Earthtone9

Earthtone9

18 Sept 2025 - 14 Dec 2025

earthtone9 are rightly hailed by those who know as one of the most forward-thinking, clever, musically wise and creatively smart in the history of British metal. Emerging in the late ‘90s as nu-metal was beginning to surge, their more nuanced palette and intelligent approach saw them hailed as something special and excitingly against the grain from the very beginning. Making an album a year between 1998 and 2000 – beginning with their expertly crafted Lo-def(inition) Discord debut, and culminating in 2000’s staggering Arc’tan’gent – it was a workrate as intense as the music was uniformly brilliant. After splitting in 2002 the band made a surprise return in 2013 with the crowdfunded album, IV. Following this they made only occasional appearances in the live arena (including at the ArcTanGent Festival, which purloined its name from their third album!), before once again seeming to disappear on hiatus. Now, 11 years on from their last record, they present In Resonance Nexus, a thrilling work of brains and muscle that not only stokes a fire, but sees the band's core members – vocalist Karl Middleton and guitarists Owen Packard and Joe Roberts – rediscovering and reconnecting with what makes them so special. In Resonance Nexus is the heaviest, fiercest, most heightened record they have ever made; a startling combination of almost feral intensity and the latter-day songwriting chops they displayed on the IV album. Presented by Action!. Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18 at all times. Under 8’s must have hearing protection.

Die Krupps

Born Again Concerts proudly presents 45TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR DIE KRUPPS DIE KRUPPS mastermind Jurgen Engler is a visionary who has had a lasting influence on the music landscape for decades. In the late 1970s, he was among the first German punk rockers with his band Male In the eighties, he formed DIE KRUPPS, a driving force of the industrial and EBM movements. When this scene was taken over by the mainstream in the nineties, the group from Dusseldorf integrated tough thrash guitars into their sound and became, along with Nine Inch Nails and Ministry, the most important source of inspiration in the electro metal genre and also influenced numerous bands of the Neue Deutsche Harte (New German Hardness). Inspiring a genre that produced acts such bands as Oomph!, Eisbrecher, and Rammstein. Die Krupps is now a name synonymous with the electro-industrial-metal & Neue Deutsche Harte genres. Since its formation in the early 80s, Die Krupps has constantly evolved, using synthesizers, metallic percussion, heavy guitars to create it's own brand of metal-machine-music. Its going to be an emotional run for Matt Camacho and myself. We get to honor or former bandmatesthe Late-Great Tim Calvert, Russ Anderson and Paul Bostaph. We had lightening in a bottle. Bob Mould Band

Bob Mould Band

18 Nov 2025 - 20 Nov 2025

Legendary musician Bob Mould taps Jason Narducy to open the solo portion of his Distortion and Blue Hearts! tour starting October 15, 2021, in Bloomington, IL at Castle Theater. These solo dates are the second part of a tour that begins with his band Narducy on bass and drummer Jon Wurster on September 16 at Paradise Rock Club in Boston. The full run of dates and locations are below. Mould also marks the 10-year anniversary of his groundbreaking memoir See A Little Light: The Trail of Rage and Melody by sharing a video clip of him reading from the book and then performing solo Wishing Well from his 1989 landmark album Workbook. On top of that he shares a trailer for his fourth and final vinyl box Distortion: Live an 8 LP set that includes live recordings from Mould's solo career and his band Sugar. This set will be released on July 16, 2021, through Demon Music Group. Mould sees parallels between the memoir and the Distortion box sets: After three years of writing my 2011 autobiography, See A Little Light, I was full speed ahead no more looking back. But over the past few years, during the production of the Distortion reissue series, many of the people, places, and circumstances that fueled those albums came back to life. Oddly, I didnt see that coming! As for today: the book is ten years old, Im thrilled that 30 years of my work has been re-released in so many configurations, and Im very grateful to be able to take these songs and stories to the stage later this year and hopefully many years to come. As time marches on, Im learning to embrace my past, enjoy the moment, and still have hopes and dreams for the future. As on the previously released box sets in the Distortion collection, the fourth volume sees each album being mastered by Jeff Lipton and Maria Rice at Peerless Mastering in Boston and is presented with brand new artwork designed by illustrator Simon Marchner and pressed on 140g clear vinyl with unique splatter effects. This box set includes 4 live albums: Live At The Cabaret Metro, 1989; the Sugar album The Joke Is Always On Us, Sometimes; LiveDog98 (first time on vinyl), and Live at ATP 2008 (first time on vinyl). In addition, the set includes a 28-page companion booklet featuring liner notes by journalist Keith Cameron; contributions from Bully's Alicia Bognanno; rare photographs and memorabilia, and a bonus LP Distortion Plus: Live, which features live rarities including B-Sides and stand-out tracks from the Circle of Friends concert film. Opening the Solo Distortion part of the tour is Jason Narducy who has been the bass player in Bob Mould's band since 2005. The Evanston, IL-based musician first gained renown in 1982, when at 11 years old, he formed the seminal punk rock band Verböten with his childhood friends in an Evanston basement. Narducy would later go on to front Verbow, releasing three albums with the band (one in its earliest incarnation as Jason & Alison). Since his days in Verbow, Narducy has gone on to tour with such acts as Robert Pollard and Telekinesis. Today, along with playing bass for Mould he performs the same role in Superchunk, and fronts Split Single, with whom he's recorded three albums with a rotating cast of stellar musicians, including Jon Wurster, Spoon's Britt Daniel, R.E.M.'s Mike Mills, and Wilco's John Stirratt. Split Single's new album, Amplificado, is out June 25th.
The Obsessed

