Over the past 6 years and a few line up changes, the sound that Foo Fighters GB produce has been constantly refined and this is reflected in the equipment that they use; Lead guitarist, Nath Peach and front man, Dan O’Connell, utilise the sounds of a Mesa Boogie and Vox AC30, teamed with Gibson Les Pauls, Explorers and a DG335 and Fender custom shop Telecasters. Bassist, Connor Croxford uses a Fender P bass along with an Ashdown Bass stack. Russ Weller, Drums, has a Gretch USA custom pink, which was custom built to match the kit Taylor Hawkins used at Glastonbury festival. He also has a Gretch USA custom Bell Brass snare and A custom Zildjian cymbals. Jim Freeman, keys, uses a Nord Electro D6. Voivod Very few bands survive for four decades. Even fewer are those that continue to reach new creative heights, long after legendary status has been achieved. Voïvod were never like other bands: even as the thrash metal scene exploded in the early ‘80s, the Jonquière, Québec crew stood apart, both as unique visionaries and as proud subverters of the metallic norm. From early prog-thrash classics like Killing Technology and Dimension Hatröss through to the psychedelic explorations of The Outer Limits, Voïvod have been standard bearers for individuality and creative freedom for nearly 40 years. Midnight Midnight is a band fronted by one Athenar, aka Jamie Walters, a guy who has had his hand in practically anything metal coming out of Cleveland over the years. Originally just a for-fun side project, Midnight has developed into a full-fledged band, and the formula is simple -- raw, NWOBHM-inspired fare, with heavy influences from bands like Tank, Motorhead, and a bit of early Venom as well. It's certainly not complex, and there's really not a lot of variation from song to song or album to album, yet there aren't a lot of bands playing this style these days and Midnight is surprisingly effective and entertaining. Haze Despite building their reputation as a progressive rock band, Haze have always drawn on a wide variety of influences, ranging from pop, rock, folk, and metal to meandering psychedelic jams & tightly structured prog epics. Formed in Sheffield in the late 1970s by brothers Chris & Paul McMahon, they established their reputation as one of the hardest working underground bands of the 80s and have continued to perform regularly ever since, including weekly live-streamed concerts during Lockdown. On 12th October 2024, some 47 years later the band reunited to play a special reunion gig at The West End Centre in Aldershot. The original line up of Mark Terry on guitar and vocals, Stuart Manson on keyboards, Paul Bennett on Bass and Richard Houghton on drums performed their original set including Man From Down Under, The Goblin Party and Leaving You In The Lurch from their early recordings plus some new material from their forthcoming release Normal Service Will Be resumed. Progressive Jazz Rock Legends Colosseum will be on the road again with a new line-up consisting of original frontman Chris Farlowe, guitarist Clem Clempson and bassist Mark Clarke. Formed in 1968 by Jon Hiseman and Dick Heckstall-Smith after leaving the Graham Bond Organization and John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, Colosseumreleased their debut LP Those Are About To Die Salute You in 1969. Later the same year they became the first act to release an LP, Valentyne Suite, on the collectible Vertigo record label who went on to release records by Black Sabbath and Status Quo amongst others. Colosseum went on to release a further two LP's before splitting in 1971. Band members went on to join bands such as Humble Pie, Atomic Rooster, Greenslade and more.

Marquee Square Heroes invite you to relive the moments that made marillion one of the biggest bands in the world Marillion still regularly undertake a series of shows around the UK at Christmas. Take the opportunity to transport yourself back to the very beginning of this Christmas tradition that sits slightly outside many other more traditional seasonal spectaculars. By the end of 1984, Marillion had completed their second album and toured to great acclaim with the Fugazi album. Demand to see the band was huge, and a multitude of pirated bootleg live albums began circulating amongst their fans. EMI decided to release a live "mini-album," available at a reduced price. And thus was born Real to Reel, a live album that really captures the essence and spirit of the band at that time. A few Christmas gigs were then booked, and the Real to Reel Tour was undertaken. No one could have anticipated what would happen to Marillion in 1985. The decision to release Real to Reel enabled the band to concentrate on writing the album that became the biggest-selling of their career: Misplaced Childhood. Achieving Number 1 status in the album charts, it provided massive exposure with top 5 singles chart positions for Kayleigh and Lavender, and a strong chart position for Heart of Lothian too. Kayleigh was only kept from the top of the charts by a worthy charity single. You couldn’t turn the radio on in 1985 without hearing that classic song of lost love and lost opportunities. On this tour, not only did Marillion play an exceptional set of songs from their catalogue, but they also played 17 minutes of the new album live for the first time. It blew those who witnessed it away. The Rezillos burst forth upon the rock scene in 1976, having gathered together at Edinburgh College of Art. Through a shared love of Sixties Garage Rock and the Spectoresque Girl Group glam of The Ronettes and The Shangri-Las, The Rezillosfound themselves inadvertently caught up in the Punk or New Wave movement. Their debut single, I Can't Stand My Baby, shot them to underground fame initially via airings on John Peel's radio show. Their classic singles My Baby Does Good Sculptures, Top of the Pops and Destination Venus signalled critically acclaimed milestones for the band. Their landmark album of 1978 Can't Stand the Rezillos reached the top 10 in the UK album chart. They appeared twice on the legendary Old Grey Whistle Test and hit the Top Twenty with their hit single Top of the Pops, a satirical swipe at the UK pop music show of the same name. Once the band had achieved chart success it was inevitable that they should appear on the same show! They followed up that same year with a live recording, Mission Accomplished... But the Beat Goes On, and promptly broke up to the anguish of fans and music critics alike.

