Matt Pryor (of The Get Up Kids)

Matt Pryor (of The Get Up Kids)

30 Apr 2026 - 8 May 2026

Kansas City, Missouri native, Matt Pryor, is a household name for anyone who was attuned to the second and third waves of emo. His genre-defining band, The Get Up Kids, were among a small and legendary group that has shaped the musical landscape for years. However, after growing tired of the boundaries it so needlessly applied, the internationally recognised frontrunners eventually transcended the genre with their later albums and found themselves at home with a more indie sound. Most recently, on his latest album under his given name, Matt Pryor has presented the world with The Salton Sea, and it is abundantly clear that this is the continuation of a decades-long love affair with music and being outright obsessed with song-writing. Steadfast fans of Pryor's prolific career will also find themselves treated to a style that is more reminiscent of the works of Paul Westerberg and Red House Painters, that is of course laden with Pryor's signature style, whose DNA is deeply rooted in artists like Elvis Costello and The Afghan Whigs.

Quest Master is an Australian project that burst onto the underground 'dungeon synth' scene in 2017. Known for its nostalgic soundscapes reminiscent of 90s RPGs, the project utilizes classic digital tones from Yamaha and Casio keyboards. Its early works, including "Lost Songs of Distant Realms," "The Twelve Castles," and "The Twelve Temples," draw heavily from the soundtracks of early N64 and PSX games. In 2023, the project took a new direction with "Sword & Circuitry," embracing the lush, ethereal sounds of 80s synthesizer music. This project, led by Lord Gordith, continues to captivate listeners with its evocative and immersive compositions. Quest Master will be supporting his new album, "Obscure Power", out on Out Of Season Records.

15 May 2026 - 15 May 2026

Deaf Club continues their scathing indictment of society with their second full-length album, being released on Southern Lord and Three One G: We Demand a Permanent State of Happiness. Fast wit and faster blast beats are mainstays of the band, but there is also a sense of growth. This is their strongest songwriting yet, incorporating more hooks and good old-fashioned moments to mosh while staying as weird as ever. Raygun guitar riffs and unexplainable sounds abound. Justin Pearson, Brian Amalfitano, Scott Osment, and Jason Klein excel at inciting emotion in the face of apathy and voicing disgust amid a world rapidly burning. We Demand a Permanent State of Happiness was recorded and edited by Alex Estrada at Pale Moon Ranch and Luke Henshaw at Penguin Studio. Mixed by Daniel Schlett. Mastered by Nathan Joyner. Pressed on three different limited edition color vinyl variants, released by Three One G and Southern Lord. Presented by The Beauty Witch. This is an 18+ event