The Obsessed

23 Oct 2025 - 23 Oct 2025

Desertscene London presents The Obsessed Performing 'The Church Within' in its entirety "Scott “Wino” Weinrich is a living legend. In a way, he is the American version of Lemmy and shares many traits with the late, much-beloved metal icon. He’s always been a rebel, loner and an outsider in an outsider scene, pursuing his music without regard for popularity or acceptance. In the process, he came to be considered one of the early pioneers of American doom. All of this began when he founded THE OBSESSED back in the 70s, then pursued through his many other outfits such as Saint Vitus or Spirit Caravan. As a key part of the 80s Washington/Maryland music scene, his music earned the respect of metal, punk and crossover fans alike while often being dubbed doom metal. Looking back, it was just gritty, street-wise American metal with a cynical bent and psychedelic flair, and this is what made him the unique and timeless heavy music icon he is today. THE OBSESSED was formed in the late 1970s in Potomac, Maryland by legendary guitarist Scott “Wino” Weinrich (Saint Vitus, Spirit Caravan). The band spawned in the realm of musicians/artists such as Black Sabbath, Frank Zappa, The Dictators, and The Stooges. The earliest lineup consisted of Wino, bassist Mark Laue, guitarist John Reese, and drummer Dave Flood. In 1983, Wino took over vocal duties and the band became a three-piece to record the Sodden Jackal EP. The band broke up in the late 80s after Wino moved to California to join Saint Vitus. At that time, a German label, Hellhound Records, and the booking agency that had signed Saint Vitus, released The Obsessed, originally recorded in 1985, prompting Wino to reform THE OBSESSED. After multiple lineup changes, the band signed to Columbia Records in 1994 to release their third and final album, The Church Within. Despite highly acclaimed reviews, they would break up following the release, seeing Wino forming Spirit Caravan (then Shine) and other projects." Presented by Desertscene. Adebisi Shank

Adebisi Shank

13 Aug 2025 - 14 Aug 2025

This is the Return of a Band Called Adebisi Shank. In the almost twenty years we’ve been promoting shows, few reunions have our community requested more frequently and with greater passion than that of Adebsis Shank. So we are beyond excited to be able to share that alongside the release of their new EP (!!!) ‘This is the Second EP of a band called Adebisi Shank’, they will be swinging through London for this very special date at the Dome ahead of their set at Arctangent. After a decade apart, Adebisi Shank have come back to where it all beganthree friends in a room, playing like their lives depended on it. Instinct, friendship, and sheer volume. None of them were interested in a by-the-numbers reunion. Adebisi Shank was always about forward momentum, new ideas, and creative risk. So there had to be new music. Four new tracks - chaotic, melodic, and wired with the same reckless energy that always drove them. The sound is sharp, raw, and alive with the joy of rediscovery. Frenetic guitars, driving bass, powerhouse drums - invigorated with new clarity, a renewed sense of purpose, and gratitude for the chance to be alive. Again. So, there you have it. Could you think of a better reason to buy a ticket immediately? No you could not.

Von Hertzen Brothers

Von Hertzen Brothers

7 Aug 2025 - 9 Aug 2025

Von Hertzen Brothers have never been an easy band to categorise by genre. Their music is often and better illustrated in terms one might use to describe a novella, painting or a movie: Dynamic. Thought provoking. Magical. Nuanced. Expansive. Epic. Uplifting. So, it is fitting that these three Finnish brothers approached their 8th studio album ‘Red Alert in the Blue Forest’ from the perspective of three artists creating a joint exhibition. The resulting body of work, a double LP, reflects the brothers’ unique upbringing, love of nature and the global challenges faced by humanity. It’s understandable how a strong artistic temperament was instilled into these three siblings. Kie, Mikko and Jonne’s father, Hasse and uncle, Lasse von Hertzen both played in well-known Scandinavian bands in the 60’s and 70s. One of Kie’s godfathers was an early Finnish environmentalist pioneer, the other one a well-known artist and a sculptor. The boys spent their holidays at their family’s seaside cabin on Finnish coastland where they still spend time writing songs and exploring the nature. An inevitable mutual vision steeped in Finnish folklore, musical traditions, wildlife, and humanitarian causes is often evident in their songwriting.

