Pernille Haaland: Work In Progress

14 Apr 2026 - 14 Apr 2026

Join award-winning comedian Pernille Haaland as she tries out brand-new jokes for her upcoming Edinburgh Fringe show. The show explores what it means to become an adult, look back at your life, and realise it includes failing as a screenwriter in Norway, performing stand-up for NATO, and trying to reconnect with your Nordic roots while your idea of “home” keeps slipping away. It’s also a tribute to her Norwegian grandad, her Nordic heritage, and the strange feeling of honouring where you come from while never quite belonging anywhere. In the age of war, Pernille is fully armed with reproductive rights, confronting far-right ideas about what women should be, and proving - repeatedly - that she is not docile, not decorative. She will never knit. A funny, thoughtful, occasionally furious work-in-progress about identity, failure, politics, and becoming yourself by accident. Turning all of it into jokes before it turns into despair. “Confident and consistently good” ★★★★ One4Review “Haaland is hilarious”★★★★ Time Out “Sheer ludicrous fun” - The List “Exotic distinctiveness” - Chortle “Roaringly funny... incredibly talented” ★★★★★ Broadway Baby “Captivating, spontaneous, surprising & delightful” ★★★★ Fringe Biscuit “Fantastic comedy”★★★★ Everything Theatre “Stand-out star” ★★★★ The Public Review Presented by Pernille Haaland This is an 18+ event

Peter Jones: Performs Stand-up Comedy
My name's Peter Jones. I'm an Australian stand-up comedian. I live in the UK now. I've performed stand-up on TV (Comedy Up Late), I've got like six lines in a Netflix series (Why Are You Like This?), I've written for a bunch of TV shows (they're all in Australia so you probably haven't heard of them), I've won some awards since moving to the UK (the 2023 Beat the Frog World series), and I won some before I left (the 2022 Kings of Comedy Comedian of the Year). More importantly than all of that - this show is funny and you should come along. If you're not convinced here are some nice things some people wrote about me: "His comedy game is hitting all sorts of ridiculous high notes at the moment." - Pedestrian.tv "Jones packs jokes within jokes." - Funny Tonne "\[His\] jokes are deftly crafted." - Chortle "Hugely and uniquely funny." - Web Wombat Pretty good. Also, how funny is it that one of my quotes is from a website called Web Wombat? And I have to keep putting that name in show descriptions because the quote is good. I have to be like, see, I'm good at comedy, Web Wombat said so. Anyway, I'll see you at the show. Presented by Peter Jones This is an 18+ event

Zoe Brownstone: Work In Progress

9 Jun 2026 - 9 Jun 2026

An award-nominated Canadian comedian living in London presents an unauthorized survival guide for staying hopeful while everything quietly falls apart. How To Be Happy All The Time is an absurd, spiralling hour about hard choices, ill-advised intimacy, and family drama that feels legally distinct from a soap opera. It’s a show about chasing happiness like it’s a competitive sport - and losing beautifully. Strange, honest, and joyfully unhinged. Richard Stott: Streets Won't Forget (preview)

Tom Ballard: Be Funny Challenge (impossible) [wip]
Melbourne comedy festival & Edinburgh comedy award nominee As seen on Fisk and Deadloch. As heard on Radio 4 and The Bugle. After a year away from touring, doing nothing but being nice and uncontroversial, Australia's Special Envoy For Comedy Tom Ballard returns in 2026 with a new show packed with jokes about war and being naughty and being kind and just how extremely normal everything is right now. You should definitely come along. What's the worst that could happen???? "One of the slickest hours of stand-up I've ever seen." Adam Hills "Fierce and funny...Ballard is a dynamo - a whirling, toe-curling bundle of energy, who is as politically powerful as he is fantastically funny." ½ Arts Hub "A relentless whirl of opinion, silliness, and increasingly bad-taste jokes against those who most deserve it." ½ Chortle \[UK\] "He cuts a faintly ludicrous, pathetic figure" The Scotsman \[UK\] "To call Ballard a comedian is being kind.....All he has is a potty mouth" hair stew, Daily Mail commenter Presented by IAM This is an 18+ event

Uh oh!!!It’s got stories and silent bits and loud bits and gossip bits and I think it’s my stupidest smartest one yet.I’d love for you to be there to help me figure things out. If you’d like that, do come along! Lara Ricote is a Mexican-American-Venezuelan stand up comedian and writer whose debut show, GRL/LATNX/DEF, won the Best Newcomer Award at the 2022 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Love Yourself

Love Yourself

13 May 2026 - 13 May 2026

My last relationship started like a rom-com and ended like a psychological thriller. In a world where the “manosphere” and what it promotes is often behind some of the worst relationship toxicity, this is very much not that story. I found myself on the other side of the script, in a relationship that could make Shiv Roy seem like Mother Teresa. I ended up changing so much about myself, from how I dressed, spoke, to how I used the toilet, and found myself in situations where playing "boar on the floor" would've felt completely normal. This show is my comedic deep dive into how even the most self-assured people can get lost and what it means to redefine yourself. Funny, raw, and flipping the script on what it means to be a man today, this stand up show is for anyone who’s ever lost themselves in love and found the humour in clawing their way back......Even if she was right about me wearing an earring.
