Sherriff's gripping play about a group of officers serving in a dugout on the Western Front in March 1918, focusing on Captain Stanhope, a war-worn alcoholic, as he leads his company through the tense days before a major German offensive. On Saturday, 30th May 2026, the historic Barn Theatre in Oxted will be transformed into a grand "picture palace" for a day-long celebration of the enduring magic of the silver screen.Since its inception in 1976, the BFCC has remained the premier gathering for enthusiasts dedicated to the art of film collecting and projection. To commemorate this half-century milestone, the organisers have curated an ambitious programme that will include Super 8, 16mm and 35mm film gauges plus 4K UHD digital video projection.The centrepiece of the event will be the installation of a magnificent 24ft-wide CinemaScope screen at the front of the stage. We will end the main BFCC day at 5pm and then after 5.30pm present an optional screening on 35mm of the 1993 Arnold Schwarzenegger film 'Last Action Hero'. As a result, we therefore have a three-tiered ticketing structure: 10 for the standard BFCC up to 5pm 12 for standard BFCC plus evening 35mm screening 5 for the evening 35mm screening only

Bruce Juice are bringing a range of unique features to live gigs in the UK.