The New Roses

The New Roses

17 Sept 2025 - 27 Sept 2025

The New Roses story began in 2013 in the tranquil setting of Rheingau, Germany. With the title track of their debut album Without A Trace, Timmy Rough and his band colleagues landed on the compilation of the US cult biker TV series "Sons Of Anarchy" and thus also provided the song for the "Sons Of Anarchy" DVD trailer campaign in Germany. Since then, it´s been nothing less than a steady climb to the top. The band´s played hundreds of shows in their home country and abroad, signed a worldwide deal with Napalm Records (Universal), and released another 4 albums; all of which enjoyed high chart positions. The 2019 album Nothing But Wild, with the rock radio hit "Down By The River," reached #10 in the German album charts! Musically, The New Roses are an explosive force, taking their cues from idols like Guns N'Roses, AC/DC, Kid Rock, Metallica and The Black Crowes, but doing it in a very unique way. This musical concept makes The New Roses one of the few contemporary German rock bands to play on international soil. Their tours have taken the band to the biggest festivals in Europe such as Hellfest (FR), Sweden Rock (SE), Hard Rock Hell (UK), Masters Of Rock (CZ), and Rockfest Barcelona (ES), among others, where they shared the stage with greats like Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, The Scorpions, KISS and many more.

Sunflower Bean

Sunflower Bean

23 Oct 2025 - 29 Oct 2025

Sunflower Bean, the low slung psyche punk band that had Brooklyn in a spin in 2015 finally make it to these shores. Frontduo Julia Cumming and Nick Kivlen might just be rocks new poster kids, with everybody from Hedi Slimane to Burger Records already falling at their feet despite the trio barely being out of the traps. Their music means a whole lot more than the hype though, and next months debut album Human Ceremony has barely left our stereo since we had it sent at the end of last year. We thought it would be good, but not this good, and they'll probably make their way onto many best of 2016 lists with it.
Been Stellar

Been Stellar

19 Aug 2025 - 21 Aug 2025

Been Stellar is what you get when you leave the youth alone in a metropolis; they grow up. They make noise. Their songs are formed and lived somewhere on Broadway, on Hester, on 34th, in Union Square, on the bridge, in the gutter, and under your shoe. The trivial street scenes lipsticked by well-loved decades are fully recognized in Been Stellar’s hail of guitar tones and insistent lyrical earnesty. Crackly, bright and distorted - stories of violence, love, and a new, un-glamorous, New York City.
Hailing from the suburbs of Detroit, the beaches of Los Angeles, and Brazil by way of Sydney, Nando Dale (guitar), Laila Wayans (drums), Sam Slocum (vocals), Nico Brunstein (bass) and Skyler St. Marks (guitar) have positioned themselves at the glimmering rotten center of tonight’s rock and roll. Each member so distinctly themselves, it must be assumed that such a diverse and unlikely gang were drawn tight together in their first year of university by nothing short of serendipitous fortune and a shared, waggish sense of humor.
They are a band of friends - sharing, crying, fighting, and kissing- wreaking havoc together and laughing like how only the jaunty youth can afford to. Been Stellar’s arrangements come textured, swooping - pushing past you at a downtown pace and off to find a better night. The songs are of their own time and space, offering a New York City - Been Stellar’s New York City - the sounds of growing up young.

