Join us for a wonderful evening of dancing at the next installment of our ceilidh series in the magnificent St John's Waterloo... with the exciting band Out of Hand! https://www.facebook.com/OutOfHandUK Out of Hand are a vibrant 5-piece Ceilidh Band in the UK known for our folk-rock style and high energy tunes. Young, bouncy, and a staple of the festival scene, they put modern twists on traditional tunes as well as a load of their own compositions to give a thumping, danceable rhythm that will keep you on the dance floor all through the night. They are joined by the superb Nick Walden to call the dances - one of the country's leading ceilidh dance callers. ★★★AND★★★ Special guests to be announced This is a fun and inclusive evening of music and dancing. No experience necessary - all the dances are carefully explained. Come with friends or by yourself - it's a great way to meet new people. Bar provided. Waterloo Ceilidhs is a leading ceilidh series at St John's Church, opposite Waterloo station. Featuring some of the country's top ceilidh bands and callers, we bring inclusive and high-energy ceilidhs to the London music scene. Tickets We want to keep our prices affordable, whilst showcasing the country's top ceilidh bands in this wonderful venue in Central London. There are three price options: - standard admission - you can choose to pay a bit more to help us get this ceilidh series of the ground and safeguard future events - or you can pay a bit less if you need it to be a bit more affordable this time. This option is subsidised and designed for students or people without a regular, full-time, salaried income.

Join us for a wonderful evening of dancing to the gorgeous grooves of Definitely Contraband! https://www.facebook.com/DefinitelyContraband Storming onto the festival scene in 2024, Definitely Contraband supply addictive dance music through the fiery fiddling force of Martin Clarke and Nicky McConkey, laced with heady beats from Ben Filmer-Sankey on guitar and banjo, and Tom Evans on bass. Their high-energy dance grooves and boundless enthusiasm make for an intoxicating evening! They are joined by the superb Charlie Turner to call the dances - one of the country's leading ceilidh dance callers.
