Micah Sage/vital Throw/girl Dramatic/count Jaakola
Micah Sage is an alternative-pop artist from Calgary, Alberta, recognized for her signature blend of dreamy, soulful, and cinematic sounds. Over the pond for a Great Escape festival appearance and a Cav Presents debut, she has recently released her third glitter-pop EP 'GIRLFRIEND' in November 2025. https://linktr.ee/micahsage Vital Throw is the musical project of Niall Rush, a Northern Irish studio rat based in London. Written after a period of injury and recovery, the songs lean into intimate, intricate, hook-filled pop shaped by anxiety and personal experience. Think power pop for nerds. Now, with a killer (also queer) live band, Vital Throw are slowly lowering themselves into the very hot bath of releasing stuff and playing shows and all the other things. https://www.instagram.com/vitalthrowband/ Girl dramatic is the alt-pop project of London-based artist Fay. She has received strong support from BBC Radio, with Jodie Bryant naming her “one to watch,” while her single bedroom floor has earned continued airplay, a Future Hits A-List Top 10 spot, and a live premiere at The Waiting Room in Dalston. https://linktr.ee/girldramatic Count Jaakola is a DIY pop singer-songwriter originally from Finland. Their debut album, released in November via Tip Top Recordings, has received support from BBC 6 Music and The Line of Best Fit. Sylvie Grey & Claremont @ The Cavendish Arms
Bandmates and dear friends Sylvie Grey (the alias of songwriter Maya Bovill) and Claremont (Stockport-based musician James Green) co-headline The Cavendish Arms in June as part of a trio of dates around the UK. Grounded in lo-fi, folk-rock soundscapes, Sylvie Grey's debut double-track single Odes & Shadows was released on 12 May 2024. Written, arranged and recorded alone on a Tascam Porta 2 tape machine in quiet moments on her bedroom floor in Bristol, it introduced her intimate, DIY approach to sound creation and storytelling. 2026 opens a new chapter in Grey's career with the release of her debut EP, produced by Ali Chant [PJ Harvey, Aldous Harding, Katy J Pearson] and funded by Help Musicians' Next Level Award. Leaning into a richer, darker, and more electronic-infused sound, these upcoming tracks hint at the evolving landscapes waiting in Sylvie Grey's future work. Claremont has been a long-time creative outlet for James' electronic writing whilst studying and performing in a myriad of different outfits, including indie-rockers Spring King and Meadow Meadow. Now joined by bandmates Kieran Joyce (guitar) and James Holt (keys), James is able to get behind the drums and breathe new life into tracks that span the last decade and a half, inspired by the likes of Four Tet, Floating Points, Machinedrum and more.
Omam Dawn/ Cottonbeast And ~rj/ Victoria Major
UTOPIA GHOST × Thread Snake Collective Presents... Omam Dawn: Launch of Lions Do Swim Utopia Ghost release 004. Omam Dawn is a songwriter that brings weird worlds to life. Lions do swim is a gently surreal album of songs about dark saltwater and the upper sky, pink painted houses and the bus stops of romance and a diver who might never come up for air. This will be the first time performed live. cottonbeast & RJ Fusion of transglobal beats from the electronic undergrowth and the exotica of multi-instrumentation. London based duo cottonbeast and ~RJ bring a wrought and riveted experience of original music and soul stirring tonepoems. Victoria Major London based singer-songwriter. Her often impressionistic songs are like a nostalgic, mud-made, lonely-cut, version of The Sound of Music. Meandering, sometimes lost, but holding on tightly - heartbroken and in love all at once. Civil Villains + Blisssymbols + Pictures Of Fish
The Cav Presents Civil Villains, Pictures of Fish and Blisssymbols on the 14th May 2026. Civil Villains are an alt-rock/post-hardcore trio from southern England, known for blending intricate, off-kilter structures with raw, honest emotional weight. Their forthcoming second album, A Sleeper, Underneath (mid-2026), marks a shift toward something more open and instinctive. While still rooted in the band’s characteristic contrast - angular guitars, dynamic structures, and unpredictable rhythms - the new material leans into clarity, space, and emotional immediacy. Renowned for their raw live performances, Civil Villains have shared stages with Sparta, Listener, Poly-Math, Bellevue Days, and Kid Kapichi, and have toured independently across the UK and North America, including festival appearances in London, New York, and Quebec City. www.Civilvillains.Com Blisssymbols are an alt-rock two-piece forged on the South London scene. Their evolving sound bridges avant-garde experimentation with grounded, traditional songwriting. https://blisssymbols.Bandcamp.Com/ Pictures of Fish are an indie/ alt-rock band from Brighton with psychedelic and experimental influences. https://picturesoffish.bandcamp.com Presented by The Cav Presents. Charley Stone & The Actual Band + Spinster + Murder Bridge
Charley Stone (she/they) is a solo #Artist who also performs with an Actual Band. Debut album Here Comes The Actual Band is packed with garage-rock riffs and whimsical tales of procrastination and romantic yearning. It's available on Bandcamp and on other streaming platforms. Charley Stone's "totally solo" songs have a wistful quality with lots of reverb and layered harmonies gazing out of windows. With the Actual Band these songs gain a Modern Lovers garage-rock energy, as sung by someone like Tanya Donelly or Susannah Hoffs... or Moe Tucker... probably. Other as yet unfinished and unreleased albums include: quiet grrrl, End Times, and Fear Yourself. Also known as a touring guitarist, most recently with Sleeper, Art Brut and Desperate Journalist, the #Artist known as Charley Stone has been in all the bands, including but not limited to Salad, MX Tyrants, Gay Dad, Keith Top of the Pops & His Minor UK Indie Celebrity Baking Band, Linus, Fosca, Spy 51, Ye Nuns, Joanne Joanne, The Deptford Beach Babes, The Fallen Women, The Angry Bees, The Dumb Blondes, The Hive Fives, etc, etc, ad lib to fade... Lo-fi-Indie-Retro-popsters Spinster are an all-female four piece from London. Playing original songs that are instantly memorable, Spinster have been described as the missing link between Small Faces and Stereolab. Murder Bridge Drums and guitar. Angry and ridiculous. Shouting and shouting. @murderbridge Presented by The Cav Presents. This is an 18+ event
