Her eggs are hanging on like contestants in Gladiators... even her cultural references are old! The show is a hilarious account of the trials and tribulations of dating in a Tinder reality after growing up in a kissing-in-the-disco world. Inevitably she begins to ask – what's wrong with me? S J Wyatt / Free Festival Comedian and storyteller SJ brings a bittersweet, interactive show about how Doctor Who helped them come to terms with being a bipolar, queer, neurodiverse, wannabe activist. Out of the closet into the TARDIS. SJ is a bisexual, bipolar, geeky queer activist. Each of these things have a coming out story. SJ and the audience create SJ’s coming out experiences as an episode of Doctor Who. Wyatt and the audience, using heavily bejewelled props, create sound effects, shape the narrative and choose their own monster. Viva la revolution! Unless it clashes with Doctor Who. A comic tour of the medieval world with daft professor of medieval studies Luke Connell and his games, props and songs. Get to know creatures like sea-centipedes and manticores, dogs with names like Havegoodday, and characters like Eilmer the flying monk. Discover the old worlds taste in tourist tat, and expect to leave convinced that medieval medicine was better than the modern kind. Or maybe not. Luke Connell is a professor of medieval French literature at Durham University and a stand-up comedian. He is a regular panelist on the Stand Comedy Club Newcastles monthly show Nerds Just Wanna Have Fun.
