Daliso Chaponda at The Attic Southampton Daliso Chaponda is a comedy writer and performer from Malawi who was a finalist, finishing third in the eleventh series of Britain's Got Talent in 2017. Chaponda's act consisted of stand-up comedy, and he was the first African comedian to be a finalist on the show. Chaponda won the audience by impressing the judges with his hilariously relatable jokes. Judge Amanda Holden even used her "golden buzzer" to help him get through to the semi-final round of the competition. His sets had the audience in stitches, and the judges were unanimous in their praise for him. Chaponda was a deserving finalist, and he has gone on to have a successful very career in comedy!
