For A Few Mondays More

For A Few Mondays More

17 Jun 2025 - 21 Jun 2025

For a Few Mondays More is the world premiere sequel to A Fistful of Mondays and brings the original characters up-to-date, setting them new challenges whilst building on the energy and excitement of the first show with another classic country soundtrack and linedance action. The Walbersley Sports and Social Club is still struggling and is not helped by the arrival of a stranger in town. New landlord Steve Savage has designs on the club and on dance teacher Annie, which creates trouble for bar manager Barry, Tom and everyone else. Carol has to decide what to do about Jerry and a new member of the dance group stirs up arguments and friction with new ideas. In For a Few Mondays More the dance group must find a way to come together again to hold onto what they love before it is all taken from them. Balancing Act first produced A Fistful of Mondays at the OFS Oxford in 2009. This led to a UK number 1 Uk touring production of the play in 2011 (Rhinestone Mondays) starring Shaun Williamson (Eastenders); two members of pop group Steps (H and Faye) and Lyn Paul (Blood Brothers/ New Seekers)
