Sebastian Schub: Early Versions 005

Sebastian Schub: Early Versions 005

25 Jun 2026 - 25 Jun 2026

Early Versions is a series of intimate shows and an exclusive look into Sebastian Schub's creative process as he unveils a selection of songs from his upcoming debut album. For a young artist, Sebastian Schub (pronounced Shoob), has long been putting in the hard yards. If finding a fanbase is commonly sought surfing and serving the myriad algorithms online, it’s become almost a rarity to find a musician adopting an old-school approach, trekking from city-to-city, venue-to-venue finding pockets of new fans out on the road. Sebastian has found solace and success by taking great care of both approaches. Raised by his mother in Hamburg before moving across to London in his mid-teens, Sebastian grew up being encouraged to commit fully to whatever creative endeavour he felt most passionately about. Sebastian is already an artist with aspirations and intentions for the biggest stages. A multi-instrumentalist with a rich, dark baritone vocal, he makes dramatic and romantic music, both rough-hewn and yet decidedly classic. It runs the gamut of genres, an instant hit for sad boys, sad girls, and for shiny happy people. Music for Saturday nights and music for Sunday mornings. A modern man making timeless music. What’s not to love? Stone Nest is an arts organisation and performance venue in the heart of London's West End, bringing exceptional and experimental art to a wide audience. Presented by Communion One and Stone Nest. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Manu Delago X Max Zt

Grammy-nominated innovators Manu Delago (handpan) and Max ZT (hammered dulcimer) come together in a bold new duo that reimagines the sonic possibilities of their instruments. Drawing from a lifetime of global collaboration, deep improvisation, and refined compositional craft, the two virtuosos create immersive, meditative soundscapes that unfold with both delicacy and drive. “Hearing Manu for the first time blew me away. There was the obvious virtuosity, but the way that he was composing and thinking about his instrument in an unusual and unique way really stuck out to me and made me feel like this was a connection that needed to be developed further” explains Max ZT. The duo met almost 10 years ago when Manu Delago was touring in the US. “Originally we started with improvisation, but over the years we developed various compositions. Last year we finally found the perfect time and space to record the music, in an amazing 18th-century space in an even older monastery in the Alps. A duo facing each other where both members had just turned 40? We had to call the album Deuce” remembers Manu Delago. Stone Nest is an arts organisation and performance venue in the heart of London's West End, bringing exceptional and experimental art to a wide audience. Presented by Serious and Stone Nest. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
