The Edge provides Chorlton, South Manchester, with a high quality theatre space and studio spaces, where they produce and present professional theatre, with a particular emphasis on musical theatre and theatre for families. The Edge also hosts lots of regular courses, classes and workshops for adults and young people, including tap dancing, Theatre Club, Ukulele Club, Introduction to Acting, Young Musicians and many more.

Celebrity Pop Quiz with John Thomson
Comedian, actor, narrator, drummer and all round fabulous TV personality, John Thomson will be hosting a Pop Quiz-themed evening in The Dressing Room Cafe & Bar at The Edge in Chorlton. For more than three decades, John has been a well-loved household name, having starred in many TV shows including Cold Feet, The Fast Show, Men Behaving Badly and Coronation Street - as well as performing in many theatre productions and films. As team captain in BBC Radio 2's Gaby's Talking Pictures since 2016, John will be the perfect quizmaster for the inaugural Pop Quiz at The Edge.

He wonders when the growing pain in his tummy started what had happened in his fathers life for him to react in the way he did? How can Tom get back to how he felt as a child? Blip dives into the funny, tough and tender moments that can shape a Father-Son relationship, as well as the vulnerable life-lessons that come with growing up. This one man show is a playful journey through memory and identity, with plenty of humour, heart and self-reflection.

The Edge Young Actors Company's Annual production. West of Arkham the hills rise wild, in these hills a collective of children (the origins of which unknown) have made a home. Their lives, although abnormal, are their own. After a meteorite lands on their farm, its properties unlike anything seen before, the world begins to warp and distort before their very eyes and twists their reality into something completely unrecognisable. A sinister cosmic force, a colour that exists on no spectrum known to humanity has begun to spread. The group must confront a horror beyond comprehension: vast, unknowable, and utterly indifferent. How will they fare against this colour out of space?
