She Drew The Gun

She Drew The Gun

Over three studio albums and nearly a decade, Wirral-born Louisa Roach has built She Drew The Gun into a project that fully lives up to its incendiary name. A place for Roach to explore a visceral musical world informed by influences ranging 80's electronica, hip-hop, political poetry, and cosmic scouse psychedelia epitomised by hometown heroes The Coral (whose lead singer James Skelly took her under his wing during She Drew The Guns early days), lyrically its found her taking aim at the wild injustices she was persistently seeing in the world at large, decrying corrupt conservative governments and rallying for a more empathetic way of living.
Transmission: The Sound of Joy Division
Devoted to recreating the atmosphere of a live Joy Division gig, Transmission emulate the sound of one of the most inventive, evocative and influential groups of their era. Joy Division were formed in the late 1970s and dissolved in 1980 after the suicide of lead singer Ian Curtis. The remaining members went on to form New Order and have achieved much critical and commercial success. The influence of Joy Division, however, was far reaching. They were considered the pioneering band of the post-punk movement of the late 1970s and early 1980s. Forty three years on you can relive the dark, cavernous sound of Joy Division through Transmission - the UK's number one Joy Division tribute act.
Canaan Cox

Canaan Cox

24 May 2025 - 24 May 2025

Canaan Coxis the definition of a triple threat - artist, actor and dancer. His music is a fusion of contemporary country, pop and a hint of rhythm and blues, which is no surprise as he grew up in a musical household. Originally from North Carolina, his father blasted Conway Twitty records while his mother toured the southeast with her band, and his seven sisters ensured he had a healthy dose of pop music. Cox went on to earn his BFA in Musical Theatre from Catawba College which allows him a unique musical perspective that influences everything he does today, from writing original music to his performance during live shows. Cox moved to Nashville in the fall of 2016, and began playing the downtown bars on Broadway. During a chance encounter in 2021, Cox met radio and television personalityBobby Bones, who loved his hustle and invited Cox to appear on his show, reaching over 9.2 million listeners. His last single As You Leave (January 2022) received critical acclaim with marquee playlisting on Spotify including New Boots, Wild Country, Breakout Country, Next from Nashville, Apples New in Country, and was highlighted in Amazons Breakthrough Country playlist. Following the outpouring of support he received on the Bobby Bones Show, his song was spotlighted on theCountry Top 30. This momentum led Cox to a phenomenal year of streaming, seeing incredible 10x growth in 2022. His latest project End Up In A Song highlights his craft as a songwriter and sounds that blends his unique styles of music. In addition, Cox is currently touring internationally through the US and UK touring his album Let It Run.

The Nightingales

The Nightingales

21 May 2025 - 30 May 2025

Described in John Robb's definitive book on 'post punk' (Death To Trad Rock) as 'The misfits' misfits' and comprising an ever fluctuating line-up, based around lyricist/singer Robert Lloyd, the Nightingales enjoyed cult status in the early 80s as darlings of the credible music scene and were championed by John Peel, who said of them: 'Their performances will serve to confirm their excellence when we are far enough distanced from the 1980s to look at the period rationally and other, infinitely better known, bands stand revealed as charlatans.' The group recorded a bunch of critically acclaimed singles (almost always 'Single Of The Week' in the music press) and three albums, plus many radio sessions for their great supporter Peel. They also regularly toured the UK and Northern Europe, as headliners and supporting acts as diverse as Bo Diddley and Nico. Since re-grouping in 2000 they have played Glasto, SXSW etc and headlined Stewart Lee’s Austerity Binge on London’s Southbank.

Discharge

Discharge

20 Dec 2025 - 20 Dec 2025

“Can you hear the sound of an enormous door slamming in the depths of hell…?”Not only is this the chilling description given of a nuclear detonation during one of the sound-bite samples on the first Discharge album, but it’s also a perfect description of the Stoke, UK-based punk band that turned the world of underground music on its head with their primal bursts of uncompromising speed and aggression. Formed in the late Seventies Discharge changed the face of punk – and indeed extreme music itself – with their stunning ‘Realities Of War’ EP, a four-song outpouring of pure intensity that boiled punk down to its basic components of rage, frustration and violent rebellion. Discharge stumbled upon a sound that was so ugly, it was beautiful; so horrifying, it was irresistible – and it ushered in a whole new wave of gnarlier, nastier UK punk, and ultimately paved the way for hardcore and thrash.

