Shared Airs: Lully, Handel, French Influencers
Please come and listen and enjoy the wonderful music of the French 17th cent airs de cour which had such an extraordinary influence and direction on European baroque - notably Handel and Vivaldi (and of course many others). Elspeth McVeigh has the privilege of being accompanied by Stuart Hope on harpsichord, in the delightful historic venue The Edinburgh Society of Musicians. Works by Lambert, Lully, Moulinie, Rameau and of course Handel and Vivaldi are in the one hour programme.