Psycroptic

Psycroptic

3 Aug 2025 - 3 Aug 2025

Australia is home to innumerable death metal bands. Few make their way beyond these shores, and fewer still garner global respect. Out of those, only one has maintained that position for a full 25 years: Australia’s finest, Tasmania’s pride and joy, PSYCROPTIC. When the history of technical metal is viewed in years to come, the books will come to show that PSYCROPTIC are responsible for a hefty slice of the genre. The band blasted into the deepest underground in the late 90s, then proceeded to drag the metal scene closer to what they do by sheer attrition. Their music guides you through the densest of riff jungles before bursting into the clear with powerfully rhythmic grooves and blasts, anchored by the profoundly talented Haley brothers. No band bio is complete without a quote from the band themselves, but this bio will need to remain incomplete. All the members are profoundly humble and simply let the music do all the talking. Guitarist Joe’s esoteric, impenetrable picking style weaves musical hooks that wrap around the listener before pulling back to reveal Dave’s pulsating rhythms. They achieve a level of synchronization only brothers with decades of experience playing together can achieve. There are none tighter. That their telepathic performance is matched by the final lineup of Todd Stern on bass and the charismatic roar of Jason Peppiatt is almost unfair. Like all masters, they make the impossible look impossibly easy. Most bands take a few albums to find their feet but PSYCROPTIC’s first two releases were underground classics: “The Isle of Disenchantment” (2001 self-released) and “The Scepter of the Ancients” (2003 Unique Leader). Matthew Chalk (vocals) and Cameron Grant (bass) were part of the first squad who joined the Haleys on their quest for perfection. A relentless touring schedule emerged in Australia, including legendary appearances at Canberra’s Metal for the Brain festival. Normally this would be the high point for an Australian metal band. Two albums out, successful shows, who could ask for more? Tasmania couldn’t contain them and as it turned out, neither could Australia. Their first overseas tour was Europe in 2004. Matthew was replaced on vocals by Jason Peppiatt, and PSYCROPTIC went on to record “Symbols of Failure” (2006 Neurotic). The band expanded their sound with “Ob (Servant)” (2008 Nuclear Blast) bringing in ambience and atmosphere, then “The Inherited Repression” (2012) introducing the powerful neck-cracking grooves that would mark their sound going forward. It also introduced them to touring the US with their first happening in 2010. This pushed their lust for the road to new levels, smashing audiences and stupefying musicians around the planet. They’re unique among death metal bands in that it’s almost pointless to try and list the festivals and countries they’ve visited, let alone the bands they’ve played with. It can be condensed to “everyone, everywhere”. Official estimates are at thirty countries. Standouts would be their tour of China in 2010, becoming the first Western band to appear in the Inner Mongolian city of Hohhot, and nearly getting caught in a three-day long traffic jam. They were one of the earlier Western bands to hit Indonesia’s now-famous Hammersonic Festival in 2013. They did a seven-day tour of India in 2017, roamed South America in 2022, and even managed to break into the US during the height of COVID. PSYCROPTIC solidified their American relationship by signing to Prosthetic Records in 2014, replacing Cameron on bass with US legend Todd Stern in 2015, then releasing their self-titled album in the same year. At this point something indefinable clicked, and the band unleashed “As The Kingdom Drowns” (2019), a clear step up from their previous work. “Divine Council” (2022) proved that this wasn’t a new level for the band - it’s a new normal. And there is no slowing down. As of late 2024, PSYCROPTIC are recording a new album and are booked in for a massive US tour in January 2025 with NILE and SIX FEET UNDER. PSYCROPTIC are no longer the local Australian band made good: they are a global powerhouse with a footprint the size of the world, nothing left to prove, and an endless commitment to finding ways to rock you as hard as technically possible. Stigmata presents Devision Redux

Stigmata presents Devision Redux

7 Sept 2025 - 7 Sept 2025

Almost every synth-pop fan in Germany and elsewhere knows the name and the DE/VISION brand. The guys who formed at the end of the 80s, played their way from various youth clubs to a major record deal in the 90s and left behind countless hits and live shows. DE/VISION in a nutshell. DEVISION REDUX - what the hell is that? According to singer SteWen Keth, DEVISION REDUX is a new format of DE/VISION, which in no way means the end of the actual band. DEVISION REDUX is an additional format and stands for the most important tracks of DE/VISION in a clubbier, more modern, partly also more minimalistic, but purely electronic guise. SteWen has chosen none other than Daniel Myer (HAUJOBB, DSTR, COVENANT etc.) as his partner for any new interpretations: a man who has followed DE/VISION's history from the very beginning. Daniel already supported DE/VISION musically in the 90s with several remixes and was always a welcome guest with his projects in the supporting program. DEVISION REDUX will perform live with SteWen & Daniel for the first time in the Baltic States, then on German soil over Easter 2025 and will probably also expand their live presence beyond that.

Wormrot

1 Nov 2025 - 1 Nov 2025

Old Empire & Doomstar proudly present: Wormrot plus guests TBA WORMROT will be back in the original line up! Rolling Stones Magazine described Wormrot's latest release ''HISS'' (2022) as one of the best metal releases of the year. To understand this Singaporean band's most unlikely journey to arrive on a list comprising the likes of Megadeth and Ozzy Osbourne, one must look back to the start where an equally unlikely signing started it all. Earache Records signed their very first Asian act in Wormrot within 2 weeks of Digby Pearson's chance encounter of an online mixtape back in 2009. Fresh faced and straight out of national service, the trio consisting of Rasyid (Guitar), Arif (Vocals), and Fitri (Drums), found themselves with a global record deal. Now back to the original lineup that started it all, Wormrot is geared to claim a place atop Grind’s pinnacle. Perhaps Kerrang Magazine put it best, that 'Wormrot can grind faces with the best of them, but they also bring in a host of other elements and their own unique flavour'. Presented by Old Empire & Doomstar. 14+ - under 18s accompanied with adult .
