An Afternoon With the Claire Hamill Band
Claire Hamill is a pioneering British singer-songwriter whose career has gracefully traversed folk, rock, ambient and progressive genres for over five decades. Launching her debut at just 17 with One House Left Standing (1971), she quickly earned comparisons to Joni Mitchell while forging a deeply individual artistic voice. In the 1970s she released celebrated albums such as October, Stage Door Johnnies and Abracadabra, and toured with John Martyn, Procol Harum, Jethro Tull and King Crimson. She went on to collaborate widely, contributing vocals to Steve Howe's The Steve Howe Album, Jon & Vangelis's The Friends of Mr Cairo, the jazz-fusion group Morrissey-Mullen, and Wishbone Ash. Her solo career pushed into bold new territory with Touchpaper (1984) and the groundbreaking Voices (1986), a wordless vocal album that anticipated the rise of ambient and new age music. Her work has been featured widely on television and film, with her songs covered by international artists. In the 2000s Claire returned to a prolific run of albums including The Lost & the Lovers (2004), When Daylight Arrives (2015), Over Dark Apples (2019), A Pocket Full of Love Songs (2022) and most recently Troubadour (2025). She also recorded two albums with the progressive rock band Fragile (Golden Fragments, 2020, and Beyond, 2021), contributing lead vocals to their Yes-inspired original material. Now performing with the Claire Hamill Band, she brings fresh energy to her songwriting and live shows, continuing to evolve as one of Britain's most distinctive and enduring independent artists. Pandamoanium and Splink

Pandamoanium and Splink

14 Jun 2026 - 14 Jun 2026

PANDAMOANIUM are an instrumental melody driven Progressive trio from Canterbury, blending rock, alternative rock, post rock, hard rock, folk and ambient into a genre-defying sound. Emerging in 2016, they have played many multiple band gigs and festivals sharing the stage with such luminaries as Soft Machine, A Formal Horse, Atomic Rooster, Splink, IT, Soulweaver, Pearl Handled Revolver, Famyne and many more. SPLINK are proud to play what they describe as no rules music. As they put it themselves: "WHAT IS NO RULES MUSIC WELL, WE PLAY MUSIC FROM THE HEART THAT IS SOMETIMES AGGRESSIVE, SOMETIMES LAID BACK, SOMETIMES JAZZY, WE SEE NO REASON WHY TO STICK TO RULES ABOUT HOW CERTAIN MUSICAL GENRE SHOULD BE PLAYED, IF IT SOUNDS GOOD AND TOUCHES THE SOUL THEN WHY NOT. THE ONE THING THAT TIES US TOGETHER IS THE LOVE OF AND JOY OF MUSIC AND IF YOU PLAY WITH AN OPEN HEART AND MIND THEN HOPEFULLY THE AUDIENCE WILL FEEL THE HONESTY OF THE MUSIC AND COME ALONG FOR THE RIDE, COME AND ENJOY THE JOURNEY WITH US." Splink's third album, Taklamakan, is due for release this year. [Splink] merged Prog with Folk and elements of jazz and classical. Fast and fiery fiddle lines interweaved with the guitar lines over the top of a solid rhythm section. The jagged rhythms and angular lead lines .worked well and at different points during the set Vikki Ings violin playing reminded slightly of Geoffrey Richardson's playing in Caravan. Fiery folk met intricate prog, and the melding of the two worked well. A splendid set - At the Barrier.com THE CAMDEN CLUB is one of London's newest and most exciting intimate venues (opposite The Roundhouse in Camden/Chalk Farm). Logan Paul Murphy is already making a name for himself in the music industry. It all started when Murphy was spotted busking on the streets of Liverpool by the world famous Cavern Club management and asked to do a set on the famous stage where it all began for The Beatles. He is still the youngest ever person to do a full set in The Cavern to this day. Following this Logan has been invited to play at the prestigious International Beatleweek in Liverpool for the last four years running and is a firm audience favourite.

