Manifested in the shape of a four piece, Lemon Power are Avant Garde and sleek; effortlessly combining a collection of sounds and influences in a musical tour de force. LASSO: Lasso is a London-based alt-rock four-piece band. The hyphen is their favourite punctuation mark, closely followed by the interrobang. ?! AJ WHY (DJ): So nice we had to do it THRICE. ONMO is a 6 piece contemporary Jazz ensemble led by guitarist and composer Jean de Talhouët. The music is dynamic and broad ranging, inspired by jazz greats such as Wayne Shorter and Joe Henderson, as well as contemporary composers such as Nik Bartsch and Steve Reich. Blending spiritual grooves, polyrhythms, modal harmony, it is in turn aerial and uplifting, dense and brooding, contemplative, yearning, enlivening, inspiring movement/dance. This music is a wish to celebrate the vital energy that exists in all living things, like a dance through hope and grief deepening our existential journey.
