Darkside, The Pink Floyd Show, a tribute to the music of Britain’s greatest progressive rock band, make their first visit to Mansfield with the 'With Friends Surrounded Tour'. After 15 years of touring, playing at theatres across the UK, seven musicians will deliver a show with empathy and passion playing tracks from Pink Floyds massive back-catalogue, from the early magical days of founder Syd Barrett through to later iconic albums, renowned for their complex structures, such as Dark Side of The Moon. The emphasis will be on replicating the experience of Pink Floyd live on stage in the 70’s which many believe was Floyd at their very best. Teach Rex uses life-like dinosaurs to perform their 1 hour show, teaching children about the anatomy and life of one the most mesmerising creatures that have ever roamed our planet. The show is teamed with effects, music and gives children and their families the chance to get up close and personal with these fantastic, realistic beasts. Children will be greeted by baby dinosaurs and given a ‘Dino Booklet’ which includes a variety of educational activities. You will also be provided with coloured crayons, all that is included in the price of a ticket, in this educational experience delivered by teachers. The new show will delve into the jaws of one of the most iconic dinosaurs to ever roam the world, the TREX. Delivered by primary school teachers, the team will take the audience on an interactive, prehistoric journey, pinpointing misconceptions surrounding this beast!

You will hear all about the life of an achiever who has given himself a reason to go on and do superhuman things, superhuman things that now seem normal to him. Kevin Sinfield is one of the most successful players in rugby league history. Having won many championships and Challenge Cup successes as part of great LEEDS RHINOS teams he also earned individual accolades as winner of the Lance Todd Trophy the Harry Sunderland Trophy and he is one of only five British players to ever win the coveted Golden Boot as well as receiving an MBE: 2014 (services to rugby league football) OBE: 2021 (services to rugby league football and charitable fundraising) CBE: 2024 (services to motor neurone disease awareness) It's not just the amazing feats that make Kevin what he is, it's the understated way in which he does them, the amazing mindset and humbleness in which he carries them out. He has a reason and that's what keeps him going and on Nov 23rd 2024 at his beloved Headingley we will have the pleasure of hearing all about it. Kevin is a major fundraiser for charities associated with Motor Neurone Disease. He started by running seven marathons in seven days, and since then he has continued to push himself and others through more physical challenges to raise much-needed funds and awareness for this cruel and debilitating disease.  To date Kevin and his team have raised millions of pounds from the following. Challenges such as Of course, we cannot give you any story of Kevin without mentioning friendships and one friendship in particular with Rob Burrow. Kev and Rob have been friends since they were 14 and 12 respectively. They went on and sat next to each other every day in the dressing room throughout 15 years of rugby and were at the very heart of one of rugby league's greatest teams at the LEEDS RHINOS. Their friendship and camaraderie extended beyond the field, and their bond grew stronger over the years.
