Old School Indie - The indie night for the over 30s are once again joining forces with Feeling Gloomy & Age Against The Machine to bring you a special. Feeling Gloomy & Old School Indie DJs will be playing a mix of indie classics from across the decades so whether you were an 70s punk, 80s new waver, 90s britpopper or early 00s poser they'll be something for everyone.

A member of California's Project Blowed collective with a whip-smart sense of humor, rapper Open Mike Eagle was born Michael Eagle II in Chicago. It was at the Southern Illinois University Carbondale that the aspiring MC became an RA, and after he met Hannibal Buress, the resident advisor and student became fast friends. Grad school took him to the West Coast, where he joined the Project Blowed collective along with the group Thirsty Fish. In 2010, he went solo on Mush Records with Unapologetic Art Rap, an album that featured college bud Buress along with left-field MCs like Busdriver and Serengeti. Rappers Will Die of Natural Causes followed a year later on the Hellfyre label; then he collaborated with producer Awkward and issued 4NML HSPTL on Fake Four in 2012. The Mello Music group released the aptly titled Dark Comedy in 2014, the same year that Eagle submitted a track to The Ron and Fez Show, which the satellite radio talk show duo soon picked up as their theme song. He stuck with Mello for 2016's Hella Personal Film Festival, an album recorded with U.K. producer Paul White. Solo effort Brick Body Kids Still Daydream followed a year later, with EP What Happens When I Try to Relax arriving in 2018.

Two years ago, Declan J Donovan uploaded a home-recorded demo of a track called Fallen So Young to his SoundCloud. At the time, he was blissfully unaware that this would be the initial springboard for his fledgling music career. Written originally to be the best man speech at his Brother’s wedding, Declan wanted to give the song a life outside the confines of the wedding day. To his surprise, the song began to click with a few more people than he’d originally envisaged. With a string of gorgeous soulful singles, the singer/songwriter is clearly heading in the right direction.

СОЮЗ (SOYUZ) is a creative collective originally from Minsk, Belarus, that was founded by multi-instrumentalists Alex Chumak, the band's composer and principal arranger, and Mikita Arlou. After moving to Warsaw, Poland in 2022, they were joined by drummer Albert Karch and guitarist Igor Wiśniewski. The name of the band is translated as “union”, which reflects the creative nature of the relationship between its members and their collaborators. While the recordings of SOYUZ feature a wider array of instruments, live performances are reimagined by the quartet. They include musical insights from all the performers and leave room for collective improvisation. The new album called “KROK”, released on October 24th, 2025, was recorded in São Paulo, Stockholm and Warsaw. The first full-length record of the project made in Belarusian language with the additions in Portuguese and Japanese, it highlights the band’s ambition for further international collaboration, featuring songs with the acclaimed musicians Tim Bernardes (Brazil) and Manami Kakudo (Japan). Crowe Boys have been making music since both could pick up an instrument. Their music was an integral part of their family’s traveling lifestyle. Their journey took an exciting turn when they crossed paths with Andrew Campanelli, drummer for the multi-platinum band The Revivalists, who recognized the magic in their sound and stepped in as their producer. Together, they began recording a collection of songs, sharing the journey in real-time on social media. Then, in early 2024, a casual TikTok post featuring their song “Where Did I Go Wrong” went viral, changing everything. Minneapolis band she’s green describe themselves as “moss music”. Inspired as much by J.R.R. Tolkien and Hayao Miyazaki as by Slowdive and the Cocteau Twins, the band - consisting of Liam Armstrong, Zofia Smith, Raines Lucas, Kevin Seebeck and Teddy Nordvold - aim to create their own musical and visual world defined by dreamy fantasy, emotional openness and sonic depth. In 2023 she’s green released their debut EP, Wisteria, which included the viral hit “Mandy,” and in 2025 they released the follow-up EP, Chrysalis. It builds on the shimmering shoegaze and dream-pop of Wisteria, with ever more irresistible melodies and deeper songcraft. “We wanted to expand the scope of what we did with the first EP, and see how far we could push either side of the music - whether it’s harsh and jarring or it’s inviting and warm,” Armstrong says.
