Crystal Tides are an Indie Rock band based on the South-Coast of England, who take influence from classic noughties guitar riffs and modern feel-good pop melodies. The band have built momentum following the release of several successful singles and have sold out multiple shows in their hometown of Portsmouth and also in London. With George Regan creating a strong rhythmic foundation on bass, the band is completed by Harry Knowles on lead guitar, and Billy Gregory on rhythm guitar and vocals.

Dutch Criminal Record are an indie surf band from Chichester on the south coast of the UK, whose signature sound is guitar-driven, energetic, and packed with nostalgia. Consisting of Joe Delaney-Stone (vocals, guitar), Sam Thrussell (vocals, guitar), and Joe Frampton (drums), they take influence from '60s giants' pop vocals while lacing each track with narratives of living in 21st-century Britain with blooming harmonies and dreamy instrumentation.

The Cinelli Brothers have a passion for the music of the 1960’s, an amalgam of blues, rock and soul, and add a twist of contemporary style, making them a rising force on the music scene. Benefits are an issues-based music collective from Teesside in the North East of England. They write songs about the urgencies that concern them, and they play them loud. Forming in 2019 and consisting of Kingsley Hall on vocals, Robbie Major and Hugh Major on synths and noise, and Jonny Snowball on drums they quickly evolved from a fairly standard IDLES-lite shouty punk rock outfit to a politicised group that merges noise, hip hop, industrial rock, garage and an angry twitter feed to get it’s point across.

Welly is an extraordinary character with a remarkable literary way of describing himself, his band and society. A square peg in the round hole of suburban life, Welly embraced his difference from an early age and went onto channel his observations on suburbia into songs. Whip-smart, playful, funny and terrifyingly smart pop songs to be precise. He then set about finding the perfect vehicle to pedal his wares and so formed a band and delivered a debut album bursting with democratised pop music for people that feel fun in the charts stopped at Love Machine by Girls Aloud.

The Tubs were formed by two of the primary songwriters from the critically lauded pop group Joanna Gruesome - Owen Williams & George Nicholls - as a way of expanding the dimensions of their jubilant compositions.

Jon Gomm, based in Leeds, West Yorkshire in the UK, is an acoustic singer-songwriter with a revolutionary virtuoso guitar style, where he uses one acoustic guitar to create drum sounds, basslines and twisting melodies all at the same time. The emphasis is still on the soulful vocals and songwriting, and his original material is influenced by everything from Robert Johnson to Radiohead. His live shows combine deeply personal performances and a natural wit, with a once seen, never forgotten two-handed guitar style, both physical and complex, producing sounds people can barely believe are coming from a humble acoustic guitar. Jon first laid his hands on a guitar at the age of two (actually it was a ukulele - his parents couldn't find a guitar small enough). He wrote his first song at the age of six, and was soon accompanying his father, a music critic, to gigs in his hometown of Blackpool. Touring musicians would often stay at the Gomm household on the understanding Jon would get a guitar lesson, meaning he had one-to-one instruction from such blues legends as BB King and Jack Bruce of Cream. Nowadays, Jon tours worldwide. In January 2012 his song Passionflower went viral online, with the video passing 6 million hits, resulting in national TV appearances in the UK, Portugal, Holland, Brazil and Turkey.

'When they’re not on tour all over the world (they have played in about 40 different countries so far), Laurent Lacrouts and Mathieu Jourdain run an organic farm in southwestern France, in the Gascony area, where they breed geese. This is not your average rock band. These gentlemen farmers apply their artisan DIY ethics to their music career: they started their own record label and they prefer being their own managers. Their band name, The Inspector Cluzo, is a reference to Chief Inspector Jacques Clouseau, the famous protagonist in Blake Edwards’ The Pink Panther films. As band members, Laurent and Mathieu have chosen aliases: they become Malcom and Phil, playing guitar and drums respectively – hence the name of their label, Fuckthebassplayer Records. In the great tradition of bands like The White Stripes and The Black Keys, they work as a duo and don’t need any help from a bass player, thank you very much.'