The Gift and the Round Window

The Gift and the Round Window

22 Nov 2026 - 22 Nov 2026

THE GIFT are regarded by some as the best kept secret in progressive and art rock. Back in the early noughties their first album Awake & Dreaming impressed those in the know with its heady mixture of 70s style and contemporary soundscapes. Then there was silence...until the band reformed and released 2014's Land of Shadows, an ambitious song suite packed with strong melodies and multi-layered instrumental workouts. In 2016 The Gift released their 3rd album, Why The Sea Is Salt, which Prog magazine described as a masterpiece. It fused symphonic, long form suites with tasteful shorter songs, and featured luminaries Steve Hackett and Anthony Phillips as guest musicians. In 2019 The Gift released their 4th album Antenna, which was even harder hitting than before whilst still retaining their signature sound. Then the pandemic brought silence, as well as lineup changes. But it didnt stop the songs. For the last few years The Gift has been busy creating and recording their 5th album Seven Seasons. Inspired by Shakespeare's ode to our mortal experience, it explores the stages of life from birth until the end of days. Like the human condition it speaks to, the album spans a wide range of situations, emotions, and atmospheres. It takes the listener on an emotional journey through infancy, the adrenaline charge of youth, romance & marriage, the storms of mid-life, and the poignancy of our autumn years. Expect strong hooks, incisive lyrics and musical tours-de-force along the way. Live, The Gift gives a committed and fiery performance. Frontman Mike Morton delivers their musical stories with passion and panache. Cristiano Tortoioli plays intelligent, powerful guitar and Keith Buckman plus Chris Taylor (on bass and drums respectively) are a formidable rhythm section. Eliot Minn supplies the keyboards, contributing a sound influenced by the greats but with a distinctive, often jazz-inflected voicing of his own. The Gift is one of the most arresting live acts on the UK scene right now. Just dont expect rock cliché. As Mike says: Dont come to us for songs about cars and girls. The Gift are back in the saddle, ready to raise the roof at venues and festivals throughout 2026. The Gift belong in the higher echelons of the current British progressive rock scene. (Leo Trimming/The Progressive Aspect). The Gift are modest masters of the genre. Theyre one of my favourite bands. (Anthony Phillips). The Gift take exactly what they need from the past, honouring rather than cloning, and employ it in unique fashion. They ably transition from a folkish-country sound to hard rock, then into more art-rock territory, all the while remaining fully in control of their own voice. (Brad Birzer/Progarchy). THE ROUND WINDOW is a band from the East Anglia/Midlands area of the UK, playing rock that is a melting pot of classic, melodic and progressive influences with a focus on narrative storytelling. Formed in 2019, the band have released two full albums - a self-titled debut in 2022 and the follow up, Everywhere and Nowhere in 2023 - and a mini-album, Fram, in late 2024. Each of these have received strong reviews and were all independently self-released and are available through Bandcamp. The debut is now out of print and only available as a digital download. Following a few adjustments the band's lineup has now solidified and consists of; Gareth Cole - guitars and vocals Jack Lock - drums and vocals Rich Lock - vocals Thomas Lock - keyboards and vocals Dan Stubbs - bass and vocals. In 2025 the band played two festivals in the UK - Prog For Peart & Summer's End - and were delighted to be invited to support Franck Carducci and The Fantastic Squad at the 1865 in Southampton. They received positive plaudits for the performances and praise for the power, warmth and musicianship on display. They have also been booked to play at 2026's Nene Valley Rock Festival and are actively looking for more dates stretching into 2026. The band are currently working on material for a third album which will be the first with the current line-up. +++++ THE CAMDEN CLUB is one of London's newest and most exciting intimate venues (opposite The Roundhouse in Camden/Chalk Farm). Substance at the Camden Club Featuring – Dea Velata
Dea Velata Gabby Abularach Guitars Angela Hicks Vocals Tiggy Bass Ray Hearne Drums Teiger Fast-moving London trio Teiger have been described as enigmatic musical shapeshifters channelling psychedelic rock, textured folk, and soft, progressive metal to create collagist, atmospheric sounds that truly defy description. With an arresting blend of power and intimacy, the band has gathered an impressive number of accolades despite only launching in 2022 - plays from BBC6's Stu Maconie and BBC Introducing, a sold out vinyl release via Rough Trade, nominations for HRH Best New Band, Radio Wigwam's Best Indie Rock award, as well as strong support from the press with features in Fireworks, Powerplay, PROG, Classic Rock and more.... The band has quickly become known on the UK festival circuit with appearances at Cambridge Rock, Portals, Nene Valley, HRH, Soundle and Winter's End Teiger is led by the siren-like vocals and unorthodox guitar playing of Talie Rose Eigeland, whose unusual approach is often likened to that of Beth Gibbons, Jeff Buckley or Grace Slick. Against these are juxtaposed the sometimes intricate, sometimes thunderous patterns of drummer Jon Steele and the highly melodic, equally unorthodox bass playing of Phillip Eldridge-Smith. Where many rock bands would choose a distorted sound to create tension, Teiger's playful ferocity relies instead on dynamic contrast, haunting major-minor tugs and carefully crafted parts from all three players to create a captivating and intensely symbiotic atmosphere. HamaSaari Artisans of a sound both massive and delicate, HamaSaari bring together elements of both classic and contemporary progressive rock. Drawing inspiration from acts such as Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree and Karnivool, they carefully shape and refine a musical and sensory journey. The band draws us into a storm-laden ritual, evoking imagery like falling raindrops scattered through a dark, clouded atmosphere, yet pierced by welcome glimmers of hope.
