Many acts that appear at our comedy nights have appeared on TV shows such as Mock The Week, Have I Got News For You? and Michael McIntryre’s Comedy Roadshow. Founded in 2003, by Nottingham comedian Spiky Mike, our award-winning comedy shows are renowned for having very friendly audiences and a wonderful atmosphere. We have won the ‘Best Midlands Comedy Club’ award twice with leading comedy website Chortle and also at The Midlands Comedy Awards. As well as booking pro-acts, we are also always looking for total beginners to appear at our new act gong comedy shows. We also provide comedians for private comedy functions.

Woven Chords Choir Summer Concert

Woven Chords Choir Summer Concert

24 Jul 2025 - 24 Jul 2025

Local community choir Woven Chords are back on stage with a Summer Concert to celebrate the end of another vocal year. In keeping with their motto of “Worldwide Harmonies with a Local Heart” they will be singing a wide range of a cappella songs from Europe, Africa, Asia and beyond (although nothing as yet from Antarctica!). Under musical director Graham Dale, prepare to be taken around the world in eighty minutes! The musical delights will include folk songs, gospel songs, protest songs, original compositions, an unofficial national anthem, and even some Gaelic mouth music. How is this all possible? - we hear you ask. Come along and find out!