EVER is a dynamic three-piece indie rock band from Cleethorpes, UK, influenced by grunge and pop-punk, and known for their live performances.

The Burning Hell is the alter-ego of Canadian songwriter Mathias Kom, and the band has been on the road in one form or another since 2007, playing everywhere from festivals like Glastonbury and Dawson City to bars, living rooms, abandoned bunkers, and a mental asylum in rural France. Musically, The Burning Hell runs the gamut from introspective folk to hyperactive rock and roll, and so the band can adapt to its surroundings like a karma of anthropomorphic chameleons, taking the audience on a supermarket-cart ride through hooky, upbeat pop songs, dark ballads about pet euthanasia, and anthems for barbarians, economic conferences, and love.

Through a fusion of folk instruments, punk energy and catchy pop melodies, Black Water County’s sing along choruses rile up audiences all over the UK and across Europe since their first headline tour in 2018. The five piece, 20 something group of friends from Bournemouth came together through their love of playing music live. When the band formed in the early 1970s, little did they know they would set the standard for hard rock bands that trailed. Many of the biggest acts of the '80s became popular opening for headliners Y&Tand cut their teeth on the band, as evidenced by the Y&T mentions in tell-all books by acts such as Metallica and Mötley Crüe. Born in Oakland, California, Y&T is one of the San Francisco Bay Area's own innovators of the hard rock sound. Xander and the Peace Pirates are a testament to musical integrity and personal strength. Combining soul, blues and rock, their pervasive blend of inspired song writing and memorable performances has already seen them enrapture audiences from around the world. Brothers Keith and Stu Xander were discovered on YouTube by Gibson Brands CEO Henry Juszkiewicz and during their subsequent performances for the company at numerous international events from LA to Dubai the band caught the attention of not just an ever-growing collective of fans but also industry legends such as Eddie Kramer (Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Kiss, Rolling Stones) and Rick Allen (Def Leppard). Defying all expectations, lead singer and guitarist Keith Xander was born without a right arm below the elbow and plays guitar using a prosthesis and hook with a pick attached at the end. Although many who have seen Keith play believe him to be an extraordinary guitarist despite of his perceived 'disability' he is a virtuoso musician in his own right and his playing rivals the best in the industry. In 2014 the band ended their 5-year tenure as the resident band at Liverpool's iconic Cavern Club pub and went on to support the likes of Joe Bonamassa, Joe Satriani, Manfred Mann's Earth Band, The Temperance Movement, ex-Whitesnake's Bernie Marsden and even Bon Jovi at Old Trafford Stadium to name a few. 2016 saw the band release their debut album, titled '11:11', on V2 Benelux Records, recorded at the world-famous Wisseloord studios in Hilversum, outside of Amsterdam. The album went on to receive critical acclaim from the likes of Classic Rock, Planet Rock Radio and from BBC Radio's Bob Harris. With haunting riffs, genius melodies and a uniquely infectious charisma, Xander and the Peace Pirates continue to share their musical passion to standing ovations, while spreading a universal message of peace, love and harmony.

The Irish-Italian outfit partly met at school and others later joined after meeting through the city's live music scene. With indie-pop qualities that blend alternative rock and soul sounds, Big Sleep cite artists like Big Thief, JJ Cale, Jamiroquai and The Cure as influences. It's been a busy year for the quartet. In the last 12 months since their Debut EP release, they've toured with Somebody's Child, received international radio play (BBC R1, Radio X, RTÉ 2FM) with features on major Spotify editorials (Hot New Bands, All New Rock) and toured internationally across Europe.

