Tate Britain

One of a family of four galleries across London dedicated to maintaining and expanding national collections of British art, with an extensive range of work spanning 1500 to the present day. As well as this, there are regular exhibitions of contemporary art works and children will be interested in the first four galleries which focus on animals and wildlife. Note: Due to the coronavirus outbreak, Tate Britain is closed to the public from 17 March--1 May 2020.

Home School Tate Britain Workshop: Landscapes, 8 - 12 Year Olds, 1.5 hours long
This session is for the home school group, with children aged 8 - 12 years old. If you are bringing multiple children and some are older or younger please let Daniel know so he can plan accordingly. The session lasts 1.5 hours. This month we will be exploring Landscapes. Artist we will look at include Lowry and Turner. Daniel will provide all materials. An adult will need to be present with the children, and will count towards to the ticket allocation. You are welcome to team up with other families and have just one adult for a few children. This is due to Safe Guarding restrictions required by the gallery. For this age group 1 adult is welcome to accompany 10 children. Note: The Image in the thumbnail is a work on display in the gallery, it may not form part of the tour.
