Fresh from being named 1st Runner-Up in the Brighton Fringe Festival Audience Choice Awards 2024, the show is a high-voltage celebration of one of music’s greatest icons. Band on the Run: The Paul McCartney Project
An evening of music, written by Sir Paul McCartney and spanning over 70 years, is performed by The Paul McCartney Project. Featuring songs from an enormous back-catalogue, the band perform hit after hit, including those from his time with The Beatles, Wings and solo career. Paul M (vocals, keys & guitars), Crazz (guitars), Mick Rose (keyboards & vocals), Dave Osborne (bass guitar & vocals) and Bill Brooks (drums, samples & vocals) bring a collective experience of almost 250 years, and having performed many musical styles, in many tribute and original acts from opera to punk and everything in between, have trodden the boards in support of, and with, the likes of Paul Garrack (Mike & the Mechanics), The Levellers and Sam Brown. A full light and video show enhance the performances of Live and Let Die, Band on the Run, Another Day, Let em In, Silly Love Songs, Helen Wheels, Yesterday, Ive Just Seen a Face and The Frog Chorus.... ok, not The Frog Chorus, but many, many more.