One thing you won't be able to avoid on Bambara's Stray is death. It's everywhere and inescapable, abstract and personified - perhaps the key to the whole record. Death, however, won't be the first thing that strikes you about the group's fourth - and greatest - album to date. That instead will be its pulverising soundscape; by turns, vast, atmospheric, cool, broiling and at times - on stand out tracks like 'Sing Me To The Street' and 'Serafina' - simply overwhelming Bambara - twin brothers Reid and Blaze Bateh, singer/guitarist and drummer respectively, and bassist William Brookshire - have been evolving their midnight-black noise into something more subtle and expansive ever since the release of their 2013 debut Dreamviolence. That process greatly accelerated on 2018's Shadow On Everything, their first on New York's Wharf Cat Records and a huge stride forward for the band both lyrically and sonically. The album was rapturously received by the press, listeners and their peers. NPR called it a 'mesmerising...western, gothic opus,' Bandcamp called the "horror-house rampage" "one of the year's most gripping listens," and Alexis Marshall of Daughters named it his 'favorite record of 2018.' Shadow also garnered much acclaim on the other side of the Atlantic. Influential British 6Music DJ Steve Lamacq, dubbed them the best band of 2019's SXSW, and Joe Talbot of the UK band IDLES said, "The best thing I heard last year was easily Bambara and their album Shadow On Everything." The question was, though, how to follow it? To start, the band did what they always do: they locked themselves in their windowless Brooklyn basement to write. Decisions were made early on to try and experiment with new instrumentation and song structures, even if the resulting compositions would force the band to adapt their storied live set, known for its tenacity and technical prowess. Throughout the songwriting process, the band pulled from their deep well of creative references, drawing on the likes of Leonard Cohen, Ennio Morricone, Sade, classic French noir L'Ascenseur Pour L'Echafraud, as well as Southern Gothic stalwarts Flannery O'Connor and Harry Crews. Once the building blocks were set in place, they met with producer Drew Vandenberg, who mixed Shadow On Everything, in Athens, GA to record the foundation of Stray. After recruiting friends Adam Markiewicz (The Dreebs) on violin, Sean Smith (Klavenauts) on trumpet and a crucial blend of backing vocals by Drew Citron (Public Practice) and Anina Ivry-Block (Palberta), Bambara convened in a remote cabin in rural Georgia, where Reid laid down his vocals. The finished product represents both the band's most experimental and accessible work to date. The addition of Citron and Ivory-Block's vocals create a hauntingly beautiful contrast to Bateh's commanding baritone on tracks like 'Sing Me to the Street', 'Death Croons' and 'Stay Cruel," while the Dick Dale inspired guitar riffs on 'Serafina' and "Heat Lightning" and the call-and-response choruses throughout the album showcase Bambara's ability to write songs that immediately demand repeat listens. While the music itself is evocative and propulsive, a fever dream all of its own, the lyrical content pushes the record even further into its own darkly thrilling realm. If the songs on Shadow On Everything were like chapters in a novel, then this time they're short stories. Short stories connected by death and its effect on the characters in contact with it. 'Death is what you make it' runs a lyric in 'Sweat,' a line which may very well be the thread that ties these stories together. But it would be wrong to characterize Stray as simply the sound of the graveyard. Light frequently streams through and, whether refracted through the love and longing found on songs like 'Made for Me' or the fantastical nihilism on display in tracks like the anthemic 'Serafina,' reveals this album to be the monumental step forward that it is. Here Bambara sound like they've locked into what they were always destined to achieve, and the effect is nothing short of electrifying.

Home Counties make melodically rigid, socially-charged anthems that are both lyrically tongue-in-cheek and scathingly satirical. The quintet who were previously known as Haze, combine angular guitar work with furious percussion and have toured with the likes of Shame, Sports Team and Pip Blom. Their debut EP Redevelopment on has had radio support from Huw Stephens and Jack Saunders (BBC Radio 1), Tom Robinson (BBC 6 Music) and Matt Wilkinson (Beats 1).