The Far Meadow Returning to The 1865 for their first co-headline in three years, The Far Meadow bring their own distinctive form of fusion-inspired symphonic progressive rock, already familiar to Solent Area Prog fans after several local appearances. Founder member and keyboardist Eliot Minn's creative partnership with Keith Buckman (bass) and Denis Warren (guitar) began in 2011, after they joined to refresh a previous line-up of the band. They have since performed several headlines and festivals including A New Day Festival, Cambridge Rock Festival, Danfest, Fusion, HRH Prog, Prog the Forest, Prog for Peart, Resonance, and Summer's End, drawing on their album releases Given the Impossible (2016) and Foreign Land (2019). 2026 sees the introduction of two new members. Bringing a new voice to the storytelling, singer songwriter LuLu Ash is an established solo artist with an array of atmospheric single releases and an album A Trick of the Light (2024). Behind the drums, Aidan Marsden's percussion expertise and experience of diverse musical forms ranges across the classical repertoire, through accompanying singer-songwriters such as Gaja, to the black metal of Thing. Performing a good proportion of unreleased material, The Far Meadow will of course play some more familiar songs from their past releases. Dominic Sanderson Liverpool-based musician Dominic Sanderson places his foot firmly in the 70s prog-rock camp! With influences ranging from King Crimson, Van der Graaf Generator and Steven Wilson, through to Canterbury Scene giants Caravan and Soft Machine, Sanderson and his band bring a raw, untamed and aggressive sound! After taking his first steps into the world of progressive rock with the Discarded Memories EP (2020) and his debut album, Impermanence (2023), Sanderson and band recorded Blazing Revelations, which made its way into many 2025 end-of-year best-of lists. This album showcases an eclectic array of styles, from the symphonic approaches of From the Weeping Cradle and Lullaby for a Broken Dream to the Canterbury flavours of Faithless Folly and the acid folk of A Rite of Wrongs. Sanderson and band are a force to be reckoned with in the live arena, as exemplified by Sanderson's newest release, Live Revelations, a live album recorded at the Birmingham Symphony Hall.

Peter and the Test Tube Babies are a punk rock band that was formed in the small town of Peacehaven, England in 1978 by Del Strangefish and Peter Bywaters. Peter and the Test Tube Babies were first featured in Sounds magazine in July 1980, and after a John Peel Radio One session, made their vinyl debut on the Brighton compilation album Vaultage 78. They also had two songs on the seminal Oi! compilation Oi! the Album in that same year. They favoured absurd lyrics and strange titles, such as "The Queen Gives Good Blow Jobs". Kris Barras Band’s Death Valley Paradise crashed into the Official UK Album Charts at #27 in March 2022 - their highest charting album yet. Hailing a new beginning, they are heavier and darker than ever. “Dead Horses,” “My Parade,” “Who Needs Enemies” and “Chaos” were all A-listed at Planet Rock Radio and spent multiple weeks as the most played songs on the station. Guitarist Magazine hailed Barras as “reminiscent of shredders like Zakk Wylde”, and Classic Rock applauded the “pummelling riffs and from-the-gut vocals show his hard-rock colours at their brightest.” The moment they announced the first single, “Dead Horses”, they changed gear and have not looked back. From a UK tour with Back Stone Cherry in 2021 – culminating with a show at the Royal Albert Hall, before they then supported The Darkness for two special nights at London’s Shepherd Bush Empire. They spent March 2022 taking on, venue-wise, their biggest UK headline tour, selling out shows along the way. They then took on the massive stage of London’s Wembley Arena in support of Thunder and sailed through a triumphant Download festival debut on the second stage this summer. The ex-MMA/Cage fighter Barras has played the London Palladium, mainstages at festivals such as Planet Rockstock, Ramblin’ Man Fair and countless sold-out UK headline tours whilst picking up awards, multiple BBC Radio 2 sessions, critical acclaim and a fervent fanbase along the way.
