energy and captivating stage presence. Freds House will complete the concert, when you can expect catchy melodies, feel-good vibes and powerhouse vocals featuring four-part harmonies. Fred's House has performed more gigs than they care to remember, including headline tours of the UK and China. They return to St Ives to help us raise the funds for this year's Old Riverport Jazz & Blues Festival.

They are a true tribute to the Fab Four! by performing in character, using authentic costumes and instruments, singing the right harmonies (all in the right key) to recreate The Beatles iconic look and sound.