Toronto’s Ducks Ltd. (formerly Ducks Unlimited), the bright jangle-pop duo of Tom McGreevy (lead vocal, guitar, bass, keyboards) and Evan Lewis (guitar, bass, drum programming), accomplish the impossible. The pair craft songs that play to very specific inspirations without drowning underneath them—immediately evidenced on their critically acclaimed EP, Get Bleak, and sharpened on Modern Fiction, their debut LP. “The Servants, The Clean, The Chills, The Bats, Television Personalities, Felt,” Evan rattles off. “Look Blue Go Purple is one I reference a lot with our production.” Echoes of ‘80s indiepop abound, but they never overwhelm. This is not a nostalgic record, after all, nor is it a derivative one. Instead, across 10 cheery-sounding songs, Ducks Ltd. explore contemporary society in decline, examining large scale human disaster through personal turmoil (hence the title, taken from a university course called Gnosticism and Nihilism in Modern Fiction, influenced by Graham Greene novels. Conan is a British doom metal band from Liverpool (UK) with multiple album releases so far. The sonic experience is characterized by heavily distorted and down-tuned sounds. The official label of the band is Napalm Records.

A bewitching sense of foreboding builds as his fingers touch the piano, and as he begins to sing, we are immersed in his darkly lyrical and evocative stories. His wry poetry is stitched seamlessly to peculiar arrangements that are simultaneously unsettling and familiar. Mr. James lures us into a devious world where the gods tear wings from angels and every man has a siren waiting to devour him. Mr. James'’gift for songwriting is singular. The songs on his first full-length album, The Owl & The Elephant range from beautifully sad to frightening and furious, and his performances are tailored to match. His style is theatrical, but never contrived.

Cleveland Punk Rock band Heart Attack Man write the soundtrack to 'figuring it out'. Rife with intricate riffs, gleefully catchy choruses, robust rhythms, and a whole lot of outcast charm. Their music turns all the awkwardness of growing up into undeniable and unpredictable anthems, teetering on an axis of punk, rock and pop.

Nell Mescal is a 20-year-old singer and songwriter from Maynooth in Kildare, Ireland. She has been singing all her life and has been performing in groups and choirs for as long as she can remember. This young emerging talent began writing music when she was just 13 years old and finally took the decision to make music her career during the pandemic, something that in hindsight, has given her the time and space to focus on her sound and what she wants to articulate in her songs.

Ashley Henry is a hip hop and jazz pianist from South London. One of a new generation of musicians that have been raised with a wide range of influences, Ashley is clearly influenced by hip-hop but has his roots firmly in jazz. Having embarked on world tours with Loyle Carner and Christine & The Queens, Henry has a growing international profile.

Mclusky (often stylized as mclusky), originally known as Best, were a three-piece post-hardcore group formed in Cardiff, Wales. The group consisted of Englishman Andrew "Falco" Falkous (vocals, guitar) from Newcastle Upon Tyne, Jonathan Chapple (bass, vocals) and Jack Egglestone (drums), who replaced previous drummer Matthew Harding in late 2003. According to the band, they originally formed in 1996 when Falkous and Harding met at the Blackwood Miners Institute, a venue in their home town. The pair met Chapple a short time afterwards at the Reading Festival when they caught him urinating on their tent late in the night. More realistically it has been suggested that Falkous and Harding met when working together at Anglian Windows, a small double-glazing call centre in Cardiff. They discussed their musical ambitions after a conversation about Reading Festival, Falkous gave Harding a tape of songs he had written on his own, and shortly after they formed a band called Best after early Beatles drummer Pete Best. The original bass player for Best was Geraint Bevan, Harding's old musical comrade from The Derelicts. Best existed in this form for almost a year before Bevan left to concentrate on his acting career, but not before Best had played a show with a band called 'Myrtle', which featured the bass guitarist Jon Chapple. Shortly after the departure of Bevan, the remaining two members managed to convince Chapple to join the band; this was based on the strength of the three track demo Best had recently finished at 'Ocean Studios' in Cardiff (this cassette which was sold by the band themselves was the unofficial debut, entitled the Benedict EP). Best signed to London label Seriously Groovy and released their official debut record, the 3-track single "Huwuno". The band changed its name to Mclusky in 1999, releasing their first full-length album My Pain and Sadness is More Sad and Painful Than Yours in 2000 on the Fuzzbox imprint before drawing international attention with their critically praised second album Mclusky Do Dallas in 2002. In 2004 they released their third album The Difference Between Me and You Is That I'm Not on Fire to positive reviews. They worked frequently with recording engineer Steve Albini.

