11 Apr 2026 - 11 Apr 2026

Doors 6.30PM / Show 7.30- 11.00PM / Afterparty Until 01.00AM Blackstage Presents: Reclamation For three years, our shows ‘Blackstage’, ‘Rebellion’, ‘Community’, ‘Audacity’, and ‘0121’ have blown minds and amplified pole dancers of colour, turning the stage into a weapon of rebellion and a home for community and audacious self-expression. This year we rise with Reclamation. Our lands, our people, our art have been stolen. We’ve been displaced, erased, and forced to conform. Sex workers and Trans★ lives are under relentless attack. Enough. We reclaim our bodies, our art, our spaces. What is ours has always been ours and it WILL be reclaimed. An ensemble of extraordinary pole artists showcase their unique voices through movement, each performance a fresh creation. Be ready to immerse yourself in a whirlwind of artistry, intrigue, and wonder. Since 2020, Blackstage Pole has existed to disrupt an industry that erases, excludes, and discriminates against marginalised polers. We platform the brilliance of BIPOC dancers, especially those who are LGBTQIA+, disabled, plus-sized, or sex workers, and we do it on our terms. No one else elevates pole dance through theatre at this scale, with this excellence, and this unapologetic commitment to justice. Sugar

Sugar

23 May 2026 - 4 Jun 2026

Having already placed his indelible mark on the future direction of rock with Hüsker Dü, Bob Mould teamed with bassist David Barbe and drummer Malcolm Travis to found Sugar in late 1991, making their live debut early the next year at Athens, GA’s famed 40 Watt Club. Named by NME as its 1992 “Album of the Year,” Sugar’s now-classic debut album, Copper Blue, immediately proved a sensation, earning worldwide acclaim and landmark status for the melodic strength and intensely cathartic popcraft of songs like “A Good Idea,” “Helpless,” and the alternative rock radio hit and MTV favorite, “If I Can’t Change Your Mind.” The trio quickly found themselves performing on increasingly larger stages, including a legendary show-stealing set at London’s Great X-pectations Festival in Finsbury Park. With the wind at their back, Sugar unleashed Beaster in 1993, making a momentous debut at #3 on the UK’s Official Albums Chart as well as at #4 on Billboard’s “Heatseekers” chart in the US. Though recorded during the same sessions that yielded Copper Blue, the six-song mini-album evinced a more visceral energy and dark melancholy than its predecessor, highlighted by such pulverizing expressions of sacrilegious fury as “Judas Cradle” and “JC Auto.” 1994’s second full-length LP, File Under: Easy Listening once again made an explosive arrival among the top 10 on the UK Official Albums Chart, this time landing in the upper reaches of the overall Billboard 200. The album saw Sugar pushing boundaries yet again on songs like the country-flavored “Believe What You’re Saying” and the incendiary “Gee Angel,” tackling a wider range of musical approaches without sacrificing their signature intensity and unrestrained power. Despite their successes, Sugar called it a day following a Japanese tour in early 1995. A series of live recordings, reissues, and anthologies served to magnify the band’s legacy over the three decades since, confirming Sugar as incontrovertible masters of high-volume guitar-fueled rock for the ages. The original members of Sugar reconvened in June 2025. The first new song in over three decades, “House Of Dead Memories”, was released on October 15, 2025, with live shows to follow in 2026.

Le Mystère Des Voix Bulgares

Le Mystère Des Voix Bulgares

21 Apr 2026 - 21 Apr 2026

Tuesday 21st April / doors & bars open approx. 7pm / show starts approx 1 hour after doors / show ends approx. The Mystery of the Bulgarian Voices (Le Mystere des Voix Bulgares) Female Vocal Choir known in the past as The Bulgarian State Television Female Vocal Choir is an ensemble of rare artistic gift and enormous popular appeal. The choir truly represents one of the most amazing success stories in music. Created in the early 1950’s the choir’s first mission was to record authentic and arranged for multiple voices choral folk songs to be recorded and broadcast first on the radio and later on TV. The Swiss music producer Marcel Cellier discovered the beauty of the Bulgarian folk songs, folk singers, their unique voices and choral skills and in 1975 released his first album with songs performed by the choir - Volume I, which he called “Le Mystere des Voix Bulgares” (The Mystery of the Bulgarian Voices). The album soon became a best seller. In 1987 he released Volume II which in 1990 was awarded a Grammy Award for Best Traditional Folk Recording. It was at that time that the choir adopted the name "Le Mystere des Voix Bulgares". Since then, the choir has performed more than 1,500 concerts outside Bulgaria in some of the most prestigious venues in the world. Choir members have also worked with artists as diverse as Kate Bush and U2, the songs of the choir have been sampled and remixed by Drake, DJ Tiesto, FKA Twigs, Bring Me The Horizon and many others. Once described as "the marriage of the avant-garde and the Middle Ages", the magic of the ensemble stems from its success in mastering Bulgaria’s diverse, age-old vocal traditions while simultaneously sounding strikingly modern and original, thanks to the unique choral music structure - multi-part a cappella arrangements that transform its collective sound into strange colours as if something other than the human voice is being heard. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult over 21 (max. 2 U18s per adult 21+) This show will be performed in Spanish Liss Pereira, is one of Colombia’s most renowned and popular stand-up comedian, actress and media personality. She is known for her sharp, witty and relatable observations of life, relationships, womanhood, and challenges of modern life. She returns to London with her new show “Latina-Mente” a show about the traumas shared by generations that have shaped the minds of our Latin culture. Latina-Mente is a show that offers an honest vision of modern women and men and the new, mostly self-inflicted, social demands. It explores our tendencies toward collective schizophrenia and the trivialization of psychological vocabulary. It delves into the architectural design of personal remodelling and questions whether we are practicing self-care or self-bullying. Liss explores the confusion of ages between the "new old" and the "new young", and how we have more in common than we think, highlighting our relationships beyond romantic partnerships, friendships, and other forms of love. We'll laugh while recognising the "generational burnout", and navigate the consequences of our Latin upbringing and heritage. The venue will be filled on a first come first served basis starting from the ground floor and then up to the balcony so arrive early to maximise your chance of getting the space in the venue you require. You know your child better than we do, but we do ask you to consider that these are loud events with special effects and flashing lights before purchasing tickets.