Black Flag

Black Flag

20 Jun 2025 - 22 Jun 2025

In many ways, Black Flag was the definitive Los Angeles hardcore punk band. Although their music flirted with heavy metal and experimental noise and jazz more than that of most hardcore bands, they defined the image and the aesthetic. Through their ceaseless touring, the band cultivated the American underground punk scene; every year, Black Flag played in every area of the U.S., influencing countless numbers of bands. Although their recording career was hampered by a draining lawsuit, which was followed by a seemingly endless stream of independently released records, Black Flag was unquestionably one of the most influential American post-punk bands. A full decade and a half before the fusion of punk and metal became popular, Black Flag created a ferocious, edgy, and ironic amalgam of underground aesthetics and gut-pounding metal. Their lyrics alluded to social criticism and a political viewpoint, but it was all conveyed as seething, cynical angst, which was occasionally very funny. Furthermore, Black Flag demonstrated an affection for bohemia -- both in terms of musical experimentation and a fondness for poetry -- that reiterated the band's underground roots and prevented it from becoming nothing but a heavy metal group. And it didn't matter who was in the band -- throughout the years, the lineup changed numerous times -- because the Black Flag name and four-bar logo became punk institutions.

The Sheepdogs

The Sheepdogs

27 May 2025 - 29 May 2025

For a new album that The Sheepdogs didn't initially set out to make, Changing Colours is a stunning achievement. Proud purveyors of guitar-driven modern-day retro rock, the triple Juno Award-winning Saskatoon-based quintet has expanded its sound on Changing Colours to encompass more styles and hues to enhance the Sheepdogs' trademark beef-and-boogie twin-axe riffs, hooks, shuffles and long-haired aesthetic. 'We identify strongly with rock 'n roll, but there's definitely some branching out,' says Ewan Currie, The Sheepdogs' singer, guitarist, songwriter and occasional and yes, you're reading this correctly clarinetist. 'The sounds we use on this there's more keyboards featuring Shamus and more stringed instruments. It's still rock 'n roll but there are more colours.' It's also great, passionate music born out of spontaneity: first resonating in the 17-song album's euphoric opener Nobody and continuing to flavour such invigorating numbers as the electrifying Saturday Night and the driving I've Got A Hole Where My Heart Should Be, the record's infectious first single. But The Sheepdogs haven't only stretched their sonic palate: they've also expanded stylistically, tastefully embracing other genres as well. There's the country-lite feel of Let It Roll, the Stax-soul aura of the mid-tempo anthem I Ain't Cool that features trombone and the resplendent Latin-rock vibe that fuels The Big Nowhere. This is a 14+ show. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Kris Barras Band’s Death Valley Paradise crashed into the Official UK Album Charts at #27 in March 2022 - their highest charting album yet. Hailing a new beginning, they are heavier and darker than ever. “Dead Horses,” “My Parade,” “Who Needs Enemies” and “Chaos” were all A-listed at Planet Rock Radio and spent multiple weeks as the most played songs on the station. Guitarist Magazine hailed Barras as “reminiscent of shredders like Zakk Wylde”, and Classic Rock applauded the “pummelling riffs and from-the-gut vocals show his hard-rock colours at their brightest.” The moment they announced the first single, “Dead Horses”, they changed gear and have not looked back. From a UK tour with Back Stone Cherry in 2021 – culminating with a show at the Royal Albert Hall, before they then supported The Darkness for two special nights at London’s Shepherd Bush Empire. They spent March 2022 taking on, venue-wise, their biggest UK headline tour, selling out shows along the way. They then took on the massive stage of London’s Wembley Arena in support of Thunder and sailed through a triumphant Download festival debut on the second stage this summer. The ex-MMA/Cage fighter Barras has played the London Palladium, mainstages at festivals such as Planet Rockstock, Ramblin’ Man Fair and countless sold-out UK headline tours whilst picking up awards, multiple BBC Radio 2 sessions, critical acclaim and a fervent fanbase along the way.

Vision Video

Vision Video

23 Jun 2025 - 23 Jun 2025

Vision Video is a post-punk goth rock band from Athens, Georgia that injects modern malaise into classic sounds of the late 70's and 80's. The band pays homage to classics like the Chameleons and The Cure, while also bringing a refreshing modern element to the genre. Thematically their music explores the effects of trauma on the human psyche and finding stability and agency in an insane world. Having served in Afghanistan with the army and as a firefighter in the civilian world, lead singer and guitarist Dusty Gannon is no stranger to the darker proclivities of humanity and death itself. "I wanted to write music that helped people remember that it's okay to not be okay, but that also doesn't shy away from taking a stern look at the darker aspects of our flawed human existence." says Gannon. The band's first two records were met with much critical praise, such as that from Pitchfork stating they create "dreamy tune tailor-made for the sort of wallflower who sprints to the dancefloor the instant the DJ drops Age of Consent or Primary at Goth Night" Their debut LP "Inked in Red" and second LP "Haunted Hours", were recorded and mixed by Tom Ashton of The March Violets at his Sub Von Studios in Athens, Georgia. Vision Video will soon record their next LP "Modern Horror" at Maze Studios in Atlanta headed by Grammy award winning producer Ben Allen.