Making her stage debut in April 2019 and selling out her first headline show at London’s prestigious Southbank Centre over a year later, A.A. Williams has hit the ground running. Similarly, the acclaim for her performances and her music has been unanimous from the start. After one self-titled EP and the 10” vinyl collaboration Exit in Darkness with Japanese post-rockers MONO, the London-based singer-songwriter has signed to Bella Union and made a stunning debut album, Forever Blue. A rapturous blend of post-rock and post-classical, Forever Blue smoulders with uncoiling melodies and haunted atmospheres, shifting from serenity to explosive drama, often within the same song. Williams is a fantastic musician as well as songwriter, playing the guitar, cello and piano, and her voice has the controlled delivery of a seasoned chanteuse whilst still channelling the rawest of emotions.

LOVE IS NOISE is an exercise in empathy, both lyrically and musically. The band’s Century Media debut, To live in a different way, straddles the roughshod riffing and volume of their DIY origins while embracing shoegaze-facing melodiousness, hints of Brit-pop, and a beating (and bleeding) heart erupting from Cam Humphrey’s plaintive vocals. Co-produced by the band with engineer Kel Pinchin and mixed by John Markson (Drug Church, Drain, The Story So Far), To live in a different way is a startling debut album. From the opening track, “Devotion,” where Humphrey’s voice invokes passion and positivity, to the second track, “Soft Glow,” the album’s first single where he croons, “You are the one that shines on me,” before launching into a throat-shredding exaltation of emotion amidst a crushing battery of slashing guitars and battering drums, it’s clear from the onset that LOVE IS NOISE’s heartbeat is a thunderous one. Formed and incubated in Bloomington, IN before moving west to scrap with Los Angeles’ garage rock rabble, the band evolved from cavern-clawed echo merchants to architects of prog-infected psych epics that evoke a shift in reality.

James Yorkston celebrates the release of his new album The Route to the Harmonium; produced by Yorkston and David Wrench, it is James’ first solo record since 2014’s Cellardyke Recording and Wassailing Society (CRAWS) and follows the two collaborative albums he made as one third of Yorkston/Thorne/Khan as well as the release of his debut novel Three Craws in 2016. James Yorkston has been releasing music on Domino Records since 2002 – His debut album ‘Moving Up Country’ being ‘Rough Trade’s Album of the Year’. James was an integral original member of the much lauded and hugely influential Fence Collective (King Creosote, Pictish Trail, KT Tunstall, Beta Band etc). James’ first steps out of Fife as a solo artist were made in 2001 after he sent a demo cassette to folk-rock legend John Martyn asking for a support slot on the Edinburgh date of John’s upcoming tour, only for John to hear the cassette and offer James all 31 dates of the tour.

Born in East London to both Angolan & Congolese parents, Jay's musical journey ignited in the heart of the church, where he mastered the piano, bass, and guitar. By 14 or 15, his passion for poetry and upbringing in Newham—where everyone at school was rapping—sparked his deep dive into music.

Fievel Is Glauque is the project of American bandleading keyboardist Zach Phillips and French singer Ma Clément -- the jazzy outfit plays seriously fun and charming sets.

Wine Lips is a Toronto-based garage-punk-psych band formed in 2015 by Cam Hilborn (vocals, songwriter, guitar) and Aurora Evans (drums). Initially a part-time project, they transitioned to a full-time band and have achieved international recognition. Their music is characterized by energetic, high-octane riffs and sneering vocals, often described as psych-pop, acid rock, and noise prog.

In support of his upcoming single, My Kinda Girl, Scott Lavene has announced an 11 date UK tour throughout September. My Kinda Girl is the third in a series of singles put out this year that will pave the way for his forthcoming debut album in 2019. Born in Essex, Scott Lavene was raised on power ballads, punk and swearing. In bands since his teens, Scott travelled about, scratching out a living with deadbeat jobs trying to find something to cling to. After couple of years in France and a brief stint in New York, including a playing at the infamous CBGB's Scott returned to London and came close to a major label deal with his sordid songs. Instead Scott disappeared on a rusty old boat, a floating shed, for five years. Hiding from the world. Broke and bemused. Solitude and lonely debauchery. After five years of this Scott went kaput, so spent some time in a house for the bewildered where he emerged full of life and songs. A self released album in a band called Big Top Heartbreak led to being signed to Funnel Music as a solo artist. The first single, 'It's All Gonna Blow' has been played by Steve Lamacq on his BBC 6Music show and Scott had a residency at the Brighton Fringe as well as a sell out show at Crofters Rights in Bristol for the 7inch vinyl release show.

Indie/emo ensemble Lakes are set to release their new album Slow Fade, their fourth since their inception in 2018. Widely known for their self-coined ‘glock-rock’ sound and mainstays of Watford’s DIY scene and beyond, the six piece have explored a wealth of sonic shifts: from midwest emo inspired by their heroes American Football to math-rock time signatures and post-rock guitar melodies teeming with dark and vulnerable undertones. Now the band are finding contentment within themselves by shifting the narrative to characters unknown using an array of vivid yet nostalgic lyricism. Presented by Beth Shalom. SNAYX were formed from a mosh pit. Sure, the Brighton & Sheffield based trio have been in other bands before, dabbling in everything from indie rock to ska, but those groups never incited the communal carnage that Charlie Herridge, Ollie Horner and Lainey Loops crave. So they formed SNAYX, originally a two-piece, now a three. For a good chunk of time though, SNAYX was more of an idea than an actual band since the pair were too busy going to as many gigs as possible, rather than working on things like songs. They’d talk about SNAYX to anyone who would listen though, hungry to be part of the scene. And then in the smoking area of a Brighton venue, Hastings punks Kid Kapichi invited them to open for them. Of course, SNAYX said yes, despite the fact they didn’t have a finished song between them. That changed over a frantic few days, where all of those conversations about ethos, influence and intention quickly turned into a furious 30-minutes of music. The gig went better than it had any right to, and SNAYX were born. A series of support slots followed, alongside a very DIY headline tour. “That’s when everything clicked into place,” says Charlie. “Onstage we really understood what it was, and what it could be.”

Admiral Fallow (Louis Abbott, Kevin Brolly, Phil Hague, Sarah Hayes and Joe Rattray) released their much-beloved debut album, Boots Met My Face, in 2011 and its widely acclaimed successor, Tree Bursts In Snow, the following year. Their extraordinary third record, Tiny Rewards, was released in 2015. Heartbreakingly beautiful, sonically audacious and lyrically bewitching, it heralded a true progression in their creative approach. Over their 13 years together, the band have taken their music around the world, touring the UK, Europe, North America and Australia. They have never been known to rest on their laurels; further career highlights include numerous festival appearances, a commission from Glasgow Film Festival, performing with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and creating an ambitious new chamber opera. Navigate The Blood was co-written with Gareth Williams and Sian Evans and toured eight Scottish distilleries in November 2018. A group of versatile musicians all uniquely in demand for their skills, the individual band members also find the time to tour and record with renowned artists such as King Creosote, Emma Pollock, Field Music, Kris Drever, Karine Polwart and many others.

The Skinner Brothers is an English indie rock band based in London. In 2019, the band released a collection of songs, 25 to Life, followed by a 25 to Life Bonus Version, as well as the 27 to Life collection. In 2020, the band released the Soul Boy, Vol. 1 LP. Single releases include Nothing But an Actor (2018), Your Only You (2019), Away Days (2020) and Low (2020). In 2021, the band released two EPs, Iconic and Culture Non-Stop. The Iconic EP includes an acoustic version of Away Days featuring Rob Harvey of The Music and The Streets and Russell Pritchard of The Zutons and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds. The Iconic EP was accompanied by a video release for its title track, Iconic. Previously, the band released a music video for Away Days.
